Thanks a ton for this. I am just getting started on my new Crossfire XR. Lots of experience fabricating, lots of computer experience & graphic design....but new to putting them together in a cnc machine :) Lots of tutorials out there showing how to sketch parts and art with fusion and inkscape.....but not a lot of info on how to set up tools or generate the post/gcode. The mfg has the correct post for download but no instructions on how to install or even where to install LOL Anyway, I appreciate this video and the video on how to add tools you have posted here.

Yes you are correct and sorry it wasn’t explained clearly. The probe of .-16 is used to determine the cut height. fantastic just wasted my time on a 14 minute drafting lesson, would have been nice to learn what the title of the video states. you didnt mention a single thing about how to set up the plasma table post... your table profile was already loaded and you gave NO description on how it was created 0/5 stars

@@twoguysmakestuff4445 it won’t tool path for finer details. Your design may not have that. Did look like it on some stuff. But could you explain more on how to get it to path for finer details. I did watch another one of you videos explain relief cuts. I have the same issue there. It won’t path for it.

And it would seem that you could program the cut path to avoid an previoiusly cut piece. Not go over the top.
Yes you can, you do that in the lead in/lead out settings in the post process window. Thanks for the comment!
What parameters would you change if you want the lead in to begin in the middle of the letter youre cutting out?

Probe height - .16. It keeps going down past the material. Hmm it seems like it would run into the material. Some things you don't explain.
That’s the probe offset. The space from touch off til it clicks the torch height switch

You said pearce height zero, but when I watched it cut it wasn't zero.

Remove the lead-in/lead-out and pierce width in your cut
