I thought to be a councelling psychologist you HAVE to have a doctorate in counselling psychology?
No definitely not, you can do an accredited course that would provide you with the qualification same as for a psychotherapist or life coach. To be a clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist however you would require a doctorate
I saw a video saying phsycology degree is only worth it if you get a PhD ??
It’s a quite demanding job so to have a chance to get hired and paid well some people insist on it

You could do either of those pathways! Having extra degrees is not always necessary, there are many ways you can reach your goal through a vocational training route.
Hi, What can you do with a master's in General Psychology degree?
Pretty much anything! A lot of jobs will train you up once you're at an entry level position (i.e. marketing etc).

Yep! University of Manchester for my undergraduate and I’m at the University of Cambridge for my PhD
