We bought a used 2013 Drv when it was two years old. We later took it back to the DRV factory for some repair work. They treated me like I was a king and didn't charge me for any of the repairs that they took care. I feel very fortunate to have one of the Drv's.
Mark Hollingsworth you were still under warranty.
Don't be fooled you were charged when you initially bought it
We have a 2018 DRV MS 36RSSB3 and we love it. Bought in Jan 2018. Great full time home. You really need to compare the different units you look at. Yes these are more expensive than other units but you get a upgrade frame, thicker side wall insulated, independent suspension which is a big deal. Resale remains higher on these units also. Really is a great full time living unit. Before we bought we fly to Indiana for several RV factory tours. We we not even considering the DRV but decided to go to for a factory tour since we were there. We loved what we saw and made decision to go with DRV. Factory was clean, systematically set up and we saw what they used to built these units. Glad we went as it was a game changer for what we wanted. More expensive but worth it. We have watched video where some one bought a 5th wheel then they began installing options like independent suspension, full body paint after several years of wear, additional lighting inside, etc.. We bought our at the Number 1 DRV dealer in the USA - RV’s for Less. They were great to work with, great prices and service. Call Ken Rife and he will be glad to help you. Had best prices I could find. All warranty service was handled exceptionally. We even drove too to Indiana service facility for a couple items and they went above and beyond. They fixed the issues we had and actually went over the entire unit and fixed items that we did not even know that we damaged. Our WiFi Ranger had the antenna knocked off and they replaced for no charge. Great service. Service manager Ed Fry there was easy deal with. Thanks DRV for a well built unit. We are glad we bought a DRV.
If only everyone would do the same they just might understand why they cost what they do
Thanks for showing us inside a Mobile Suites! I was a detailer in South Florida detailing RV's. I always saw these in campgrounds and just loved the way they looked from the outside. I've always wanted to see how they look inside and they're even more stunning than I had imagined!
I met with these guys a few years ago at a local RV show. They literally bent over backwards when I asked them if they could do a custom floorplan with a separate office space and dedicated 15A power to run a high-end workstation. These 5th wheels are pure luxury inside and out. That hitch on the back is prime territory for a small motorcycle or ebike rack. With a F450 up front and a separate generator/fuel in the truck bed this RV can pretty much boondock away from civilization for as long as your food/water allows. It's a fulltimer's dream rig.
I'm just waiting on winning the lottery here...
I am looking for a floorplan that will include a separate office, and a full time living area. Fulltime home on the road, including office - sigh.... Did you get yours?
Ken Helmers maybe look for custom tiny house companies, they might be able to make you one for cheaper than the one in this video
Luscious3174 me too buddy me too
Ken Helmers, look for a two bedroom. One full and then opposite end of the rv is called a bunk room. Usually those bunks will fold up to accommodate your needs.
@@dennisreynolds6915 Typical one ton truck with the right configuration can tow it for less than half what a new semi tractor costs
Gorgeous 5th wheel. Amazing
Beautiful rig. I wouldn't kick it out of my garage, however, for 135-175k, I would sure think a 700-800$ stackable washer would be included. lol. Thanks for the tour. Loved it! ~Peace
Red Devil Raspberry amp
My husband and I have this model and are extremely happy with it. We traded our Montana high country and got full trade value which dropped the price a good
35,00.00. I would definitely recommend investing in this model.
I meant 35,000.00.
This puts my apartment to shame.
Learned a lot from this, really impressed by the detail on the frame up.
Oh this is nice. I love the Mother-in-law apartment at 0:01 through 0:08.
Just beautiful and, as always, your tour is awesome
I honestly have no idea how I found this channel but I'm glad I did.
buckeye91 same here this guy is really good
Lincoln town car 4.6 eng where is #7 cylinder
Oh I just got done watching this, didn't know I already did a year ago.
Been loving this brand for 15 + years they are awesome!!! used to be called "Double Tree RV"
Exactly. DRV has been around for a long time--this isn't a new option in the market. There's quite a robust used market with older ones that are more reasonably priced.
Awesome, loved the whole video. I learned so much about real high end fifth wheels that I did not know! That one was beautiful! The more you show me what is out there and tell all the pro's and cons, the better I will be when I purchase. So Thankful for your informative videos.
Love those DRVs. Excellent foundation and craftsmanship.
Love my 2018 DRV fullhouse JX450
I don't have the capacity in my life to generate that kind of money, but it's impressive to see people's abilities to buy such things and feels good to be an American! I'll stick to my 2014 Silverado and my homemade truck bed tent😂 great vid bud
My 5th wheel has separate water valves for each line and that is soooo nice. My kitchen sink developed a leaky water line connection, and I only had to turn off that line until I could buy a hose clamp!
Residential fridges are nice, but I'll skip it for my next one. They don't play well with solar.
I wish they offered a fuel cell option in place of the generator.
Very nice unit. You could live in this RV full time, and be very comfy doing it. Travel and enjoy life.
I'm willing to bet he's the new owner of this model. Goes perfectly with the new F450!
No if you watched some of his previous RV videos he did a tour of his and he needs a bunk house model for his family and it's also about 2x the price of his current RV
I was thinking the same thing! I did hear something about a basement bunk room. Haha.
So nice but you could by a 60,000 f350 and a 60,000 Montana and still have money left for food and campground fees. 🤗
Yes
Other then the ford
@@donaldkersey9416 best truck ever made and I sell every kind of truck..
@@swampfox2.090 I WAS a lifelong gm guy until my duramax head gaskets blew at 116k. Just brought home a 2021 Ford F-250 platinum and will never buy another truck that isn’t a ford!
Oh my! I love this. It's perfect for what we want. If you throw in the washer dryer of course.
Good video, I love how you stress the tow limits. Lots of difference between actual real world and advertising. Always play on the safe side. Cheers mate!
Wow!!😲
All that on only 2 axles? I was expecting 3!!✌
Old school RV trailers used three axles because that was the best way to carry the weight at the time. Newer axles can carry more weight, weigh less and handle better
Fantastic information, Thanks!
The term "trailer trash" will become an unknown phrase with this type of "trailer," LOL. Nicer than many stick and brick homes!!!
Unfortunitly no, you could fulltime in a $2,000,000 Class A with a Bugatti in a garage under it and people will still associate Fulltime RV'ng with Homelessness for some bizzare reason.
Oh yes. With a F450 (Platinum) and this beautiful home on wheels, I would be in RV heaven. You could not wipe the smile off my face, of that I am pretty sure!
Congratulations! This is the very best RV I´ve seen!
That is a really nice house on wheels. Too sweet for my wallet, but it shows what's possible if you got the dime. And it's made for full-time living. NICE
Tina Gallagher you can actually finance them for really cheap from my understanding.
Tina
It may be made for full time living, but it is not made for full time traveling, which is what a travel trailer is mostly used for. Trailers can be built for full time traveling. Just look at semi trailers. They spend their entire life on the road, usually loaded to their maximum GVWR. They have at least 8 wheels, a super strong frame, air ride suspension, air brakes, and are put together with a million rivets.
I agree with him on the wood color. To much orange, ruins the whole look and certainly not the look for 135,000. plus. Once you are in it for 18 years you will find the neutral/blonde cabinets and flooring with keep its looks (new look.)_
Holy Beautiful Fifth Wheel
I really Like this Rig! Out of price range for me......Just have to be satisfied with my 2005 Cedar Creek 5th wheel. Great Job showing the Rig! Enjoyed the Video as always.
your videos just keep coming up! Love them
most informative video I have seen on the mobile suites 5th wheel. Great work!
That red on the DRV blends right in with the F450 perfect match.
$175,000 on the lot, drive it off the lot it's worth half. Buy a gently used one, save the depreciation.
These guys have some huge balls trying to charge 175k for something like this. Maybe 175k if it drives itself, but even that's pushing it.
Good luck with that. It will lose some value, like all of them, but not half. This is not your standard fifth wheel. Plus, these aren't common, you'd be lucky to find one used.
This is the equivalent of a $300k motorhome.
Coldfireice8044... agreed. I just bought a 2020 Bighorn 39MB and he is showing comforts that I have at $60,000. No way would I pay $175,000 for this trailer.
Just WOW!
Very informative review thanks.
We really like the Luxe brand as well! They seem to be very well constructed.
My wife and I (and dog) have watched it four times- and each time- ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Great review...glad you're getting back to some 5th wheels. Wife and I spent a lot of time going over the DRVs at the Hershey show this year. They had the same model you reviewed and some others in the 36 & 44 foot range. Talking to the factory reps was a great opportunity. DRV also makes a lighter unit, the Aire.
After seeing these, I was convinced I need a dual rear wheel, now I just need to figure out if it's going to be a F-350 or F-450. Traffic concerns where I live and MPG are a factor.
Great video as usual
That grey and burgundy 5th wheel looked really nice with your truck.
Great review always informative
Very nice unit, wow
You truly know your stuff!! It's a pleasure to view your V-Logs and your knowledge base is usually much better than the salesman.
So keep up your hard work, I truly enjoy all of your V-Logs and the hard work that you put into them.
This is Alan from Riverside California, God Bless!!
My 2008 NuWa has a water supply manifold and a 10 gallon hot water heater. Also has a true 50 amp service panel with a separate 12 volt panel and a converter charger next to the batteries. NuWa had some really good features. My blue Dow foam walls are better than the unlaminated walls made with fiberglass insulation.
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls
Love the interior color.
damn. ruby is beautiful. It's the tuxedo black of the new gen. also, you should do a tow test with your new rig.
Great walkthrough review. I enjoy watching all the reviews.
I’d love to see a review on airstreams, and maybe you can tell me why they are in this same price point as this DRV, when obviously you seem to get a whole lot more with this particular coach.
6:36 the 5th wheel's cost is the elephant in room, right up until this guys wrist watch shows up
I own this exact DRV rv. We bought from Rolling Retreats in OK. For THOUSANDS less. They have THE best prices anywhere. Plus the after market service is beyond anything you can imagine . Slade and Alicia Tenney order DRV’s with special touches. I love the details that my KSSB4 has due to the “Alicia” touch. If you think you can’t afford one of these... check out Rolling Retreats. 🤗
You should try to find a dealer that has Van Leigh Vilano 5th wheels. I purchased one last may and am extremely impressed for the price point.
DRVs and Redwoods are my favorites.
These are nice, but the Beachfront Model Luxe are really nice!
Thank you so much! I noticed some rust on the frame- is that to be expected? Anyway- we love watching your video's, we are learning so much.
Cool review your always making great videos keep up the good work💯👍
I was waiting for the " well I hope you like my new 5er" at the end... 😎😎😎
If you like this one, you should see the 44’ Houston. We’ve own two DRV coaches (‘04 36’ TK-3, ‘16 38’ RSB3) in 13 yrs and seen them built. We believe they’re one of the best high end coaches in the industry.
Was waiting or him to say it was his toward the end of the video. Beautiful 5'er..Maybe some day
awesome 5th wheel
Fibreglass roof was standard on my adria 663 traveltrailer from 2009
I noticed that the DRV walls were thicker, but for us, the Chaparral's Azdel wall component is the most important feature because it does not delaminate or allow for mold growth. Too bad that for the asking price, DRV doesn't offer it.
Wish you could have gotten a pic of that trailer suspension.
I wish I would have seen this video prior to purchasing my Montana "high end" RV. My next RV will definately be one of these or something even better if there is something. This RV at the sale price is less than double what I paid for this Montana and I would have gladly paid the extra for something built this solid.
Absolutely love😀
I like the design RV solitude with front living room better. By full time living he means 4 season kiddies. 😆👍🏼
Love how messy the water manifold area looks! I see water lines, electric lines, heater hoses and random fiberglass insulation just stuffed in by the manifold.
Good review
Wife and I have some friends who live in Florida...they have a fifth wheel with the same interior from top to bottom..theirs is on a triple axel..paint is different on exterior other then that same rv... they travel from March/April to late Sept. to early October. then back to FL. they take their 2 kids with them ( 2 chocolate labs)
Golly that sure is a nice unit. Way outa my range but b e a utiful none the less. Great Review!
Boy am i glad i bought my Newmar Torrey Pine! My 08' Is every bit as nice, and just as well built, Moreride pinbox,Axles,Disc brakes,Goodyear G114's Corian counters,Painted exterior, fiberglass roof,Solid wood everything! You would not know its 9yrs old unless you looked at the vin plate. No, Newmar Discontineud building towables in 2012, They are focused on the Class A market at this point, But You can't beat the build quality of a Newmar. BTW, Not knocking this DRV, Its a fantastic looking well thought out rig, But My Torey is every bit as nice, and It's paid for!! Lol.
Its beautiful
Beautiful
That is a very nice 5th wheel. I would buy it if I could afford it. I think if one bought that 5th wheel and a nice new dually for about $75k it would still be cheaper than buying a Class A diesel pusher. And if you take into the account a car that I usually see being pulled it would definitely be cheaper. Also, I think it is easier to resell a higher end 5th wheel and truck than a class A RV
New to the channel so I don't know if you've done a video on the River Stone by forest river but you should. I sell them and they have 3 inch hung wall, framed every 16 just like the home you lay your head in. Plus we carry them standard with dishwasher and washer and dryer. Plus you save about 40 grand compared to this 5th wheel. Worth doing you're research!
very nice to have weights , pricing with vid. , looking to full time myself!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't have an rv but I love seeing these higher end RVs. Can you review the one dodge had attached at the state Fair of Texas that weighed 29k pounds?
Yes Let's see the TOY HAULERS. !! 👍🇺🇸
That Invicta watch he's wearing is a deal-breaker.
A freightliner Sportchassis will work great Stop and pulling.
very cool
This English guy is Amazed!
Hey maybe you can Find a truck camper in that dealer and review it☺.
Been following your channel for a while great info and contact on this RV very good, commentary I'm a subscriber now keep up the good work PS does this unit have outside entertainment System also would have like to seen how the awnings worked
My husband and I bought a used 5th wheel with a very similar set-up for 30k. I was expecting so much more for that kind of price tag. I can't believe how much these go for brand new!!
Hillary Steele remember when tiny homes picked up with grand reviews? Today, those tiny homes have doubled in price.
Nope. That country theme with oak killed it. I love country people. I love county music on occasion. Love country cooking. I love trucks that can move a country. I just don't want country in my RV.
Need something a bit more modern.
I just imagine that oak delaminating, splitting and looking like my first table I had out of high school.
Hence one of the reasons for the triple beam foundation
I might wanna go full time!

DRV the best on the market, imho. my sister bought a 7 year old one 13 months ago.
......Said the spider to the fly (still picking up my jaw) lol
Would like to know your thoughts on the cedar creek 38flx 5th wheel or a review. Great videos and great information. Thank you.
Great video, you know that trailer would look really good behind that F450 you have. You also said in the video you need a bigger baddest truck well you got it.
My new hobby is watching this guy review trailers I won't be able to afford until I'm 173
There are 2 of them at the koa I'm at in northern Michigan
Very detailed and informative video. You mentioned that this unit came with "disc brakes", does that mean other units still use electric shoes? I'm asking because all the specs I look at on other Fifth Wheels, and toy haulers do not state what kind of braking it comes with. I just through that all the manufactures got away from the shoes type, and went to disc. Safer, better stopping power, etc. Thanks again. Can not wait to see more Toy Hauler walk thru, Fullhouse line is great.
I'd love to customize one of these with black walnut or mahogany interior. It would be stunning!
Want a real truck you need a Freightliner Sport chassis,That is what I tow a Jayco Pennacle with and love the control it gives you.
Great video!!!! Keep them coming :)
This would look really good behind a 2018 Ford F450 Limited.
I work in the market so take it for what it's worth. Good luck...
Dang! Thought I clicked on Bob’s Cheap RV Living channel!
Could you do a reviews on arctic fox and open range campers?
Big truck great video but can ask how are the RV parks in the rock port and port a doing?. Are they getting back to operations?
