Looks nice. Also wanted to say the skull & co neogrip is fantastic. It’s what i use on my totk oled, and is dockable.
Gripcase is way better than the neo
Why is it better? Im in the market and im looking at this one vs neo vs grip. Why do you say its better? thx@@maxisenberg9093
same, I have both Zelda TOTK satysfye and the skull and co neo grip
@@gsdlife09which one is better?
@jodyanthony how is your dock now? The brand thing on the back always makes the dock bend out a bit and I'm worried about long term isses so i never leave it on when docking which is annoying.
The skull&co neo grip has been dockable I’ve had it for months and it’s been greay
Y’all really didn’t do research, did you? skull and co had this since the oled came out.
If I wasn't already happy with my previous satisfye grip, I would definitely get this one.
Finally?
Skull&Co and mumba have had dockable gripcases since the V2 lol
Yep, they didn’t do research
I have a satisfye grip for my OG switch but since it doesn’t work with my Oled, might have to get this one one day 👀 it solves the main issue I had with the first version and my Oled can also have a grip!!
I dont know why they didnt design it like this in the first place. I love my satisfye grip, but it felt like this was a no brainer
Love Satisfye ❤ great stuff!!
Skull N Co doesn’t get enough credit.
I had one, didn’t dock even tho it said it would and was just cheaply made. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
@@lostingreenbay exactly
@@lostingreenbayI don't know how you used yours but mine docked just fine. I didn't have any issues with it. They even have the NeoGrip in addition to the regular grip and it's also dockable.
Is not the first dockable grip. Skull and Co has been doing them since the first year of the Switch. The Neo Grip is an excellent grip!
The point that you're still just using the JoyCon at the end of the day is actually what drew me more towards favoring the Fixture Gaming mounts (S1 for the OG switch, S2 for the OLED). Those let you use the pro controller in a handheld form factor, and it's made longer handheld sessions so much better imo
We can't keep feeding my Switch accessory addiction!! - Jake
I ordered one on Amazon & it’s coming to my house on Friday!🙂
This model is still up for pre-order. Does not release until 10/30. Assuming you bought a different model (which wont be dockable or have game holders) Just FYI
If you don’t care about those, enjoy it
Hey Jake your so awesome and cool guys ever keep it up man
omg thank you 🫡 - Jake
@@GameXplainNo problem Jake
but the switch 2 is almost out, you guys said it yourself
Does it fit okay in the older dock??
I love my current one. Unfortunately I can't justify spending on another one but we'll see when the switch 2 comes out
Will this fit in a skullnco travel case?
Does this grip work with the old elite carry case
I got myself this Ronin recently. I really like having grips for the Switch and recommend someone else get one too. It makes playing in handheld mode more pleasant.
THE PROBLEM with Satisfye's Ronin grip, which I'm surprised wasn't mentioned, is that, if you dock the Switch with the grip on it, it completely blocks the USB ports on the side of the dock. So, they're now completely unusable while the Switch is docked. If you have the dock that comes with the Switch OLED, like I do, then there's not an extra USB port on the inside to use instead, since that was replaced with an ethernet port. So, if I still want to use my USB ports on the Switch to keep my controllers charged, I'm back where I was before getting the Ronin where I had to remove my Switch from my grip each time. So, that completely defeated the purpose of why I got the Ronin. I wanted to be able to keep my Switch in a grip and be able to dock it without having to slide it in and out of a grip each time, but I can't do that. I recommend people keep that in mind before getting the Ronin.
It's not the end of the world because Switch controllers, like the Pro Controller, doesn't need to be directly plugged into the Switch to be charged. Any USB port in your home can be used. Still, it was disappointing when I realized my Switch's own USB cables were rendered useless while the grip was on and I wish I would have thought of that before getting the grip.
Omg. I cannot get my games out of the grip. Is it really that tough at first? I almost want to use a tool to remove it. Any tips?
I have a grip like that but It stores switch carts
but personally I don't find It too comfortable
Is the Ronin compatible with the ZenGrip Pro Elite case?
I recently just bought myself an Elite bundle just last Christmas. The ability for the Ronin to dock is a game changer for me, but I really don't want to spend another $90 on an Elite bundle. I'm not gonna buy the Ronin if it doesn't fit in the ZenGrip Pro Elite case, and I'm not gonna spend $90 to switch to the Ronin, so it's kind of a deal breaker for me.
Update: I watched the reveal video from Satisfye and it looks like the Ronin is compatible with all previous cases.
Would anyone recommend this over nitro deck? I got one and right thumbstick is uncomfortable and rumble is terrible
I have 6-7 Satisfye grips they are great
I pre-ordered the green Ronin grip
Think they start shipping in Nov.
SO MANY GRIPS! How do you choose which to use?! - Jake
@@GameXplain had to collect all the colors 😆
I have 4, will be 7 after all 3 ronin variants get shipped soon 😂
@@blizmo2 I don't think they even were selling all these colors last Christmas, or I woulda bought a Pink one. I just have a generic black one. Sad. And I bet once I buy the Ronin, they'll come out with colors for that one too. :(
The cart slots are the best part, really. If only it held more
What's the point of having more cartridge slots when the Switch has nothing?
@@1JAM229The Switch 2 will fix this issue even though it only has 4 years left in his lifetime.
@@1JAM229 why, for all the 4 games it has of course 👍
@knuclear200x Add a couple of zeros after that 4, and then you get the actual Switch library.
@@SaltyToad00
Whoa, you're right!
4 + 00 = 4
I thought skullco grip is dockable?
How many sponsors did Jake get?
HES COOKING
Hahaha! Just for the record this video is *not* sponsored! Satisfye just sent us the product to try out! Thanks for watching - Jake
It's great!
Does it fit in the First/Original Switch and Dock? Not just the Oled Switch and Dock?
I don't have an Oled Switch, which is why I'm asking
Yep! Works with both - Jake
@@GameXplain Great to know, I'll definitely look into that Grip 👍
who else thought this meant a handheld grip that can connect to the TV with hdmi, while still holding and playing it in handheld..?
Skull and Co is killing this
The skull and co grip docks
I'm sold
Is it possible to remove the joycons with the grip on?
No, you have to completely remove the grip to remove the joycons.
Skull & Co cover exist...and It's better since it protects the whole switch
Nah, I prefer the Nitro Deck
I just ordered a Nitro Deck. How is the deadzone of the sticks. I seen some people saying the deadzone is really noticeable?
Does it block the USB Ports on the dock?
I just checked and it kinda depends on how much your USB connection is sticking out. I have one that can fit snuggly in and another that's a little too big - Jake
@@GameXplain ok thanks for that
Nope! SkullnCo has been making dockable grip case for 3-4years.
TechXplain
I bought one for my Switch Lite, then the TotK one for my main Switch.
Then it was no time after this was announced...
Hard pass.
But will it work for the Switch 2? And is it backwards compatible with the Nintendo NX?
I've had dockable grip for years, nothing new.
Dock n Roll
The hori split pad Pro Grips fit just fine into the dock.
No one wants to use the original joycons, they suck😅
The Split Pad does 2 things that are a game changer. First, it gives you a decent D-pad. Second, it gives you analog sticks with more than .01mm of travel. If you really need these 2 things, then the split pads are just far and beyond the better choice. But if you don't need those 2 things (which I don't, since all I play are puzzle games, RPGs, adventure games, and platformers), then I don't see much of a reason to get a Split Pad over a Satisfye.
The thing the Satisfye does infinitely better than the Split Pad Pro is comfort. Compare the Satisfye's grip to any other major console's controller. You wrap your fingers around the sides of the Satisfye and you have a death grip on it. You have complete control over your Switch like it was a controller. The Satisfye makes your Switch feel like you're holding a giant Xbox Core controller in terms of the grip. But if you look at the Split Pad Pro, you can't grip it almost at all. It has a tiny little bump on the edge, but that's about it. It isn't nearly as ergonomic as the Satisfye. And I'm guessing that effect is even worse on the Split Pad Compacts, which I haven't tried yet myself.
I really want them to find a way to turn the Switch into a WiiU.
So we can have one person playing on TV and the other on the gamepad somehow.
That’s what I thought the video meant by the title
Acting as if the skull and co grip doesnt exist lol
First
So what, kid? 🤦♂️ 🤡
