G'day Jason, Awesome work, apologies for not getting back to you re; fencing. Hope all is well for you down there in Victoria. Love your videos, keep up the great work. Looks bloody awesome, don't bother about the haters! All the best.
Such a good job mate much love from QLD! I'm looking at building a fence pretty much the same as this. Do you have a list of material sizing for each section?
Thanks heaps. 115 mm² dressed Cyprus posts. One 40 x 45 mm headboard and plinth. Rebated. 68 x 19 mm Cypress pickets. 70 x 42 mm structural pine rail 90 x 22 mm treated pine decking board for the cap
Hey mate. Great job. Can I ask, how do you cut the rebate for the palings into the header board and plinth? With a router or do you rip it with a circular saw? And do you fit the header board last or the palings last?
What benefit is it to install a post for the rollers to attach too compared to your other video where you made the bracket to hold them? Is it worth doing a post for rigidity? Also, any reason you leave the top leg on the frame? Is it for aesthetics?
Hi Jason. This is exactly what I'm looking for I would hire you straight away. But unfortunately I'm on the Gold coast. I've actually used some pics of your fences as inspiration when sourcing contractors. Any chance I could get a bit of info regarding gap spacing ,post size, plinth size. Bit cheeky I no but thought I would try. Cheers Mitch
Mitchell Gallop thank you for your kind words. Happy to help. 115x115mm dressed cypress posts. 140x45mm Plinth and head board and 70x45mm rail. All kiln dried structural treated pine. Cypress 68mm pickets with 19mm gaps.
Amazing work mate. Great to see trades specialising in areas and really going a cut above the rest!
Much appreciated! 😁
Gorgeous work. The best work I've seen online. I like you motto. Good enough will never achieve prfection. I despise that quote "good enough"
Thank you for showing everyone. We're trying to get this fence. But getting anyone to come around is the hardest part. Wish I could get you. 👍

Very nice work. If you got a bad comment I am sure its from jealousy due to them not being able to do that same quality. Again great work partner.

In the US we call it a safety post. Its there to prevent the gate from ever being able to fall on something or someone in big wind storms
Hey mate great work. Where do you get your gate frames from buddy?
Carl Russo thank you. If you’d like a gate frame and you are local enough, I’m happy to sort you out.
Awesome, I would hire you and then I would offer to help, so I can learn from a carpenter!
George Johnson strong hands and a strong back. 👍
