  • I'm testing ‪@loctiteNA‬ superglue + ‪@bakingsoda‬ (Arm and Hammer) to create a mega glue! Does it actually work?

It’s a lot easier to build up small items than epoxy is. A lot less waste, too.

I hadn’t even thought about the waste part. I feel like I always end up making more epoxy than I need, because you don’t want to run short in the middle of something, but throw a lot out. Great point dude! 🤘

Depends on the application, but for me the super glue / baking powder is a b*tch to work with
Occasionally use it to join puter or resin parts in miniature building. Its very fast but its also very brittle and I've found working with it to be much less precise

Good feedback. Do you normally use epoxy or something else?

it would be cool to see the weight barring difference on the pumpkin knife with baking soda mixed in and without(straight super glue).
Is there any advantage to mixing the two together then applying or is it critical to apply separately?

It dries so quick that I don't think you could pre-mix it. From what I can tell, the baking soda expands when the glue hits it, and basically fills in any space as it hardens. Using straight glue would be a good test though.
