Just ordered it to try it. I'm using the Jessi curl confident coils styling solution, and while I do like it, I have a similar pattern to her as well and I think my hair likes mousse more. I tried a foam from innersense once which was pretty nice but I'm really hoping this mousse is the jackpot giving me the perfect balance of volume, definition and hold. I also really liked the fact these were all one styler type looks. I'm lazy when it comes to my hair and am not willing to spend bucks and bucks on products. So this was very informative and nice to see😊
I have and use all three of these. I wasn't sure I loved the mousse at first, but now I LOVE it! Gives me great volume and curl enhancement. I also love the gel because I've just always been a gel girl. And I like the defining cream as well. I probably use the cream the least, but I do like it. I usually use the mousse and gel together and get the best results I've gotten from any products I've tried. These products have actually allowed me to go longer between washes because I can actually get decent-looking hair on days 2 and sometimes 3, which is a whole new thing for me! (My hair is similar in texture and wave pattern to Tabitha's)
Ulta sells a trial/travel size kit with all 3 of these that's $10, for indecisive, multiple styler users like myself! I got mine yesterday and was happy to see that they're more deluxe trial sizes, compared to other NYM travel products. I can tell I'll get more than one use out of them for my tailbone length 2c hair, very nice
I have never tried the mousse of this brand! I usually only stick to the gel & the cream from them but after watching this video I’m going to look into getting the mousse! Loved this video❤️
I love these and do curl definer, mousse-gel-mousse and hair was amazing! It was light and bouncy and I got 2nd day and a little bit of 3rd day hair (which I never get)
Loved this video review. I've seen so many videos and people layer in lots of products. It was nice to see only 1 product per day. I love the curl cream.
i like how your hair turned out with all three but the gel result was my favourite, i just love beachy waves! could you tell us more about your haircut (the type of cut, things you asked for from your stylist etc)? tysm
I really liked it too ☺️ I talked about it in one video but basically it’s a blunt cut with texturizing & some hidden layers.. pretty simple but this is what I asked for 🥰
The mousse!!! Definitely excited to try it! Thank you for this video. We have similar hair. I'm sure I'll try them all but I'm getting the mousse first!
The mousse looked really great on you! I have the cream because I needed to pick up a glycerin free cream while traveling. I did like it but I wanted to note in case anyone was wondering it’s not CG approved because it does contain wax. If you’re experiencing a lot of buildup and your hair is getting weighed down this product could be causing that, so try to clarify to remove the wax buildup.
Thank you for the tip I just started my journey and I think I have 2b hair just not as thick as Tabitha's and I just bought a routine of Imbue but I'm not really into it yet. I'll keep trying with those first but next I'll definitely try the cream cause my hair gets weighed down really quickly
For anyone who who has very fine hair the curl cream may not work for you very well. The third ingredient is shea butter as well as it contains keratin amino acids so it is pretty heavy.
As someone with fine, easily weighed down hair I was worried about this. I will say though, the cream doesn’t weigh my hair down at all! I can even use it on dry hair for a refresh and it’s amazing
I agree, but I found if I use a small amount on wet hands to thin it out it works nicely. My hair is super fine and it just give a little more definition and calms the frizz.
Your hair is absolutely stunning WHEN I SAW YOUR CUT I CUT MY HAIR THAT SHORT AND I REALLY LOVED IT AND I WANTED TO LET MY HAIR GROW BUT NOW THAT I SAW YOUR HAIR AGAIN I WANT TO CUT MY HAIR AGAIN ❤
I just got a small travel size set of these for my mom to try! We just discovered we have wavy hair lol. Excited to be able to send her this video to see how to use the products, thanks for making it!
Where did you find the travel sized set? I'm looking to try these too, but not sure if I'm willing to buy a full bottle in case it doesn't work as well on my hair.
The NYM mousse is my summer Go To for high humidity. The NYM cream and gel is my Winter Go To for keeping moisture during dry winter heating season. If you use Leave-in conditioners for longer hair, the NYM Leave-in is awesome, especially for those whose hair tangles easily.
Can't wait to go out and try these products! My hair isn't quite as wavy/curly as yours (at least I don't THINK it is) but I'm hoping to get it to it's full potential thanks to your tips ❤
i have been looking for somebody that has the same curl pattern as me forever. some people tell me i have curly and some say wavy do i never know which products to use! finally! i found someone who has hair like mine!
The mousse and gel are my favorites! I haven't tried many, so I cant really compare. But I'm super happy with them. I'm new to the CGM and when I used the mousse and gel, it was the best my hair has curled.
Those are my favorites as well! I do like the cream too, just tend to rely on the mousse and gel more. I get the best results from these products out of all the products I've tried!
You could try the Biotera Alcohol Free Defining Gel from Sally Beauty. I don't know if it's anything like the Deva Curl product you were trying to replace, but I feel like it has good hold and it's not sticky. I have wavy hair and I started using it about a year ago when multiple CGM ladies I watch on UA-cam recommended it and said they use it regularly.
i am going to buy the hair cream to start out with your hair looks a lot like mine and i think it will work. i use to use the redken hair cream for wavy hair and i was looking for a less expensive go to so i am going to buy this at my local drug store and try it out.
i'm so frustrated because i bought the mousse and the curl cream when they relaunched but my hair just ends up stringy and limp and has a hard cast to it...i have like a little longer hair (to my collarbones) and the same wavy pattern
You need to scrunch out the cast when your hair is dry, as Tabitha demonstrated in the video. You could also try adjusting the amounts you use. Or perhaps the combination of the two is too heavy for your hair. Maybe try the products separately. Hope you find a way to make them work for you!
Sometimes I will detangle in the shower with a wide tooth comb and I’ll do it before I rinse out my conditioner, but since my hair isn’t super prone to tangles I usually just brush it before I shower 🙃
Your hair is beautiful! However I’m confused. You said you really liked the gel but that you’d prob use the defining cream the most?? I bought the cream, gel and their 3 in 1 leave in and so far I don’t like anything. Now I’m thinking of exchanging for the mouse based on your review. I use the herbal essence totally twisted mouse but my hair needs more hold, it gets frizzy and fly away once dry. I have fine medium length spiral curls.
I just tend to go for a cream more often but I liked all of them! I think the mousse has good hold but it’s not crazy intense.. I hope it works for you or you find something that does 😊
I've used the Totally Twisted mousse (and I know a lot of people really like it), but I MUCH prefer the Curl Talk mousse!! I get better volume, less producty look and feel, and better waves from the Curl Talk mousse. Your mileage may vary, but I recommend trying it!
Thank you for the review, it came right on time for me because I was thinking of ordering some of the NYM products. I love your hair but I can't figure it out what kind of haircut you have, it looks like a bob, a stacked bob, a Deva Cut haha you just look so cute!
Hey! i just recently found your channel and im honestly loving every video🤍 My problem is that my hair is dry and lacks moisture and im trying to hydrate it. So if I use these products (at least the mousse and the gel) will I obtain nice curls or should I work on the moisture thing before using these products? Thanks!! 🤍💖💖🤍
Tried the defining cream. I have very short hair and the amount of curl varies depending on the location on my head. I have more curl on top and scrunch it to emphasize the curls. When I applied a small amount of the defining cream, the hair went flat. Less curl than without it. Wouldn't scrunch. Flat to my head. No lift. Made the hair feel dirty. And I only used a very small amount. Not impressed. May try the gel, which is what I intended to buy. Picked up the cream by mistake. Was using Garnier conditioning gel, but it has silicone. Haven't found a suitable gel replacement yet. Don't want hard as a rock and stringy looking, but hold.
Cream - 4:15
Mousse - 7:15
Gel - 8:58
Yw, those are all the results
Thank you very much!
Thank you
Love the way the mousse looked! We have a very similar curl pattern so I might need to check it out.

This was really helpful, i’m on my curly hair journey right now and your videos are really helping.
I’m so glad!! Thanks for watching, I appreciate you 💕
I loved the mousse!!
Love your channel ❤️❤️
Tabitha Gingerich awe thank you so much!!! I just found yours and I’m excited to see more videos ❤️🙌🏼
I liked the first look with the curl cream because it’s the most natural looking one and makes it look soft
Been looking for a new product to try. I am a true believer your hair gets immune to products and they just quit performing. Thanks for sharing!
Hope you like these! 🤍
I've been using these lately and I have been loving them! My hair looks and feels so good.
That’s awesome! Love to hear it 🥰

Ooh the mousse!!! It looks cute. & I just used all 3 in my hair and I'll see show this goes....
You did awesome explaining. I am glad I ran into your video 👍

Thank you for this comment it is very helpful. I purchased this and it was way to heavy for my very fine wavy hair.
@@Joanna-ls9qb Good to know Cuz I have fine wavy hair! Have you tried the gel and mousse? Did they work better for you?

I really like how the mousse turned out on you! I haven't used mousse in ages, but looks like I might have to try this one out!
I tried the NYM curl talk gel today for the first time. It works great!! Thank you for the advice! 😉
Have you tried using any of them in combo with each other and if they work well together?
Marie Gullickson I saw someone w wavy hair use the cream then gel and she loved it
She used them one after the other so she combined them
Carmeline .l awesome, thank you :)
Love these products! i hadn't tried the gel but after seeing this I might just stick with the mousse haha thank you for the help!!
Thank you for this review! I was waiting for it!! Yay!

Liked the 1st product you used. Seemed to have more volume
Me encantó! ¿Podrías probar los productos de dippity doo girl with curls ? 🥺
Could u use the cream and gel together?
your hair looks so gorgeous!!
I have thick, 2A-type hair - less curly, more wide waves - so would any of these work on me? which would you recommend?
Wow this video is super helpful!! Your nails are super pretty as well!
Thanks ☺️❤️
I need advice!! My hair is shoulder length and I used the same product in the video, but my hair came out hard and frizzy, what gives
I have straight hair. Do you think using all three products together would be effective for my hair?
I liked your look with the mousse best.
I wish I could get these in the UK. I really want to try the mousse

I love these products!
i'm so frustrated because i bought the mousse and the curl cream when they relaunched but my hair just ends up stringy and limp and has a hard cast to it...i have like a little longer hair (to my collarbones) and the same wavy pattern
Same. I returned the mousse. I do love the shampoo and conditioner.

You didn’t seem to put very little product on the top front of your hair yet you have good volume. Are you using more than it seems?
I just bought the cream but now I wish I’d bought the gel or mousse. I’ll probably try it and exchange for the gel or mousse if I don’t like it
You remind me of Emmy Rossum!
Very informative video! I'm starting to suspect I have wavy hair, so I may get these!
Ho do you keep your
Roots do voluminous even before shaking your roots out ❤️
Do you comb your hair after you shampoo and condition?

Gosh that mousse look is 🔥😎 of course, you always are so what even lol
I think your hair comes out better when you apply product on wetter hair. Better clumps and definition.
I wish these were easily available in the UK 🙃
What's the argan oil that you use?
Bhavna Tandon I think it’s the Shea moisture one xx
Yes, it’s Shea moisture 🙃
The mousse was the best!!!
Thank you for the review, it came right on time for me because I was thinking of ordering some of the NYM products.
