The "I hope you can read Chinese" is like a rickroll. It's been around for a long time but it's never gonna give you up.
Thanks for rickrolling me
Or let you down
swear to god if another person in the comment section talks about the "I hope you can read chinese"...
DOUBLE MEME
I can read chinese

"It's almost like gravity on the cube"
That's the best way to describe springs.
Yes
Lol yea
"Dont make magnets too strong"
2x2 customization by Cubehead is the perfect example of this
That wasn't a Valk but good comment.
Ye ikr
Cubehead even said that he created a monster.
@@mjcuber7267 that truely was a monster which refused to turn 😂😂
Time to bring out the neodinium magnets boys!
The "as long as you can read chinese" joke never gets old.

I think what's most fascinating is how far mechanical engineering for speedcubing has become. Designing all of these adjustable features and making them accessible to any new speedcuber certainly isn't easy.
... or intuitive and easy.
I'm an RS3M 2020 cuber, and I didn't get to experience the hassle of gluing magnets in place.
Many people complained about the cube's weak magnets, and I think that was the point. They're designed to be weak so that you can strengthen them without glues.
it wont be if a person is not into mechanical engineering/building overall.
Im a builder and programmer on our robotics team so I think it might not be that hard if you can be into it
Still remember the times when we only had the screw length and no magnets. Seems like an eternity ago.
Thank China and their manufacturing wizardry. If this was made 15 years ago in an American factory, they’d be hundreds and hundreds of dollars, no exaggeration. If Gan, moyu, etc. didn’t exist and it was an American factory, I would expect something like a Gan 13 to be $500 dollars minimum.
It’s been happening with tons of products. A good example off the top of my head is ultrasonic cleaners. For decades, if you wanted to buy a small one, there was only one American company that made them. The price was around $1500 to $2000 dollars for one. After Alibaba, you could immediately get one of equal quality straight from the Chinese factory for less than $100 bucks.
The best example is watches. There are a few models of the Rolex Submariner which you can get a counterfeit of from a Chinese website. The counterfeit is absolutely indistinguishable from genuine down to every last detail of all the complex internals. They even grow the exact same rubies that Rolex uses. Like it’s so perfectly copied that even a high level expert can’t tell them apart. It’s a big problem in the resell market. Nobody wants to buy them because there’s literally no way to know for sure if it’s genuine. These models used to resell for around $18k and now they go for like 14k which is an all time low. The counterfeit is $600. Genuine is 14-15 thousand. Again, they’re the exact same watch. Same everything. For all intents and purposes, it may as well be genuine because nobody will ever possibly know it’s not.
This is how good Chinese manufacturing is.
dawg I'm coming back after ten years and I'm so fucking dizzy
I bought your cube and it was amazing at first but then after messing around with it it became really bad and I thought I'm just doing bad after half a year I find this video where you explain how to customize it so well that even I understood and just after a few minutes of tweaking I broke my record twice without even trying!!! I recently started out so after watching this video I broke my record to 33.99 seconds and because of your amazing videos, I'm sure I will get under 20 pretty soon. so thank you so much for the amazing content!
What's your current PR?

Hi, JPerm. I had an idea for a video: a competition tutorial. I know, there is the video about 5 things you shout know before the first competition, but i would like a absolutely basic tutorial about the process and rules of competitions for people how has NO IDEA of it, but would like to go to a competition. Btw: I' m a big fan.

He’s not that underrated he has a good amount of subs and he is growing very fast
@@Plasmicballs yeah ikr
He's not underrated, he has a good amount of subscribers
I know that there are some cubers with shitty channels that have more subscribers than him, but he's not that underrated tho
Not really underrated. He is like the most subscribed cubing channel, or at least in top 5.

Thanks I had no Idea what I was doing ^-^
Thanks so much
Thank you sooo much very very helpful
Thank you for being such an amazing resource to the community for those of us just beginning our cubing journey. Your tutorials helped me solve my first cube, your CFOP guides with 4LLL has given me my 45s pbr and 55s avg, and guide helped me a lot in learning how the heck the cube works and how it needs to be maintained and customized now that I have my Moyu RS3M 2021 maglev. Your cube reviews are also interesting and entertaining and I've discovered a lot of cool twisty puzzles thanks to them.
Idk if you'll see this comment, but keep up the great work.
Dont know why the heck you average so slow on an maglev cube. I average 13 seconds in moyurs3m2020 and I have gan tooo
@@flaggycube1010i think he uses beginner cfop cus i hve a 45 avg
Using the same cube with 2 look
Very informative
That helps so much
thanks! i didint know the spring settings on my RS3M 2020
Love your vids
I miss the days of sanding down zhanchi and coating every single piece with a ton of lubix.
Hey J Perm, I used to watch your videos 3 years ago when I was still into cubing, I used to be sub 10 but now that I touched my Gan X, I sub at 20.
After watching your videos again, im going back to being a cuber. Thanks :D
Are you still a cuber ?
On the Gan and moyu system, changing the spring compression actually changes the screw depth by a tiny amount, but the difference between the max and minimum setting is actually kinda noticeable btw.
Do you remember this channel

Why do i laugh at this joke every time?
I'm already giggling when he's putting out that manual. (Is he gonna say it?)
Then I start bursting out when he says it.
Love your videos & useful
thanks jperm
that was really helpfull
Vedio quality is just out of this world😋
thanks so much
I was gonna make a video on setting up my cube so this will help a lot
Great video
Great tutorial I used it to setup every single one of cubes since this video was released but 1 thing I found after becoming a little bit more experience with setting up cubes is that lubes create a big difference in feel for example if you apply mythic in the wrm 2021 it wents from smooth to plush which changes the feel and more lube just change it even more it can make your cube feel gummy heavy etc besides that the the tutorial is great .
Very early and Thanks for the tutorial dude, it helps alot
i just got a Gan 356 M yesterday with extra GES, and the purple ones feel really nice to me. The flex on it is 0.6.
Thanks
love your videos
Thx for helping me on how to adjust it I set it to the most loose where it won't pop
Close to 700k!
This cube is very easy going
Hi jperm. I love yor content
Make more content like this which is related to customising the cube but not just the cube reviews
I know this is unrelated and you'll probably never see this J Perm, but I'm giving you a lefty high five as I've finally found conformation of the fact! :D Keep up the great vids, love 'em all :)
That's what I need.
