Yes! I really want to get an aosu gts2m but shipping costs just as much as the cube itself... and if i use a dutch cube site (im from the netherlands) it ends up costing even more for some reason
For people who use Gancubes, lube the GES with a heavy lube. It's completely optional but lubing the GES reduces the spring noise and results in a much lower pitched sound.
I use Microfiber cloths when wiping down my cubes. I also prefer super smooth feeling turning, but it needs to be fast. So I usually used a small, and I mean SMALL, bit of silicone lube on the tracks of the pieces, and then use a combination of TheCubicles Angstrom V and DNM37 (not sure what the SCS equivalents would be). This combo with fairly loos tensions makes my MF3RS2M fly with minimal effort, but remains very stable. Hope this helps someone :)

The video shows the white being adjusted but when checking, by spreading the opposite layers apart, you are in fact adjusting one or both of those sides (orange/red)... Repeating for all layers, then continuing to test, leading onto the corner cut test in your video using the white face.
thinking back, not sure i was clear so...I'm thinking it'd be easier to turn the checking face (white in this case) to the side, lets say to the left (right handed) so white face is pointing left then check that white faces gap in comparison to it's four sides in-turn (orange/green/red/blue) by ONLY separating the center piece of one of those sides (right thumb) and the side piece of the checking face (left thumb), 1 gap to view not two. A consistent, over-sized, spaced gap all round indicates an adjustment can be made to the white face, tightening the screw. An In-consistent gap indicates that you will need to repeat this process for the side face (which becomes your checking face) with the largest gap space, most likely being the side which is too loose.
I just lubed my QiYi concave DNA for the first time yesterday after having it for months with no lube, and OMG it made a huge difference. Soon, I might get a stickerless cube round the $5-$10 mark. Would I have to add lube to a cheaper one? Because, as a lazy dude, I don’t think I would be bothered to do this.
I had Huggies baby wipes lying around, easier to find than a fresh towel. They cut lube easily and leave fresh plastic, no need for toothbrush so far. They get every tiny bit of lube and leave a fresh surface as if lube was never there. Great after lubing too, keep your fingers clean and the outside of the cube grippy. Surprisingly good, give it a try.
Nice video! I appreciate your saying the requirements to make it solvable (otherwise, I would have assembled it solved). How long does it take you to take apart, clean, and set up a big cube (5x5x5 or 6x6x6)? Not having done it before, it took me about 90 minutes... someone could buy a new cube with the money earned in the time it takes to take apart, clean, and set it up. I wonder if someone who can disassemble and assemble them quickly could go to a competition and offering to do this for $5 to $25 (depending on the size of the cube). Someone could drop it off and return in a couple of hours, just like dropping off your car to get an oil change.
don't be too thorough with the cleaning part. most of the time I just lube, but when the insides get too bad, I do a slight cleaning so that it's about 80% good and takes far less time. I'm not sure how long it takes but probably around 20-30 min with cleaning and assembling, and just lube without cleaning would be 1 min.
You know I find the best way to break in a cube, especially a large cube is to stuff it into a sock or plastic bag and spin it around for a couple of minutes. It takes the lube and forces it to the outside if its not in the core and spreads the rest around to the inner pieces.

@@pragativarpe9521 😂😂thanks! I used my dad's silicon spray till now . Will try it in some days
This is what I am using but it slows down a bit after the residue it made. And also it makes the cube feels annoying fast and takes about a whole day to get stable untill some residue is made.
@@perfectsledge585 Yes. After you clean the cube and apply it, the cube does get a bit fast. But it also evaporates quickly and leaves a thin layer behind which really makes it more controllable.
For the cleaning cube part ,
Does it rust the magnet’s
Cause you used soap and water..
I'm thinking of getting the MoYu RS3 M 2020. How long will it take before I need to lube it? This is assuming about 1 hrs of usage per day.
The last time I was this early my v-cube would corner cut.
I thought that was impossible
@@danishdanial5596 that's the joke
V-Ku-Bei !
The three dislikes are from Rubik's brand users

Hey
Hey
@Chongbai he cares for you. he don't want you to poop your pants
you guys have any info on that meilong pack of cubes with 2x2 3x3 4x4 5x5 that is hard to corner cut with?
I use Lunar and Weight 5, because it makes it smooth but also controllable, slightly fast turning feel because of Lunar’s speed and Weight 5 making it slow and controllable. I would recommend this setup because if it’s smooth and fast but controllable feel!
My only cube is a Rubiks branded 3x3 that i droppes in sand
Good luck reassembling it
Try fileing it down with a file and was all the pieces with water
You said that you take out an edge and I can't find it on my 2x2
Instructions unclear. I lubricated my duck instead.
Quetzalcoatl what did you lube it with
I lubricated my recording desk using weight 3
A common mistake, really. They're both very similar in appearance.
Hi, does weight 10k lube (traxxas) mean weight 1 silicone lube ? Im confused if weight 50k is like silicone lube weight 5, or if 50k is MUCH more thick than weight 5?
How do you get your original tension back? And my cube only has screws like this 3:18 no springs tho. Please tell me how to get my old tension back!!!
3:09 ohhhhhhhh PLL skip
Use a q-tip instead of a toothbrush
It's not as easy to clean it. Toothbrushes are more stiff and have more reach in small fixed areas.
...somehow I got hair in my cube?
Yea there's a vid about that, turns out some hair goes into your cube, disgusting but real
I really needed this. I am not lubricating my cube right. Now I will try again and may be get it right.
wow.
i just got lube and put it on my cube, and became sub 30 right after. Thank u

I thought I was a cuber...
Apparently not
Edit: over two years later, I have lube and average 16 seconds
Can we see some pyraminx vids please
1:12 odd number cubes (1x1 3x3 5x5 7x7...)
I wonder if you can lube a 1x1 that would be interisting, but thanks! for the video
When we lube the cube and what time and how many day’s we lube the cube 1 time
Hey Jperm, can you do a voice reveal
Hand reveal better
Foot reveal
Josh Lee I don’t think you get this
a cube reveal would be better

I'm too scared to take apart my cube
Which cube do you have?
@@stangneshakon qiyi warrior W, I'm just scared that I'll do it wrong and screw up my cube
@@durras18 As long as you keep all the pieces together, so you have all the pieces, everything should be fine. The worst thing that can happen is maybe a few centercaps fly off the cube.
@@stangneshakon idk, I'm just scared that I'll break it when I take it apart lmao
@@durras18 You might have to loosen the screws then.
do i have to clean the cube before putting lube? I have a gan and it says that i should clean it before putting another lube than the brand but i dont have those.
Also do i have to get those specific rubiks cube lube? Doesnt any silicone works?
Me just now getting my new 5x5 and needed to know how to take care of it so thanks!!
