@@TurbineResearch the new S485 turbo, TRE intercooler, and 6R80 transmission combo are absolutely amazing! Wish I had more time to post videos up but hopefully soon 🤙
My Goldbox with Bluetooth adapter has worked flawlessly. Downloading datalogs over Bluetooth is really convenient. Without a rs232 port on this new unit I guess doing Bluetooth is no longer possible. Not a deal breaker though, I will definitely be getting one of these new units at some point.
Just comparing the info pages quick, this has 8 ign output vs the pro mini's 4, it's got more outputs, and it's got more inputs, and it's cheaper! This has a real time clock. Gold lite looks to have 48 total wires, pro mini has 35. I think this one absolutely demolishes the pro mini. If I didn't already have a leftover pimpxshift I would absolutely be buying this to upgrade from my current 2x micro install.
Would you happen to know if this will work with haltech ic7 dash with can bus connection? Found your channel about maxxecu. I sold my haltech 550 so need a new ecu for my honda b18b turbo. Was going to get the mini but would have to get a wideband controller so price wpuls be pretty close to street version. Does this ms have built in wideband control? If not, what wpuld you recommend? Priced out, would the Maxx street be best option?
You'd gain possibly sequential inj, 8x coil outputs so you could go to cop/CNP. I think the best reason to upgrade though is a lot better flex fuel control, and a lot better O2 correction features. The flex fuel control alone could be worth it if you use it.
$650. Wow. This is great and a modern plug instead of the megasquirt db plug would be awesome for my build.
Awesome video man, it's great seeing your channel grow and develop!
Thanks John ! Hope the turbo big block is still doing well and laying rubber !

Hope u do this one full sequential in a nice detailed video
Yes! That will be coming soon.
Dang. And I just bought the MS3X for my SRT4 swap in a 89 Daytona
The old Daytonas are rad ! Sounds like a cool project
Have had the poor thing since 1995 with 81,000 on it. Still has 81,000 on it. Lol@TurbineResearch
Nice video, cant wait to see the performance.
how does this compare with the MS3 Mini?

If you need a test vehicle to install this on, I have a few that I'll gladly bring by.
This will be going on my e28
650 and add another 350 for a whole 21 circ painless chasis harness
I want to upgrade my MSPNP2 to the MSPNP3 version but not sure it’s worth the money for my simple application ( 1995 mustang 331 vortech supercharger)
Unless you plan to use the extra IO or software features it’s probably fine to stay on the ms2
You'd gain possibly sequential inj, 8x coil outputs so you could go to cop/CNP.

This work on a k24a2 4cly? Doing a Acura engine into a Nissan.
It would work great on a k24
@TurbineResearch That's great, $700 for a ECU vs all the others being $1500, does these have DBW functions?
@@Level_Up_Nation this doesn’t have dbw unfortunately
@TurbineResearch all good, should still be able to wire something up for it to work, like Flash Pro.
No help for my Volvo 850 T5 on the new MS3?
According to the ms3 software documentation 5cyl is supported
@@TurbineResearch Didn't see that in the manual, now it got interesting
👍💪 Good stuff.
Thanks 👍
Just go proyect ecu... same form factor same software, better price
Yea no. It's not even in the same parking lot. I just looked it up. It's not much better than a microsquirt
