Strewth Trev--you are now officially a part of a future volume of...Dartmoor Legends!!! I take my hat off to you, brilliant! This achievement and your channel in general are a great inspiration. Wilkinson's have bathing salts priced only a quid--reckon your feet need it!
Haha! Yea, they needed something lol. Thanks for watching! All the best!
That last bit from Left Lake Myers is hell. The hard rocks under tired feet did me in when i walk/run/walked from Fingle Bridge to Ivy bridge
Yea - its a killer alright!
TOP TIP! For anyone planning this trip, be wary about the path from grey wethers stone circle down south to heartland Tor (just north of postbridge)
The bridle way goes along the side of the valley through thick gorse and the path disappears. Wasted loads of time! There is a decent path that follows the brow of the hill, only about 400m to the east.
Honestly take the slightly longer route and you will save a lot of time and energy!
You're in very good shape! That was nice walk! Thank you sir! 🍻🇫🇮
Not so good now, though! Gota little out of shape, id struggle with this today I reckon! Thanks for watching!
Congrats Trev. That's an accomplishment to feel rightly proud of. I'd probably get distracted and go off course Tor bagging. Well done. John.
Haha... Yea, it was a shame to be passing these tors and not really exploring them. Cheers for watching!
Awesome effort! I did a 23 mile hike this summer (not planned, just couldn't find a usable campsite..), and was completely destroyed. Couldn't imagine hiking another 10 miles on top of that!
I think stepping up the mileage in the weeks leading up helped a lot. Thanks for watching!
Full respect Trev. Years ago I did a 23 mile walk in the day, in the peak district and I certainly know what you mean when you say the legs seize up . Well done
Thanks very much, Paul! It was a good day to be honest, and i was glad that the terrain was much firmer and clearer than I imagined it was going to be. Rough terrain and bad weather could have made the trek a different story altogether.
You're an absolute legend, Trev - congratulations on your achievement! I would've been chuffed with half that distance. ATB Max.
Cheers Max - it was a lot easier than i thought it was going to be, and surprisingly well tracked too. Cheers for watching, Max!
As a marine that had to run that route i respect the challenge you undertook.. well done👍🏻
Awesome! Thanks. Was a good old stomp... i'd probably struggle now!
33 miles that is really good going specially over the moors. Well done. Richard
Cheers Richard - wasn't as bad terrain as I thought it was going to be!
Very Impressive Trev, and all for a Great Cause. You hiked a difficult section of the Two Moors Way. Thanks for the Upload. Phill
Cheers Phillip - glad that you enjoyed it.
How can someone give u a thumbs down for this massive effort. Well done Trev
I know Colin - I usually get a handful of dislikes almost immediately as the videos go up - they don't even watch, which is sad but not my problem... they're the ones with some kind of inferiority complex!
Well done young fella, top achievement 👍👍👍
Cheers Brian!
Now that's what you call a trek! What a fantastic challenge. Going to have to try it at some point
Cheers - its a goodun for sure!
Well done Trevor. Pushing yourself to finish.
Cheers Karl - it was a slog, but enjoyable! Cheers for watching!
Congratulations Trev. Hats off to you. Respect! 👍✨✨✨
Thank you!
Nice one Trev, Good Effort! Thew a donation your way, you earned it. Did that route myself a few years back but over 2 days. Fair play for doing it in a day!
Thanks Darren - much appreciated!
Well done Trev hope you have recovered well
Yea, I did... had a little time to myself since though!
Hey Trev - just finished my gold dofe in Dartmoor - your videos made it a breeze! - you persuaded me to get an oex phoxx 2 and it was excellent during storm Francis - thank you!
Brilliant Tomas! Really glad to hear that! And well done!
Well done Trev, huge achievement.
Cheers John!
Very well done! A massive achievement for a worthwhile cause. 👍
Thanks Chris!
Been waiting for this... I did ~29 over on Brecons a month or so ago and there was a point, around 25mi, where I realised that I'd screwed up and plotted in a steep climb. 33 miles is almost the two days junior Ten Tor route, nimble little beggers they are too, good shout.. yes, something a bit easier next time was the first thing I said :D
Cheers Andrew - and well done on your own Brecon Avdenture! The last thing you want is a steep climb at the end lol. I almost did this from South to North until someone pointed out that that way around was practically all up hill. lol
Well done Trev. You smashed it! 👏
Cheers mate !
I binge-watched all the videos on your channel starting with Pen Y Fan. Loads of inspiration. thanks for this
Amazing! Thanks ever so much for watching! Glad that you enjoy them! Cheers!
You made it look too easy! well done xx
Thank you! 😊
You legend well done Trev! Epic journey and finished with a smile!
Cheers John!
Trev , Congratulations on completing your dartmoor in a day trek . I'd just like to say a massive thank you to you for your great weekly content and your humour and enthusiasm for the place i once called home . I hope you and your channel continue to prosper abd i can't wait for the next video.
Thanks very much, Tony! Really glad that you enjoy the content! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic achievement Trev, so very well done. Top man!!
Thanks Gary!
EPIC TREV!!!!! Bloody well done sir 👍👍
Thanks Peter!
Well done Trev, a great effort for a great cause. All that training paid dividends. Regards Keith
It certainly did, Keith. Thanks for watching
Well done Trev. I hope your recovering fast.
Thanks and yea - in no time!
Well done trev crossing dartmoor in a day, must of felt great completing the challenge. Great video, I was really looking forward to this one and it didn't disapoint. Had to smile 😏 at the gators, did the same once with boots, only discovered it when I opened the boot of the car to get them on, oh well. Anyway great effort and well done you. 👍🤘
Haha... I don't know how I'd have managed the 33 miles with one Solomon and one meindl boot lol. Cheers for watching!
Hi there, epic hike Trev. The video reminded me of my past dartmoor trips and made me excited about my Two Moors Way trip in September. Keep uploading your great videos.
Cool - enjoy the 2MW and thanks for watching!
WOW! I take my hat off to you Trev, what an amazing achievement that was and I thought you were a legend before but you just made it official! I know you said you were bearing up alright but man, I do not know how you did it, mind you, I would like to see you do it again lol. That was worth another donation, cheers Alan
Ah thank you ever so much, Alan. I think the lengthy training hikes beforehand certainly helped. I was shattered at the end but I must admit I found it much easier than I thought I would have. Cheers for watching!
Well done trev , u made that look a doddle ! that was a great achievement ! 👍🙂
It went much better than I had thought. Thanks for watching!
Brilliant video. Congratulations Trev. That’s a right of passage for all of us that love Dartmoor. Now you need to do the same with an overnighter and then... the “Up and Back”
Cheers Kevin. I didn't film the walk home, lol. Will definitely do it again with a camp in between one day. Really enjoyed it. Cheers
well done Trev ...you made that look easy...also you have given me a great idea...Peak district south to north...off to study my maps.
Cheers! And Good luck with that!
Brilliant Trev! Quite the accomplishment in a day... 👍😀👍 It would have taken me 3 to 4 days to do that.. Even if I could walk the second, third and possibly fourth day... LOL Congrats you have done it!
Thanks Max - really enjoyed this one cheers
Bravo 👏 Trevor!!! You did it gracefully!!!
Thank you!! 😁
Good job Trev, awesome effort
Thanks very much!
Massive congratulations Trev. That is an epic walk. I take my hat of and my walking boots to you.
Haha... Keep your boots on mate, I have enough lol. Thanks for watching! Cheers
Well done Trev, it was good to see you walk the track past Steeperton, I walked that path too the other week and crossed the river, good to see what's the other side of Steeperton. Big Up Respect for completing it mate.
Cheers Lee - it was an interesting and invigorating day - I joined a lot of dots with this one and raised some good cash for charity in the process! Thanks for watching!
Bloody loved that episode Trev. Took me back to how I used to feel. Excited about getting out and seeing the majesty.
Great video!
And you looked so handsome!
If sweaty and panting does it for you lol. Cheers Thom - hope you had a good birthday, chief!
Summit Or Nothing *rubs thighs*
Thanks mate. It was a great day. Tested the boat!
Nice work Trev. It's funny because you kept crossing and following parts of the route i did 2 weekends ago (my latest vid 😉).... I was like "I've been there......i remember that bit!" the MW post was one of my highlights, like things like that 🤷🏻♂️
Ah, cool - its always good to see places you have been in other vids! Thanks for watching!
What an awesome achievement Trev, please consider dropping a quick video to recap the day and share with us the highs & lows and also how you recovered....all the best and rest easy :-)
May answer some questions on it for the 10K Q&A... Thanks for watching!
Great video and fantastic achievement. Well done Trev. Nice to see several sections that I have walked over the years as well as some new ones. The final section along the 2MW is one I walk two or three times a month from and back to Ivybridge. I bet that final track took its toll on your feet after such a distance!
The final stretch took its toll on my mind if anything - I think having one track to walk for several miles didn't feel as though the walk got split up so much... I was like a zombie through there lol. Thanks for watching!
Epic Trev! Well done chap, tremendous effort.
Thanks Gareth!
Well done Trev, never in doubt. Good effort. Can’t wait to get back out there. 👍
Cheers Gareth! Thanks for watching!
Geddon Trev, come along way in all terms of the phrase! What a walk x
Yea - I didn't imagine I'd be doing this back when i first walked up the little hill from Sauton carprak and onto the moor all those years ago... haha!
@@SummitOrNothing what an achievement and u are constantly inspiring me and my husband to get out and about more, so keep up the good work x
Hugely impressed by that effort.. massive respect Trev, nicely done, and not even a little bit of moaning at all.. 😝👏👏👏👏
Haha... Bit of a wobble in the middle but to be honest I really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching
@@SummitOrNothing thanks for making decent content. 👏👍
@@linedwell ☺️
Wow fair play to you mate that is one hell of a achievement I'm going to do this over 3 days though 😁👍
I think I may struggle with this walk at the moment... must... get... back... in .... shappe hahah! Good luck on your own journey!
Really enjoyed this! Well done - a great cause as well.
Thank you Elizabeth!
Wow, well done Trev! Absolute legend for doing that, and not seeming absolutely knackered at the end. Great video as always, well worth the wait.
Cheers Joe! I was shattered in the end - but in good spirits. Cheers for watching!
Great 👍 well done mate, you are an inspiration 😁
Cheers!
Fantastic achievement Trev, incredible to see how far you've come since the early days. Chucked a couple of quid your way the other day for the cause, can't wait to see more adventures from you.
Thanks very much - not sure quite how to follow this one up to be honest!
@@SummitOrNothing If you want another journey up north have a look at the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, could be a good run out for you if you're still looking for a challenge. I'm dragging my fat arse round it in October!
@@Voladium23 We were going to have a go at that this year, funnily enough, before the old CoVid reared its ugly head!
Nice one Trev. Love that you used some of the classic SON music in this film. Fair play, you’ve doubled my longest day of walking there 🤣 brilliant walk, brilliant charity, top man 👍🏼
Cheers Rich - was good to finally get this done and dusted! Cheers for watching!
What a great effort Trev and well done for raising so much money. I walked the Cleveland Way in September for charity and it certainly kept me going when it got tough. Definitely going to do more for charity in 2021. It’s a great feeling doing something for others isn’t it?
Good on you, Anthony! Its good to do your bit for those who need it! Thanks for watching!
Respect, respect, respect! A tremendous effort (all that training paid off, dude) and a brilliant video. Hope you are fully recovered or, if not, well on the road to a full recovery. Cheers. Ken
I was fine the next day, ken. Was good to get it out of the way, cheers!
Upmost respect to you Trev. Amazing effort there. A real inspiration to us all on what can be achieved with a positive mind set and serious commitment. Hope you had a well deserved beer when you got home 👍
All I craved in the last miles was an Del Monte Lemonade Ice Lolly. Stopped in a garage on the way home and was pleased that they sold them. Thanks for watching!
Summit Or Nothing the man from Del Monte he say “well deserved “ 😆
Awesome Trev, congratulations, Dartmoor in a day what an achievement 👍

Brilliant result Trev, well done. Loved the extra Patreon behind the scenes video as well, can definitely tell the part of the journey where madness kicked in 😂. Added a donation to your just giving page.
Thanks very much, Paul. Really appreciate your donation cheers. Glad i chose last weekend to do it and not this weekend. I think I would be a melted heap up there at the moment. Thanks for watching!

A good tick on your bucket list 👍
It is that, Tony! Cheers mate!
Well done Trev. Donated to your worthy cause. 👍
Thank you very much, Julian! Much appreciated!
Amazing trev, really impressed with that for sure. Inspired by your videos I did a wild camp on dartmoor for a few nights last week and it was the best time ever. Going back in three weeks to do it all again ! Going to return to Foggintor when it looks a bit less like Butlins !!!! Congrats on reaching your just giving target !!
Thanks very much! Yea, its crazy busy at the moment, Mark - I've been kind of avoiding it recently - was hoping for quieter mid-week camps but been busy working.... oh well, it'll calm down soon when the colder weather turns up!
Nice one Trev.
Cheers Bob!
Great effort - you inspired me to do the same walk 😊
I carried my tent, sleeping bag etc - 1 day down and two days back.
Slept in a pub at the end of the first day - steak, pint, bath and soft bed never felt so good!
Then hobbled back up to Belstone, much slower than on the way down! Struggled at the end of day 3, honestly I wouldn’t recommend it, get public transport back…!
That sounds great - I may have to do this again myself at some point, but taking time and with a camp or two as well. Sorry for late reply!
Well done trev,
Thanks Paul!
Well Done! I'm happy to donate. In the States, the angels from hospice have been there for my family.
Thank you very much. A very worthy cause. Cheers
