Thank you for this. I've been too embarrassed (and poor) to go to the salon with my low density, thinning curls. Been struggling how to remove weight from the crown without chunky layers leaving "holes" in my hair, or the weird U shape in the back. Would love a tutorial some time on an A line bob DIY. My face shape seems to love that look :)
@@sklptdhair, I really want to figure out how to cut my hair myself. One thing that confuses me is when you do the bottom perimeter by pulling the hair from the back to the front, do you turn the hair so that the inner hairs face the mirror, or so that the outer hairs face the mirror? Please let me know if you don’t know what I mean. Thanks!
i love this so much! ♥ i'm also so glad that u mentioned the different thickness on sides of the head, my right side is so much thinner so i have to cut this side bit differently so it matches up :(
This is great thank you! I'd like more videos on cutting and caring for wavy hair please! Whenever I go to the hair dresser they always blowdry and straighten my hair which leaves my hair looking frizzy straight haha this looks so good im going to try it 😄
Helloee Lina thanks for your new upload 👍 i did this today well , yesterday now, thanks for this. it worked out ok on me, my hair is quite thicker but looks alright i still haven't been to a hairdresser since 1st lockdown , just watched you to teach me ☺️ haha, ive saved loads of money but love the freedom of sorting my own head 😂 take care x 😊
So! I have a (suuuubbtttllee) A line?! Bob shoeter in the back longer front but barely honestly - and ive dyed my hair twice this january and its already hair grown back in from years of damaged about ahoulder length & now youre further tempting me! Lmbo! But i know i couldnt do this but the slide cutting layering thing i keep calling it “stacking/layering” when talking to my son ab it and how it makes the hair fall a certain way 😂 the way you explained it has made me understand on a whole different level what id be doing when cutting hair! Yay! Thank u! ❤❤
Thanks for this video! My hair is wavy when cut short but when it’s mid length or long, it’s curly. So weird. Don’t know why but unfortunately I have to switch up my whole hair routine when it’s short and it never stays the same 🤦🏻♀️
Shocked to see you are Thinning out your hair, it would be best to keep it blunt and keep the ends thicker. Also blow drying it flat to your head is emphasising your part and making your hair look thinner than it is
This is such a perfect self cut tutorialllll

Sorry to hear! I'm growing out my hair to do more cuts in the future :)

This style is so beautiful on you! Thank you for demonstrating how you achieve it. ❤

It looks great❤ You think it`ll work on natuarl curly hair (mine is fine, curly in the back, but only wavy/flat in the front)…
Yes just leave it longer than you want because your curls will likely shrink
Gorgeous! Love this bob so much
Thank you! Cheers!

Amazing ma'am nice job 👍😊
Thank you!
Just what I was looking for! Thank you!!❤
You're welcome 😊
Love it!!
I like how you thinned out the back and mentioned using sharp scissors.

I've tried this technique before, but somehow after the layers don't really connect- so i point cut a lot.Any tips?
Point cutting is great. Slide cutting at the nape is what will help connect the layers better.
@@sklptdhair I'm gonna try again soon - I need to watch your video couple more times.Thx
it would end badly in the back if I did it myself🤣
3:17 That's the biggest 2mm I've ever seen
What!! Thinning out hair is not good for anyhair. Not thin, fine or curly
I dont understand why people do this
