@@lithom101 4000 geo to upgrade ur nail
@@nguyenhieu8142 I've found decent farm for geo like 250 a minute if I'm quick. Just equip fragile greed then travel to city of tears then do you know massive red soldiers shields and nail over to right there's around three of them each drop 80 geo then just travel to bench and repeat.
@@lithom101 yeah or get unbreakable greed
Liam Thomas during this path, also go inside the house where there's a bunch a husks. Without the greed charm you get like 40 geo, and they can be killed pretty quick. Should not last more than 10 seconds and you get 40 extra geo

Oh trust me, this was one of the things that absolutely peeved me off the entire time I was playing until I got it. I understand not letting me really explore or even getting the layout, but don't TAUNT ME WITH THE HUMMING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF A SHADE GATE THAT'S JUST CRUEL!
pov: you’ve already played hollow knight but you’re being starved by team cherry
So true
Get of my head!
I'm starving for cherry
112% still here
yep
What I wished I knew about hollow knight is that I would be getting lost every two seconds
Fact
speaking facts over here
That's why the wayward compass is so useful!
With wayward compass you can 1 shot every boss
I never took off the compass for this exact reason.
Another tip I could give is don't freak out if the game traps you somewhere. It wants you to explore it and always has something very important in it
freak out at beast den tho, it’s only reasonable

(I didn't)
If i saw this 6 hours ago i wouldnt have had to delete my 22h save on the game, it locked me in an area while trying to get that dive thingy desolant dive
Tip: Do not stick to one specific charm build all the time, switch them depending on the situation. Also some charms have interesting interactions with each other, so don't be afraid to try new stuff.
I think that also depends on the person. After getting 112% as well as p5 and the Path of Pain, I can say that I still prefer to stick to the same build (Dashmaster, Quick Slash, Unbreakable Strength, Longnail and Nailmaster's Glory) even when it makes things more difficult. Not switching builds while doing radiant bosses, for example, is like a personal challenge that makes them feel a lot more rewarding for me. That's just my personal taste though. Still, I'd recommend trying out a bunch of different challenges with the same build; it's a really interesting way to play the game that might be worth giving a shot.
I switch to the same charm builds for certain situations (Pogo would be Long Nail and the one to the right of it, Boss would be Baldur, Stalwart, Quick Focus and Lifeblood, Normal is Sprintmaster, Wayward compass, quick focus, lifeblood and maybe long nail+the one next to long nail, Mantis Pride?)
@@ranblade8089Mark Of Pride, also my build is always quick slash, strength, shamans Stone and fragile strength for everything, no compass cuz i memorized the map i only use compass for memes.
@@forgettableusername9644 oh thanks! What is strength? Besides Fragile Strength, also are you just a god? Nobody I know can play Hollow Knight with no Compass

Me who played the game without headphones: interesting
@Beeg Yoshi headphones give you the 4k experience
First time I played it late at night before going to sleep, on portable switch with headphones in a dark room. Best game experience ever.
Later, I played it on ps4, on a 49" tv, no headphones, lights on. It was meh.
Second time, I already knew the story so maybe that's why it didn't felt as awesome.

My favorite tactic is to become the drip knight. (Get a ton of stuff) and kill the hollow knight.
If you die and lose your geo (in your shadow) in a place where its probable you'll die for a second time (which means to lose all the geo). The Shaman, to the right of Dirtmouth can bring your shadow to you by giving him a rancid egg. NOTE: rancid eggs are not that common early in the game.
Once you unlock the royal waterways, you can buy more eggs from Tuk.
You actually get your shade back from Confessor Jiji, and she’s a girl 😊
I think I used confessor Jiji once or twice in my first playthrough, but now I never even bother opening her cave. If I die while trying to retrieve my shade it's my own fault for sucking and not paying attention. LOL
My friend is trying to do a No Jiji run
EGG? (skurry reference!)
If you’re down to one mask and don’t want to risk having to go reclaim your shade if you die, just quit the game and save, then reload - you’ll be back at the same bench you would of if you died anyway, but with your geo and shade intact
I would extend this and say that I wish I was told what save warping is. It’s a thing in a lot of metroidvanias, probably any where you Save & Quit, ensuring you don’t lose any of your actual progress such as money or items, but you’ll generally start at whatever the last checkpoint was. This can make so much of Hollow Knight more bearable, especially in cases where you are already familiar with the areas involved, so you know you’re not missing anything by skipping the manual backtracking.
Lost about 2k Geo, after being stuck in city of tears area and selling the artifacts. Wish I knew thisss!
This is a really good one that's not just stating the obvious. Thank you
Something I wish I knew when playing HK is that when you sit on a bench, all the big enemies you killed will respawn! Whether you want to bench extra to kill them again and harvest geo, or whether you want to make sure you have an easy time by not benching and thus not running into the same enemies again is 100% up to whatever you need at that moment. :)
Dang it… I wish I knew that sooner. This whole time I’ve been killing myself to beat the bosses that respawn for more geo hmngnjhghnmhwhs
great tip... thanks... I didn't know that... and I wondered why sometimes the little bosses respawn and sometimes not ^^
This is extremely useful for the delicate flower delivery quest. You can kill all of the enemies along the path from the grave all the way to the Grey Mourner. As long as you don't sit on a bench those enemies won't respawn which will make the trek from the mourner back to the grave that much easier. Some small enemies like crawlids, aspids, vengeflys and squits will still respawn, but none of the larger enemies will.
maybe it be “you can look down” a lot of times i died because i don’t know i can look down
and up, dont forget up
I started the game 3 days ago already have 17hrs playtime (im still in the beginning tho) and I'm thankful that I found it out by myself xD took a few deaths but then I thought hmmm maybe you can look down and yes you can xD
@@noaliasforyou hope u enjoy playing the game, and look forward to hollow knight silksong ;)
@@ohno-95 oh yes I do enjoy it really much I spend hours to discover and enjoy the environment and slowly but steady I make some sweet progress
the game literally tells you it's possible
I have some tips
1: Upgrade your nail with pale ore, it makes the game so much easier
2: You don’t have to make blind jumps! You can look up and down but holding up and down on the controller or keyboard
3: Using spells, it is often better than healing, ending a fight faster can be a better way of surviving than healing!
4: When I first played the game I thought I would have to pay every time I used the stagway so I didn’t open them up, you just need to pay once to open it up and then you can use it whenever you want!
5: This is kind of cheating, but if you’re about to die, then just leave the game and you will be teleported back to your bench with no consequences at all you won’t lose any upgrades or items you’ve collected.
6: Final tip, keep playing the game, it starts slow, but once you get access to the mantis claw the game gets really interesting. Have fun and play Hollow Knight!
defenitely google where to get the pale ore and notches
Personally I color coded my map with the pins so that each pin referred to a specific ability I would need to access that new area and it helped a lot to know which places I could explore after having gotten a new ability.
That's what I'm doing
I did blue for interesting areas, red for grubs, gold for unidentifiable glowy spots and silver for mask shards/soul shards
I bought all the pins but I don't use any lmao
I did exactly that. For example if I didn't have the monarch wings yet, and noticed that I needed it to reach a specific point, I would use the blue pin so that once i get the wings, I could return there and remove the pin
Here's the three most general tips I have to offer (there are so many more I could give):
1) Dodging is generally the best way to play a fight. Each enemy or boss has its own attack patterns, and figuring out how to play those to your advantage is generally not achieved by just facetanking. There are certain enemies and bosses where you can pull it off, but I would only recommend going in nail swinging if you've nothing better to do and dodging isn't proving to be any help. But it's better to dodge an attack without landing a hit than to do some damage while taking a hit yourself.
2) Poke, prod and swing at every available and suspicious surface you can. If you can spare the soul use a desolate dive/descending dark or vengeful spirit/shade soul to smash any floors or walls respectively that looks more cracked than normal. So many secrets in this game are hidden by secret passageways you didn't know about. To this day I'm still finding surprises despite well over a hundred hours in game.
3) Taking breaks is very important to truly enjoy this game, both in game and real life. Benches are for the most part completely safe havens where you can heal, fill out your map more, swap out charms and just in general reflect on where you are at the moment. They are so incredibly useful and many newbies don't rest up as often as would be most beneficial for their immediate gameplay. Similarly this game can get immensely frustrating in many places. Just leaving it for a bit before you give in to the urge to break something important and coming back later can help you to properly appreciate this masterpiece.
I would say that the biggest mistake I've made was: Not marking every godamn suspicious thing I found or an item couldn't get at the time. Since the game is massive, I had to backtrack through the stages constantly, because I've got the memory of a goldfish. :(
A goldfish? Your lucky. I've got the memory of Patrick Star :/
So many times I thought “I’ll definitely remember to come back here” then forgot about it completely.
I can't get over how cool your custom skin is lol
Thank you
I didn't know what it was meant to be at first then I realized
Its amazing!
yes, it was really cool

Don't immediately sell your relics! You don't lose relics upon death, but you can lose your geo! Keep your relics until you need the geo for something. Also, there's no shame in stubbornly assailing the same boss until you beat it, that said, there's no shame in saving a boss fight until you're ready for it. Remember, it's just a game and you've got nothing to lose!
Hollow Knight tip: Take in the sights. It's okay to take things in patiently. There is a lot in the game. You can save "4hour/20hour" completion achievements for omce you know the world of Hollownest.
Don't try to hug Myla even your're sad, there's no hug button...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
You will become sad or depressed at some point in the game. No matter how tough you think you are, a tear will be shed. And deepnest will make you get lost.
Even with a complete map, I still somehow got lost in deepnest again
I thank the lord every day that I was not one of the people to stumble across deepnest by accident
@@trentmager4852 same, I’m glad I found myself in deepnest after beating the mantis lords.
*cries in can't beat hornet*
With the backtracking thing, I would often backtrack to an area only to find out I needed shade dash to get past, so I ended up using the map markers to cover these places so I knew not to explore there yet lol
desolate dive is my favorite
-it gives knockback to enemy
-gives invincibility frame
-can glitched boss
yes I killed the second hornet battle by desolate dive when we both in the corner, the knockback glitched hornet to wall and killin her, it also work with lost kin and enemy that have the same type of body frame
I cheesed both hornet 2 and lost kin c: I agree though desolate dive/descending dark is fun to use
@@asjkgfd yep, that move is very op against small figure enemy
Why did no one mention this? ✅ *Huge HK Survival Tip:* Did you know that you can save *all your progress,* fully heal and instantly teleport to the last bench *all at the same time* by just Start (or Esc) > Quit to Menu? 🤔 This single tip can prevent permanent Geo loss and a lot of backtracking and was incredibly helpful for me 🙂 Hope it can help you too in very dangerous situations!
Very underrated tip! Saved my ass a dozen times with bosses where my shade would be hanging around close to the boss and the boss fight would start before I finished off my shade. Scary situation!
True. Once I got the dream gate, it is so much easier to get back to the boss
Holy crap dude!!! Thank you!! I just started this game and honestly super frustrated but now I can enjoy the game more with this tip!
If u think youre going to die with a frafile charm go quit XD you can save your 200 geo.
I think another good one to remember is that it's possible to dream nail some of the stationary enemies and unkillable bugs for free soul, too. The garpedes in deepnest, for example. So I would encourage newer players to try dream nailing anything with eyes.
I’m 90% sure that tip was in there at some point like mid way though
@@RelyeaGaming I think it was just a general tip about dream nailing enemies. I don't think there was anything about the weird and random things you can actually dream nail. Or about being able to dream nail dead bugs.
Or without eyes
what about No Eyes though...
Buy the Lumafly Lantern relatively early. You will need it for the darker areas of the game, which you can wander into quite easily.
I fell into deepnest before I had the Lumafly Lantern and thought it was supposed to be that dark and had a horrid time trying to get through and get back out.
"Try dodging instead of attacking"
Tell that to the Grimmchild.
In Fog Canyon 🤣 Their step siblings The Weaverlings too!
tip: equip the soul catcher and soul twister together. this will earn you more soul, and will consume less soul while casting spells such as vengeful spirit and desolate dive
9:36 50+ hours of gameplay and I am just learning this now
100 hours of gameplay and I'm learning most of these now
I accidentally learned that tip when I was teting to use vs
Hell, I thought I found all hidden areas and turns out, there one near the GP stag station.
50 hours it took me 200+ to figure it out
Quick story, after I finished the mantis lord bossfight I decided to explore a bit with my newfound attack range and mantis claw, then I wound up with 2000 geo, so I was like "great, I can finally buy the lantern!", so I got the lantern, then went to the first place I could think of, being the dark room to the far right of crossroads, the one with the scratchy noises. I was expecting just a small segment, but I wound up in an entirely different area and got hella lost, then I managed to lose my way even further to the sacred grounds, and that's how what I thought would be a small couple minute exploration before I closed the game turned into me getting something I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to get at this point.
This game is so cool!!
I just fell down there to, and thinking that was too early😅
It took me far too long to realize that you can cancel crystal dashes
That is a good one!

I absolutely love map markers. I cleared out the shop of everything and all the markers got used to the point that at a few moments I needed more but had nowhere to get them. I use them specifically for points I can't access because I either don't have an ability or am missing an item and boss battles I need to get back to. And if you do this, keep in mind what colour you use for what or you will get confused and spend a lot of time roaming without actually doing anything because of forgetting what thing you need for where. I used gold for boss fights just so it would remind me every time I looked at the map.
Also, abuse Nail Arts when you have them, especially in the Colosseum.
One of the charms that saved me was quick focus in salubras shop, since it opens up more healing opportunities and makes losing health far less dangerous (but not trivial).
When I finish a successful boss fight, I watch other videos of players defeating the same boss, you discover new ways to attack and dodge
Also, get used to dream nailing everything you find (like corpses, objects or npcs, not enemies), it helps so much with the lore and it gives some really cool details, like the corpses on the failed tramway.
I came to realize after once I obtain Descending Dark that it plays a big role in this game. Its a game changer when fighting Pantheons. I was always afraid of using spells at that time. Don't be afraid to use spells. Use them well and they will help you.
Edit: MR. C Gaming already said this. I was typing while I was watching to full video lmao. I'll just leave this here.

This is one of my tips:
If you get to the point where you start finding artefacts (the ones you can trade for money with relic seeker lemm) never spend them all right away. IF you happen to die, you still keep the relics and it could bee a great geo boost.
18:48 "Cornifier". That sound like a mage that turns people into Corn.
I definitely agree on the pogo, it's a mechanic that is never explained and it's required in a couple places. When I reached the purple mushrooms in fungal waste in my first playthrough I thought I needed some special ability to progress. Since it seemed everything else was also blocked, I had to look it up and it's how I figured I could pogo on them (and that pogo was a thing at all)
hehehehaw
Thanks for the tips! Here's one of my own: Try and sit on a bench before a bossfight that way, if you die (very likely) you won't be as frustrated!
One charm combo I've stuck with for most of the game and has helped alot is grubsong, soul catcher, lifeblood heart, thorns of agony, wayward compass
I really like to get grubsong & weaversong as soon as possible to have in build, except for fog canyon those little legged critters got to go! 🤣
08:00 When I started playing, I immediately fell in love with the world and atmosphere. But I was also afraid the game would be over too quickly, so I tried to not explore too much and leave rooms for later... Before Hollow Knight I played Machinarium (an awesome but rather short game), maybe that's why I had this feeling. Turns out that this game is just huge! So don't be afraid to explore as much as you want. It won't be over soon, I promise.
I played about 90 hours my first playthrough. Was really impressed with it.
For real though:
The need for wayward compass can be bypassed entirely if you buy the bench pins. Then, you always know what bench you are at, and you can track your progress in each new room if you regularly look at the map.
Dont u want us to buy from your wife ?

I think the best tip I could give is to know that when you’re overcharmed attacks deal double damage! 😭
i had absolutely no idea that breakable wall by the stag station was there you learn something new everyday
Another tip: if you've died in a difficult area and you don't want to go back and risk dying again before you've found your shade, you can visit Confessor Jiji in Dirtmouth and give them a rancid egg, and they'll summon your shade to you. Requires a simple key to get through the door the first time.
honestly, my favorite charm loadout for playing in general (with 9 slots) is wayward compass, dashmaster, sprintmaster, mark of pride, and weaversong/lifeblood heart
There was a boss fight I died to a lot. The Mantis Lords. Here's a tip. There's a lifeblood cocoon in the top left corner of their boss room. I didn't know about it till I looked up a vid on all lifeblood locations. USE IT if you feel you need that extra health when facing them.
I got mantis lords first try with my exploring charm setup c:
They can also be skipped over until you have some upgrades too. You can stay on the wall a lot too & fire off vengeful spirits/shade souls at them when they spawn in the wall opposite of you - if you stay at least midway up the wall it keeps you safe from them on the ground, gives you space to avoid their projectiles & also means only one will usually spawn/be on screen attacking at a time once you've killed the first one.
My friend started blind like 3 days ago and by yesterday in the nighthe was only missing monomon, its nice to see him understand everything by himselfe... but not the lore lmao, he knows about silksong, and he thinks silksong will be the answer to "why is everything so dark and dead", i didnt wanted to tell him there is all the neccesary lore he just needs to find it until he at least defeats HK
Finally like 300 hours into the game I have started to use a decent amount of spells
They're definitely good when gotten used to
I started using more spells today, it’s way more fun and insane dmg
Yeah
Mixing spells with nail is way more fun than doing nail only basically
Don't immediately sell artifacts to the vendor in City of Tears... I used them as a backup stash of Geo in case I lost my current stash by dying while my shade was still present.
You can also use them as a backup geo stash for when you need to spend big money at vendors, especially the Nailsmith.
You’re channel has helped me out so much of it didn’t exist I would still be at the crossroads now I have the infected crossroads
I feel like a good tip is finding out what charms to use in a boss fight, I just beat that infected husk boss and I used Thorns of Agony, Dreamshield and Soul Catcher and also never charge in on a boss if you know if it will attack sooner, keep safe don’t rush
Late tip addition; dont let articles about its difficulty discourage you.
There are definitely some difficult parts and yes the punishment for dying multiple times in a row can seem overly harsh...
But overall the game is more a "solid medium" in terms of difficulty.
Just take your time and learn enemy/boss behaviors/mechanics, you'll be fine and this game is amazing! Dont miss out because someone overhyped the difficulty!
What would you say is a really difficult game then?
@@nm9688 I've died more times to Gabriel in Ultrakill (on standard difficulty, not even violent) than radiant markoth, and Gabriel isn't even the hardest boss in Ultrakill so... Ultrakill?
But that isn't really the point; I do know of people who haven't even tried HK because they've fallen victim to the stupid meme of "dark souls of platformers", thinking HK is some ridiculously hard masochistic bs, when really all HK has in common with souls games is a resting spot acting like a save/respawn point and dropping your currency on death.
HK does indeed have some difficulty spikes and some of the bosses are devilish... But I've watched some streamers who only have average skill still clear p5 so the point of my tip is for people to not let articles that overblow the difficulty stop them from playing the game.
@@Mennenth HK was my first combat game and I'm enjoying it so far as a total noob, already reached mid/late game
One of the best ways to find out something new when you're stuck is just to look at your map and find every single exit you haven't been through, and check each new room out. If you can't reach it yet, and need another ability, just put down a marker there, so you remember to go back to it later when you've obtained another movement ability, and maybe you'll be able to get through.
Definetely the pin one, I used the red ones to mark places where I think I needed a new ability to access it or something like that
It took me a 3 weeks to get out of the crossroads because I thought it was the entire game. Once I made it into green path I realized how much more beautiful and huge this game is. Been playing for about two years now. Still play the game after beating it a million times.
I started playing Hollow Knight a couple months ago. I thought it would be easy enough...
I died like 10 times in about half an hour of playing :’)
I did NOT think Forgotten Crossroads would be that hard. I knew Hollow Knight was extremely hard, but not “failing the tutorial-first-area” hard. Or maybe it was just me with almost no previous gaming experience (I don’t really play combat-based games, the onky things i played before trying Hollow Knight was Pokemon shield, Minecraft on creative mode and Slime rancher :^)
same though. I have 0 experience in gaming and took 1 hour to reach Dirtmouth. And my laptop was on fire 👍 one day when I have a better laptop I'll practice more!
When jumping on the Purple Bouncy things, if you are struggling PLEASE TRY The Charm "Steady Body" as it will stop the Purple thing pushing you off to the side surprises me none of the "Influencer's" haven't mentioned this😁🇬🇧👍
"try not to look stuff up"
me who played while having a guide with me the whole time: Interesting.
Looking things up isn't a bad thing.
But why?
The tip about dodging rather than attacking. You find that each boss will probably have exactly only one optimal window time to attack for like 1 to 3 strikes and rinse and repeat dodging patterns again before the next same window opens and Instead of attacking you probably can heal once with quick focus. Also after a certain amount of damage the boss will puase for a second to catch their breath, this happens like 3 times and is a sign of the progression of the fight, these are the moments you should heal if needed.
YALL PLS USE UR MARKERS INSTEAD OF SAYING: ILL COME BACK TO THAT LATER, USE COLOR CORDANATED ONES IF YOU WANT, THE SILVER EXXPENCIVE ONES FOR IMPORTANT AREAS, RED FOR BOSSES ECT- Y O U. W I L L. F O R G E T. I PROMISE.
My tip would be to find a safe area and really learn to control the knight, things like double jump then pogo then dash. Movement is usually the key to beating the bosses.
Tip: For anyone late to the bandwagon like me. You can utilize bench saves & save quitting to the main menu to help with map traversal. When you load back in, you’ll load to the last bench you saved on. Also can help to get you out of sticky situations or avoid losing your shade in less desirable spots.
Hollow Knight is one of those games where I wish I could experience it for the first time again.
I bought hollow knight on a whim in late 2022… I live under a rock and didn’t realize the massive community and popularity. Now I’m super hyped for silk song and I’m sorry for those who have been waiting so long for silk song.
The most useful thing for me is that you can pogo enemies and slash upward :v took me around 10 or 20hrs to realize that you can do that instead of slashing forward, and you can pogo off spike too.
Playing this game is one of the best decision i've made, take your time and enjoy the game.
I got 112% after 80hrs, but pantheon 5 maybe too much for me :D

What are the crystal things he has instead of masks, and side note, who else thought that colesseum 2 was kinda hard. I went there early on and got smacked.
It's a modded game. Most speed runners or long time players play on modded versions. Which you can add custom sprites. They also have custom game modes like infected tag/speed runner vs hunters and everything you can think of. The modded game allows you to noclip/teleport etc etc. Which is great for speed running because you can practice certain areas over and over without having to walk back and fourth all the time and can just teleport instantly.
In boss fights, never stay in the corners. The bosses can wombs combo you. I learned that the hard way
tip: most enemies don't respawn until you sit at a bench. there are some that will respawn every time you enter the room, but most will stay dead after you kill them. keep this in mind if you want to farm geo, or if you really don't like a specific enemy.
1:03 AYOOOO THAT’S MY COMMENT

Yes
Very famous
11 thousand people famous
As someone who played all of the souls games before playing hollow knight I was use to the shade system it's the blood stane system+ a fight
These videos were really my savior during my first play through
Glad they helped!
@@RelyeaGaming it was the only way I could progress some of the time 😂
One of the best things ever is taking your time even if you dont understand what you are even doing and getting something and suddenly everything is connected and you feel that +100 progression
My tips for those in Crystal Peak:
Make sure to have the charm Soul Catcher and Grubsong, there is A LOT of environmental dangers.
You can hit the crystal spikes that those flying bugs shoot at you, send it back at them!
You can kill the Laser Crawlers with spells.
Already been to the Royal Waterways and have the Defenders Crest? If you haven't woken up the Crystal Guardian, just use the charm and stand next to it without waking it up, it will still do damage!
You know those fliping platforms? You can downslash them to make them flip back so you can stand on them again, but it's only temporary.
Weaverlings will take care of him too without waking him up. They'll kill him off & free the bench if you can be patient, or you can use defender's crest too to help take him out quicker & not wake him up. I think I saw someone use desolate dive/descending dark to take him down without waking him but I'm not sure if that's legit or not, haven't tried. Also curious to know if having defender's crest & glowing womb equipped with weaversong would take him out passively or if the explosions would actually wake him 🤔
Much like the bouncing mushrooms, I wish I knew that you can perform crystal dashes on a wall, I had to look it up and it was painful
I highly recommend opening up Stag Stations. Essentially, you can travel between locations a lot faster than just walking there
If you're afraid of dying and losing your Geo, buy/find a small key and unlock the door on the graveyard to the right of dirtmouth, the dude there can summon your shadow for a rancid egg (yes, that's what they are for), if you summon your shadow this way it will not attack you.
A big one for me was that being able to save and quit and then go back in puts you back at a bench and it is a total lifesaver. Dont get greedy, just save and quit if you are low on health ESPECIALLY in steel soul
"all the things you can spend geo on is useful."
Heavy blow: allow me to introduce myself
"Spikes in difficulty that will humble you."
Me: Flashback to facing Troupe Leader Grimm 50 plus times.
17:15 - when I was playing, I had a dedicated note on my phone in order to help me keep track of what to do next and challenges I wasn't ready for yet.
Tip: When exploring Deepnest for the first time, be well prepared. Enemies are everywhere and can come about at a moments notice. Also- When you kill what you *think* is a 'simple' enemy? *Run*
As far and as fast as you can away from them or avoid killing them. _You cannot trust the corpses either._
Me who is a noob who lost over 6 k geo:” finally I get good tips”
You can sneak up behind the sleeping Stalking Devout in deepnest and dreamnail them, without alerting them to your prescense, and refill your soul meters and lives when you're low or about to die
that is a good one!
"don t rush the boss"
moss knight, hive knight, broken vessel, hornet - looking at my knight staring menacingly with full nail build
I’m just getting started with the game and I wanna say this was a lotta help
this feels like late night tv shows... Relyea's the star and the comments are the special guests
The locked door behind the well can help a lot
I didn't realize until 15 hours in that your soul container is broken sometimes because your shade is alive (I never lost too much money, so I never felt the immediate need to kill the shade). and you'll never fill it above 66% if the container is "broken"
The knight do be looking stylish with the sunglasses and the nice mustache
Tip: in deepnest, don’t feel trash because of constant deaths and getting your cheeks slapped from everywhere. You are not the problem, deepnest is.
Loooove this!! Learn to dodge boss attacks first. May sound obvious but I get so focused on getting hits in that I think my number of attempts is a lot higher than it needs to be because it takes me longer to figure out how to dodge AND hit.
[Chuckles] I already know all of these
Not knowing that you can pogo on those mushrooms was the biggest missing piece of information that hampered my first playthrough early on. I had to get a friend to tell me you can do that.
You’ll eventually acquire a Dream Nail weapon. Use it on living creatures to fill your soul. But do not use it on “living” dreamers unless they clearly look or sound like they’re ready for a fight. All dream nail attacks are permanent and Team Cherry likes to break your heart on multiple occasions.
