      This is a fun one, we’ll get it figured out. Thanks Jason 👊

    It's wild what you find from a system that was otherwise "running fine" one leg gets wobbly and then you uncover the house of cards

      Yep, problems have a way of presenting themselves. 😎

    found your channel i love it. at a risk of sounding dumb is this a small part to a massive air conditioning system my local hospital has a massive set of evapco towers on a two story standalone building always wondered what it was for

      Thanks for asking, yes these are the cooling towers for a couple of Centrifugal chillers (200 & 300 Ton) that cool many commercial buildings

    Thanks for the video! Seems like we are going to see more of these Dork chillers. I'm not a fan of JCI

    York ymc2 like to see as cold of condenser water as you can get 55 or 60 degrees but you are in florida

    Great Video. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice weekend. May I ask, Which's Refrigerant this chiller is using R22 or R410 A ? and second is: There are 2 sight glass , is those sight glass show refrigerant or water ?

    • @subcoolHVAC
      @subcoolHVAC  3 місяці тому +1

      Thanks, it’s R134a refrigerant. That is refrigerant seen in the sight glass.

    I would of liked to see where condenser liquid level setpoint was at

    • @subcoolHVAC
      @subcoolHVAC  3 місяці тому +1

      It was set at 38% not sure why, ran out of time troubleshooting… returning soon

    • @jasonjohnsonHVAC
      @jasonjohnsonHVAC 3 місяці тому

      @subcoolHVAC we have some YK's we had to adjust to 42% to get them to run right and not loose the liquid seal

    • @subcoolHVAC
      @subcoolHVAC  3 місяці тому +1

      I think 42% will do it. My access level wouldn’t allow me to change it. York and their Access Manager control 👎

      @@subcoolHVAC I hat that access manager crap. I have the passwords for the ones they don't have their meathooks sunk into

    My good sir. What flashlight is that? And how’s the battery life?

    • @subcoolHVAC
      @subcoolHVAC  3 місяці тому +1

      Blackfire BBM6412 , rechargeable battery has good life, 2 levels of brightness is spotlight or lantern mode. Magnet is strong 💪

    Are these pumps for cold storage industrial buildings?

      @@subcoolHVAC oh cool it’s interesting too see the different types of air conditioners, I work in a cold storage facility that’s cool the freezer with anhydrous ammonia that stuff is crazy scary

      Never worked with Ammonia systems, toured a plant during apprenticeship many years ago. Impressive 👍
