In addition to this tutorial, you can enable nanite in the tree mesh + preserve area. It gets rid of the LOD and looks much better at distance now.

Great series and very useful. Here's something to think about for a future fix that I think I need help on. The rocks generated are created under the water and are fine but once you apply the snow texture to them, you now have rocks under the water with snow on them. With my little understanding of Unreal so far the way I *think* I would fix this is to have a blocking volume for the snowy rocks and exclude them from under the water (same way for the trees) then create a duplicate volume for the underwater rocks (with a duplicate rock without the snow) and a duplicate blocking volume. The new blocking volume will do the opposite of what the other one does and doesn't generate the regular rocks above the water but does generate them under the water. Might be a simpler way to do this without having to duplicate the blocking volumes and procedural rocks but I'm not sure what that is. Thanks!

Great ideas Bill and, yes, I would approach it the same way as you.
The other way you could handle it would be to paint a different texture under the lake (without snow) and then the underwater rocks will blend with this non-snowy texture.

@@unrealitybites763 Great. Would be nice if you added this in a future video. Just saw the update you did for the lighting and was hoping you were going to do it there.

Great Video! Any recommendations for a Spruce pack that is supported on 5.1? I go to this point and realized I have the newer version and cant get this pack.

In step when you adding pack, choose option "show all projects" choose your project and then choose version 5.0 of the pack. In this way you have pack in your project 5.1
