This is honestly one of the best tutorial from Unreal I have ever seen. Instant subscribe, keep it up man!
Thanks! Great! I will!
same!!
I can't believe I finally found a tutorial that not only actually worked all the way through but had someone speaking clearly and actually EXPLAIN WHY HE WAS DOING CERTAIN THINGS. You are like a dream come true on this platform. Finally!
Wow. Thanks!
my dude i have been freaking crying and trying to fix issues with not being able to paint for over 7hours!!! thank you for this amazing and simple to follow guide! truly a savior of my day!
You're welcome!! Glad you liked it!
I've watched a ton of UE tutorials and this is the best I've ever seen. You are the ONLY person to actually explain information like material instances vs normal materials. Everyone else just skips over that kind of thing, assuming people have learned it when it's actually critical info beginners are missing!! Definitely subscribing!!! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that you found my Unreal Engine tutorials to be the best you've ever seen. I'm glad that you like it! Good luck with UE!
Yeah, this is the one video that got me through the first barrier of UE5 developent : I got my landscape , now how do I make it look nice.... Follow this tutorial... just make it an 8 layer (just copy paste) instead of 3 layers (for later, you will thank me).... Thank you EZ unreal, your tutorial is 1000 hours of Bob Ross in 11 minutes, I can now paint any landscape to make it look the way I want ... ALso, added tiling for every material , not just 1 for all 8.. Love sent keep doing what ur doing
Ohh, thnx for your kind support, glad you liked it!
THANK YOU. I've been bashing my head against the wall for hours and you got me up and running in 30 minutes.
Glad I could help

This is perfect, I'm just up to the painting part of the scene so this video has helped so much :) Thank you for covering every step from the start to end, and not assuming someone knows something that might seem obvious to someone who has done it before.
Thanks! Glad you like my videos

Youre the best! not only you video is high quallity, but you explained everything while most tutorials just skips the parts.
And, if I may ask, how do you remove repeating pattern with texture, they do no blend so nicely, it looks like how do i say copy and paste

Thank you man, So Much
You're welcome! Glad it helps
Just subscribed. Man, this tutorial is amazing. Its answered most of my questions of how I can paint a terrain with multiple textures. I have one question about all of this...
How is it possible to get rid of the tiling pattern that happens? Is there a way to randomise things so I don't have to scale up the textures and therefore lose quality in resolution?
Many thanks. Absolutely wonderful man! :)
Thanks man! I'm trying to find the way to find out the best possible way to fix tiling issue. Definately will be one of my future videos.
@@ezunreal Can't wait man. Definitely an issue that needs sorting and then this will be ultimate! :)
You should make a tutorial on making tutorials! Really well done... thank you!
Thanks! Glad you liked it. And glad you like my tutorial style :D nice day
Thank you so much! This tutorial was very easy to follow along with, and I even adjusted for my own needs. I just have one question because I have no clue how to do it as a beginner. How do you scroll/pan the hand selector when creating materials? I'm at a complete loss with that, I just keep dragging the hand as if I'm selecting things to create the dashed square. But thank you again. You've been a big help. Thumbs up and subscribed.
sry for the late response, if you're new to the engine, this can be a little tricky to get the hang of at first.
To use the hand selector, simply click and hold down the middle mouse button (scroll wheel) and drag your mouse in any direction. This will allow you to pan around your material graph and view different parts of it. If you find yourself accidentally selecting things instead of panning around the graph, don't worry! Try holding down the Alt key while using the hand selector. This will allow you to pan without accidentally selecting anything.
if this help let me know. cheers!
@ezunreal it's okay, thank you for responding back to me! I got it and I was able to do it. Thank you once again 😁
Nice tutorial
Glad you think so!
Nice tutorial,
Thank you! Cheers!
HEROOO!!! LEARNED SO MUCH!! Only one question, the tiling looks boxed, it is a seamless texture Quixel, but the texure repeats always exactly the same, there is no rotation. Do you have a video or solution on how ican fix this?
----
This was a great tutorial that fitted with my project, I am new to Unreal but learning very fast simple basic stuf, including the comments on 6:42 and on how to use instances, in a real paying project. AWESOME, subscribed hope you will get more recorgnizion bro
