Facts. My neck's been fucked for about 10 years now. I used to be a goddamn wildman with my long hair, but nowadays I get vertigo and neck pain after headbanging for one damn song.
The Kings strike again. I’ve seen them 11 times and I actually have whiplash for 3 to 4 days after every time. My neck is fucked up for real. And I can’t wait to do it again!
forget metallica shows for a second , this is hands down one of the best concerts ever fucking given by ANY band in the history of music , i was 4 years old when they gave this concert, i would KILL to have been able to attend that show , this shit is beyond legendary
if there is one thing cliff couldnt do that Jason was doing was slaying down raw growls and sing like Lemmy. As well as backing vocals like Cliff was good and one of the best back up vocalists of that time but Jason was on another level thats a point why their live shows were always great having James as the metalgod on stage and Jason in the background absolutely killing it whenever it was possible
Bruh! You should watch the Concert in Seattle,Wa 1989 out the Box Set called Metallica Live Shit: BINGE&PURGE! Best they ever played and sounded IT'S AWESOME!!!
That was at the San Diego Sports Arena. Holds about 15,000 people but it looks bigger on the video. I was there for that show. They played for over 2 hours. Best concert ever. My neck hurt for 3 days after. Metallica!!
🤘 METALLICA 🤘 So, your neck got sore from 5 min song ? How do you think we feel, I have been banging my head for about 37 years to Metallica, Maiden, Megadeth, Sabbath, Pantera . . .as well as many more ! You're supposed to feel the music, as well as hear it ! And, you will surely 'feel' it, many days after seeing them live in concert ! Bruises, bones out of order, blood, and lotsa sweat ! Although this first album, didn't have a lot of high end production, it's crunchy, got some growl, and best reflects their roots. A couple other songs from Kill 'Em All to consider : Seek & Destroy Hit the Lights & my favorite from this album, The Four Horsemen Rest yo neck, looking forward to more content from Metallica & Iron Maiden, as well as Megadeth. Eventually, we will get some Black Sabbath ? Asking for a friend... And the millions of Sabbath fans 🤘
The name of the song says it all doesn’t it! I’ve been listening to this song since about 1985. I’m much older now but I still can’t help going nuts when it comes on!
This song came out in 1983. To put it in perspective Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" came out in 1983 along with other songs such as Duran Duran "Hungry Like a Wolf", Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This", and Prince "1999". There's a reason why their first album was called KILL EM ALL! With songs like this on it (and it's not even their fastest or craziest song on it) they got your attention and made you forget about anything else because no one had ever heard anything remotely like this before it.
Watching you discover/react to great classic metal is so awesome 👍👍👍 You need to get on Tool and Sepultura - The Pot for Tool and Desperate Cry or Dead Embryonic Cells for Sepultura are good starting points 👍
Fun's fact: That was Kurt Cobain's favourite song from Metallica!!! And, this was also them first single EVER released!!! Jason Newsted (them bassist at the time) is singing there two verses and choruses!!!! Original song is much more slow, and since Damaged Justice Tour they were playing it that fast, probably to The Black Album Tour
You think they had played for hours at this point they came back on after this you should reacted to his Drum solo in this show I think they played for 2and ahalf hours
Oh , i got a good one, react to the album version of Metallica's "Trapped Under Ice", off of Ride the Lightning, its a KICK ASS tune, you wont be dissappointed!!👍🎸🥁
Hey, if you get some time, listen to the original album version of this song. You can hear it a little clearer, it just makes me enjoy it more, but we all know the "live" stuff is good but they usually play that one so fast live, its hard to hear how it actually goes.👋😄👍☮ Keep up the awesome reactions, cant wait for more George Carlin!!
Bro kill em all still for me best album from metallica.... I think about your nek bro.. So I suggest you to listen pearl jam even flow live MTV 91.92....or black unplugged...
If you haven’t checked out “spit out the bone” off their latest album hardwired then you need to. Try a different live version or the studio version of whiplash because this version is not doing the song justice.
this is one of the main reasons people miss Jason (bassist from 1986-2000). He could fill in verses on vocals no problem
This is why a lot of us older white guys now have neck problems. Advanced headbanging 101!
Facts. My neck's been fucked for about 10 years now. I used to be a goddamn wildman with my long hair, but nowadays I get vertigo and neck pain after headbanging for one damn song.
Some of us girls too.
True facts

The Kings strike again. I’ve seen them 11 times and I actually have whiplash for 3 to 4 days after every time. My neck is fucked up for real. And I can’t wait to do it again!
I'm telling you, you don't need caffeine in the morning all you need is this 😂

This concert was in San Diego

The name of the song says it all doesn’t it! I’ve been listening to this song since about 1985. I’m much older now but I still can’t help going nuts when it comes on!
🎼 Bang your head against the stage like you never did before, make it ring, make I bleed, make it really soar!
