this is one of the main reasons people miss Jason (bassist from 1986-2000). He could fill in verses on vocals no problem
This is why a lot of us older white guys now have neck problems. Advanced headbanging 101!
Facts. My neck's been fucked for about 10 years now. I used to be a goddamn wildman with my long hair, but nowadays I get vertigo and neck pain after headbanging for one damn song.
Some of us girls too.
True facts
I'm a young white guy but have neck problem also!
headbang with this since 1996 age 8 lol
I got a tooth knocked out in the mosh pit to that song, great reaction my friend.
The Kings strike again. I’ve seen them 11 times and I actually have whiplash for 3 to 4 days after every time. My neck is fucked up for real. And I can’t wait to do it again!
He'll yeah. Old school Metallica. When they were the shit🔥🔥👍👍
And now they just shit, especially Lars.
I remember when Kill em all came out, I wore the grooves off of that album.
I'm telling you, you don't need caffeine in the morning all you need is this 😂
and that's Jason Newstead, the bass player singing a lot of that
Hell yeah!! Battery Live 1989 is another headbanger. Love old school Metallica!
My NAMESAKE!.... The first SUPERFAST song I ever heard right here! 1st album, 1983, mullet-mexican surfing and smoking! Don't ⏸ as much, Swaggy
This concert was in San Diego
if there is one thing cliff couldnt do that Jason was doing was slaying down raw growls and sing like Lemmy. As well as backing vocals like Cliff was good and one of the best back up vocalists of that time but Jason was on another level thats a point why their live shows were always great having James as the metalgod on stage and Jason in the background absolutely killing it whenever it was possible
Bruh! You should watch the Concert in Seattle,Wa 1989 out the Box Set called Metallica Live Shit: BINGE&PURGE! Best they ever played and sounded IT'S AWESOME!!!
I remember when this album came out. I grew up with that.
Keep on rocking, brother!
Definitely need to react to Seek And Destroy.
subscribed cause you get how i get listening to this, its contagious, and not in the pandemic way
forget metallica shows for a second , this is hands down one of the best concerts ever fucking given by ANY band in the history of music , i was 4 years old when they gave this concert, i would KILL to have been able to attend that show , this shit is beyond legendary
🤘 METALLICA 🤘
So, your neck got sore from 5 min song ? How do you think we feel, I have been banging my head for about 37 years to Metallica, Maiden, Megadeth, Sabbath, Pantera . . .as well as many more ! You're supposed to feel the music, as well as hear it !
And, you will surely 'feel' it, many days after seeing them live in concert ! Bruises, bones out of order, blood, and lotsa sweat !
Although this first album, didn't have a lot of high end production, it's crunchy, got some growl, and best reflects their roots. A couple other songs from Kill 'Em All to consider :
Seek & Destroy
Hit the Lights
& my favorite from this album,
The Four Horsemen
Rest yo neck, looking forward to more content from Metallica & Iron Maiden, as well as Megadeth. Eventually, we will get some Black Sabbath ? Asking for a friend... And the millions of Sabbath fans 🤘
And some slipknot?
That was at the San Diego Sports Arena. Holds about 15,000 people but it looks bigger on the video. I was there for that show. They played for over 2 hours. Best concert ever. My neck hurt for 3 days after. Metallica!!
18 Metallica shows and counting for me. Love watching these videos!
The name of the song says it all doesn’t it! I’ve been listening to this song since about 1985. I’m much older now but I still can’t help going nuts when it comes on!
I still have the dvd of this show
🎼 Bang your head against the stage like you never did before, make it ring, make I bleed, make it really soar!
This song came out in 1983. To put it in perspective Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" came out in 1983 along with other songs such as Duran Duran "Hungry Like a Wolf", Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This", and Prince "1999". There's a reason why their first album was called KILL EM ALL! With songs like this on it (and it's not even their fastest or craziest song on it) they got your attention and made you forget about anything else because no one had ever heard anything remotely like this before it.
UNBELIEVABLE!
Welcome to the family, bro!
Watching you discover/react to great classic metal is so awesome 👍👍👍
You need to get on Tool and Sepultura - The Pot for Tool and Desperate Cry or Dead Embryonic Cells for Sepultura are good starting points 👍
Call of Ktulu. Sorry wrong spelling above
Yep gotta be ready !
AMAZING🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
We are One big happy family... The Metallica Family...
That was awesome!
if you really want to see young James, look up this song live at the Metro (Chicago) 1983
the best concert they've had other than 89' and 91' moscow
Fun's fact: That was Kurt Cobain's favourite song from Metallica!!! And, this was also them first single EVER released!!! Jason Newsted (them bassist at the time) is singing there two verses and choruses!!!!
Original song is much more slow, and since Damaged Justice Tour they were playing it that fast, probably to The Black Album Tour
Very cool, man
Now you know
1983
Rocky III
Whiplash
The year Amerrica Kicked asss
This was at the San Diego Sports Arena.
Please check out Avatar - Hail The Apocalypse, or Bloody Angel/Smells Like a Freakshow, or any other song from their Wacken 2015 set).
Totally forgot that James would play a solo behind Kirk in the first half of that section.
I just hit that bell..
BRAZIL 🇧🇷
U must watch this song live at seattle 89..
Swaggy bro u should get some more maiden on the go: the clansman from Rio is a banger 🤙🏽
Up The Irons 🤘 🤘
You will have to put a sweat band around your headphones like Lars in the recording studio
MetallicA are imortal!
🤟
Kill em All. Best album ever
You think they had played for hours at this point they came back on after this you should reacted to his Drum solo in this show I think they played for 2and ahalf hours
OMG you really need to react to Metallica Metal Militia
Hey, if you get some time, listen to the original album version of this song. You can hear it a little clearer, it just makes me enjoy it more, but we all know the "live" stuff is good but they usually play that one so fast live, its hard to hear how it actually goes.👋😄👍☮ Keep up the awesome reactions, cant wait for more George Carlin!!
You should do Fight Fire with Fire
Metallica - Justice Medley ( live mix )
Call of Katulu Metallica
🤙👍
Watch The Evolution of Whiplash: ua-cam.com/video/xHwAQ5lqi2M/v-deo.html
For Whom the Bell Tolls-Day On the Green

Crusty 2000 bro, best crusty demons

Im happy youre digging Metallica,bro!
Did he read the name whiplash
When you get metallicalized
Something different, Metallica with orchestra
“S&M Sad but True”
Too bad you didn't do Whiplash Seattle 89. They kill it even more there
This guy pauses at the worst times lol
If you haven’t checked out “spit out the bone” off their latest album hardwired then you need to. Try a different live version or the studio version of whiplash because this version is not doing the song justice.
Gret cd and dvd : live shit
WHY WHY ,can't Metallica ever sound good live? In the studio in the 80s they sounded awesome but to be honest I've never heard them sound good live, why is that? Did they have studio musicians playing for them? I don't know.
what about their live performance doesn’t sound decent to you?
Here goes Dave Mustaine again
Whahaha you're very funny!!!
Bulshit. Run dmc
Something different, Metallica with orchestra
“S&M Sad but True”
