Bro 😂 this actually helped me when I was looking for suit combos.I got everything for around $1200 ( I already have nice dress shoes and boots) Finally got a job where what I look like matters Steve Harvey wasn’t lying 😂 it wasn’t till my man here visualized it that I understood
It’s very important to mention shoes since that is a key player in this. The shoes ties it all together. If the shoes don’t match, you will look slightly odd. Black shoes do go with almost everything and so do the brown shoes.
The accessories are the icing on the cake. Steve is giving the essentials. Shoe, belt and true variation is preference. Realistically you can wear black shoes and belt with every combination and be fine. You don’t necessarily have to wear a tie unless you’re going for the full business look.
Glad I stumbled onto this video. Seeing it done makes a world of difference. They need to literally have him do all the combinations in a video and my fashion challenged (and don’t really care to be deep into fashion, but just as far as suits go) ass will be set for life 😂😂😂!!!
Shoes and belt always same color. The color you choose should be light/dark brown or black 99% of the time. A white or creme belt can work but in very specific combos and you will wear them so rarely its not even worth it. I hope this helps, it's barely intermediate.
@@elneserato3766 it’s not a lot considering they last a lifetime. With suits if they don’t fit you can even adjust them with most clothes like T-shirt’s and jeans that no longer fit most people just throw it away suits are more investments . And how you look correlates with how you feel and who wouldn’t want to always feel and dress good?
I dig seeing all these young men suiting up!, Honestly...I think the Black Suit first is not the move...Navy and Charcoal grey are WAY more versitle than a black suit...You can wear a dark grey or navy blue suit in almost every situation you can wear a black suit...but there are a ton of situations where the black suit would be too formal... Traditionally, Black Suits are for black tie events or funerals...Grey and Navy are Business atire and Earthy colors i.e. Brown, Forrest Green etc. Are for sporting or outdoors...Hence the "No brown in town" rule...
Im a Hispanic dude, i grew up next to a Methodist Church, and let me tell you, i have always want to step into a suit like that, but worry people would get the wrong idea or be accused of misappropriation.
Yes, but it’s only 3 shirts colors, 5 pant colors, and 5 jacket colors. So thats 75 combinations. If you added 3 more shirt colors then you would have 150 combinations.
Sweet! Can you give us what these would cost in total? Where do o even shop for a nice slim fitting suit? I haven’t owned a suit since I was a kid. And back then they weren’t very firm fitting.
I get all my suits and ties at thrift stores. Don't laugh. I get nothing but compliments. These are all neutral colors. That's why they work. Compliment that with the right color tie.
This is good advice if this is your style. When i was in retail banking suit 'n' tie was my daily wardrobe. Years later still in financial services as a securities broker I work in an office building and no public contact so after years of monkey suit no more ties and the rise of khakis with dress down Fridays im the summer. I moved on to IT and wearing jeans on the regular. Last three year now WFH so most ties dress pants and shirts went to goodwill. Kept just enough for job interview if need arises.
I promise im not trying to make this a race argument, but does this work for thinner white males, or would u suggest other colors? I have never liked the way Brown looked on me tbh.
just add one more thing buy three pair of formal shoe ( blk Oxfords, brown Derby and tan brogue) and extra one any color slip on / loafers for comfort ...
Yes. Black is unnecessary as it's too formal and mainly for weddings and funerals. A charcoal grey can pull off what black can do, but it's more appropriate for other situations. I recently wore navy to a funeral and actually got a lot of compliments on my suit.
Oh my god the navy jacket, powder blue shirt, and the beige pants are insane!!!!
I know u a woman by your comment, lol
I know what you women love to see, I use to dress similar
Nah that gives me a 60 y.o. man vibes. Maybe nice for a somewhat middle aged man, but I as a guy in my 20s would feel ancient wearing that.
@@TheSwedishGuy0202gotta have a modern/slim cut. That’s a timeless look.
@@anthonyphillips8393 still no, I will just look and feel like a grandpa who has spent some money on a tailor 🤷♂️
It's not in this video. But the black jacket, white shirt, and grey pants are my favorite combination of these suits.
My man’s beard game is on POINT! Learned more from this short about men’s fashion than the last 28 years combined.
I've heard this a couple times but the visual locks it in! Such a game changing method!

Just got a job like this too. Time to go to work with my fits lol
Not gonna lie. That brown jacket went well with those navy pants. Was not expecting that.
Sure did bro
Agreed
It’s was the cream shirt with the brown shoes that tied it all together! 🔥🔥🔥
It the shoes the brought it all together on that combo.
This combo is stunning! I would have never tried it until seeing it.
whoaa that brown jacket with blue pant combination is so cool !!!
This is the BEST visual aid I've seen for this advice. It's legit.
He snapped!!! This better than the original lol. He put that thang together!
What's the original lol
@@gdotmoney96just Steve Harvey explaining it on his show.
@@spencershipley4349 i though he's talking about the other slim black guy that made this same video. Which im sure he made first

Love the brown and navy combo

That Navy suit should be 1st.
Excellent job.

yes!! Finally someone who did it right.
You've really nailed it with the colors, they do all look great!
Thanks for visualizing all this. Nice job.
I finally saw a visual example of what Steve was talking about! Thank you
I’ve been looking for the Steve Harvey suit quote for a while. I’m so glad you did this video. I appreciate this so much.!
Bro you nailed it!!! Your solid navy and that shade of brown suit killed it!!! You def take the cake bro!
Yup this version is the best 👌🏼
Great job! Looks awesome, I needed this advice a long time ago 😂
The tan one looks impeccable
Man im so happy ive came across this video! Very smart!
Was a bit skeptical about the brown and navy combo. Love it
Thank you for this demonstration.
Brown coat, Beige Shirt and Navy pants that shut looked fire
To my surprise, the last one black pants tan up top is absolute fire 👏👏👏
Love the colors where did you get these suits and solid beard.
Thank you I really needed the visual
You should also get 2 pink shirts.
Do you mind if I ask where you bought your creme shirt?
Solid advice from Steve
The Brown top with the black trousers is 🔥🔥🔥
Not gonna lie that's actually good fashion advice especially for suits
That last fit is 🔥
This is the best advice ever
Just what I needed if I would become a lawyer

You don’t have to be a lawyer to dress respectable.
@@lawfulbeneficiary1731 I dont need that many suits tho 😂

With 6 shirts, 5 pants and 5 jackets, not to mention the shoes, belts and ties, there should be a lot more combinations than just 75 right?

The best advice he every gave 😂
Turquoise and beige, an eternal love!
Also just to add we need 3 pairs of fancy shoes.
- Black
- Light Brown
- Dark Brown
And matching belts for each color.
Amazing! Thank you.
Is it just me or the burgundy or deep red shirt goes well both in black and tan suit
Best advice Steve ever gave
he got some drip on
Dang BLACKBEARD 😂😂

That cream colored shirt is definitely his color. 🤔 I think I need to try one on. Never owned that cream color
It depends on the person wearing those. Not everyone can rock these style.

Shoes? I guess 2 brown and 2 black Pairs Oxforts. And Belts 2 black and 2 brown? And the Ties like the Suits, right? And what about Watches?

but it works
and it blends
Like the fits but the powder blue shirt needs to be tailored

The pants from the black suit seem to be of a diffefent shade or colour than the jacket 😬
