Probably probably not if that is truly something that can be scarring someone for the rest of their life I’m not sure that it’s true I went in saying he saying that’s true enough that if I were to doubt it I’d be in the river of Egypt denial
However if there is one man who would praise what he had to say it would be German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer
Schopenhauer was an atheist grappled with the purpose of life
But his conclusions were beyond pessimistic dealing with the realities of life‘s endless sufferings
Schopenhauers big conclusion Was that it was best never to be born at all he thought human beings bright nothing of constant design and if we didn’t achieve these desires there was discontent and even if we did discontent with step in anyway he wanted us to face up to the fact that fulfillment was impossible

This film was released in March 2007, it's over fifteen years later. But things have gotten worse considerably.
Ken is too idealistic, and his philosophy and methodology might have worked in the 20th-century and maybe even in the 2000s if you were fortunate, but when the 2010s started, the game just took a nosedive for men. Sal seems to be the kind of guy who is the lone survivor that was right all along with the way things are going now. The game is clearly rigged, and men must take measures to protect themselves and put their interests first (unless children are involved). Now so many guys don't even become "players or womanizers"; they never get involved with women because they never even get the chance, or men just walk away. As a man in the English-speaking Western World, it can be too risky to be romantically involved with a woman, and it's simply not worth it in many regards.

How about as a recently turned 40yo, you learn what love truly is. First one must understand what sacrifice is, learn what forgiveness is, and learn why that sacrifice was made should one accept that man deserves death in a lake of fire for their trespasses against the almighty, loving just, merciful, righteous and kind God. He sent His only son, without sin, to die the most brutal and tortuous, painful arguous death imaginable on a wooden cross. Once one can grasp that kind of love that Jesus had for the world, one can come to possibly understand what real love is. Love covers a multitude of sins.

@@beefchief2320 I don't know about it being a terrifying thing to believe. It's not terrifying to me. Frankly, it's quite peaceful. Humanity has fallen so far in its morality that I want nothing to do with it, as far as a relationship goes. That 16 heartbreak was due to a lack of morals on her part, and thanks to her, it opened my eyes to just how lacking humanity is. Since I know that humanity lacks morals, and since I know I do not like pain that cannot be avoided, the logical solution is to stay out of relationships. By pain that cannot be avoided, I mean the pain one experiences from a heartbreak. It cannot be avoided. It sticks with you for quite sometime. I do not like that kind of pain, therefore, it is to be avoided. Plus, there are other aspects of relationships I am not a fan of, but I digress. Nonetheless, I find peace in knowing that I won't be subjected to that mental torment that is heartbreak, or the games and hoops the come with relationships.

Then once the girls mature and don't want a f**kboy anymore and look for husband material, there isn't any left because those once upon a time nice guys were broken and changed who they were and more often than not, can't be unbroken.

I was at a bar one time and I can't remember how the conversation started but these two women asked me why am I so single and I told them the reasons why because I don't want to get my heart broken I've been rejected so many times I've been abused by women quite a few number of times.
And they said not all women are bad
And I respond do you say the exact same thing when a guy hurts a woman whether it's something major or something minor do you say the exact same thing.
And there was no response from either of them.
See I get it men need women and women need men and I get the fact that both sides have their problems but it always seems like women will get a number of second chances and one man does something that he shouldn't do and all men are to blame.
In the worst part is that women would rather deal with scum bag men then go out with decent men because it's easy.
So here's my message to women you want to take the easy road you want to be with a guy who has no job no income works off the books talks down to you like you are a second class citizen you be my guest but just remember you are the ones who are responsible for your unhappiness

This film was released in March 2007; it's almost eighteen years later. But things have gotten worse considerably.
Ken (portrayed by Mars Callahan) may come off as too idealistic. His philosophy and methodology might have worked in the 20th century and maybe even in the 2000s if you were fortunate, but when the 2010s started, the game just took a nosedive for men. Sal (portrayed by Matthew Lillard) seems to be the kind of guy who is the lone survivor who was right all along with how things are going now. The game is clearly rigged, and men must take measures to protect themselves and put their interests first (unless children are involved). Now, so many guys don't even become "players or womanizers"; they never get involved with them because they never even get the chance, or men walk away. As a man in the English-speaking Developed World, it can be too risky to be romantically involved with a woman, and it's simply not worth it in many regards.
      - divorce/marriage failure
      - infidelity/promiscuity
      - STDs/STIs
      - misattributed paternity/paternity fraud
      - false accusations/allegations
      - domestic abuse
      - weaponizing children against the father
      - financial instability/ruin
      - jeopardized mental health
      - trust issues
      - family court
I'm not saying we should give up entirely, but we must be aware of the glaring issues and risks and take proper precautions if we are to attempt an endeavor like this.

There is something in this writing that's truly next-level meta, and my comment won't even come close to doing it justice, but some people are going to say that it's just making excuses for bad behaviour, and passing off accountability, BUT, this is a rare example of opening up, and embracing insecurity; it's not an "excuse", it's just a fact, and a logical extrapolation of how trauma will change the nicest guys into narcissistic assholes.
    This guy is no longer afraid of his demons;
he faced them, he owns them, and they work for HIM now.
    This is true empowerment.

So many people sit there and say “it’s just a bad excuse” and I’m like dumbfounded by how you can just disregard peoples feelings, this works with girls and guys, it’s the pain that makes people hate. It’s easy to say get over it when you haven’t had to go through it, and I truly mean go through something like this, I’m not talking about brad that you dated a week ago and broke up with you and you cried for 3 days, I’m not talking about Jessica who was a bitchy Highschool cheerleader, I’m talking about someone you truly love, that you did everything for, and thought you’d be with forever, and then it turns out that they had been playing you for years, you don’t just “get over” it, that’s not how that works. Not only that, but if you can understand how depression works, then you understand they can’t help it, no one is saying it right to do it, but you can’t sit there and say there’s no reason, cause there is, no one wants to keep going through that pain, some are more sensitive then others. If your the person trying to blame the victims instead of blaming the idea of it happening, then your on the same level as people who talk crap on the people who end up killing themselves cause they have had enough, and you sicken me, your making no real change, your not trying to help, your just trying to deflect and disregard so that you don’t have to face the facts of what’s happening

My head is sick with contamination OCD and that instantly made my first girlfriend leave me. I’ve got demons inside me. Nobody gives a fuck to listen!!!! I just see myself in the future living alone. No kids. No wife. Nothing. I am about to turn 23 and This generation I am a part of gives me no hope in finding anyone to actually give a shit about me. I can look around and see friends of mine falling in love but I get a fucking curse to never seek that happiness from a woman.

Depends on the situation. Take an elderly couple. Married for let's say 40 years and had 4 children together. Then one day the woman gets diagnosed with cancer and passes away after a couple years. Was it better for the man to have never met her or loved and lost her? Loved and lost. They had a life together, were happily married, had children together and she passed away. But I also understand what you mean. Choosing to leave and dying are two different things. I was also in a similar situation when I was in high school. I was once friends with this one girl from my church. I still remember the day we became friends. I was in 9th grade and i think she was in the 8th grade. I remember it was at a youth event at my youth pastors house and our entire youth group was there. All the boys went outside to go play football. I suck at football and it was chilly outside so I decided to just stay inside with all the girls. I remember day dreaming about whatever I was daydreaming about and then she sits down right next to me and she says to me: "why aren't you playing football with the other boys?" I told her it was cold outside and I wasn't very good at it. Me and her never spoke before, despite both of us growing up in that church and I never had any prior feelings. I remember the exact day. It was October 25th, 2015. This was the first conversation we had. Through the next couple years we became friends. We talked a lot at church, spent time together at youth events. We started off as friends but eventually I started to develop feelings for her. My feelings were very strong. I really really liked her. We got along very well and I thought we had a lot of chemistry. I thought she was the one God had for me and this was it. I started to daydream about a romantic relationship with her, marriage, life together, having a family with her. Eventually, she found out I liked her from someone else at church and then things went downhill. She didn't want to talk to me anymore. She started giving me the silent treatment. I was completely crushed and hurt. I actually just stopped going to church because I couldn't bare to see her anymore but she did not want to see me. Was it worth it for her to come talk to me on that day? No. I was better off left alone. I still wish she had not but I can't change what happened. All I can do is move on and pray to God for healing

The result of being trapped in his own loop of getting his heart broken that turned him scummy. Somewhere in his life, he tried to make it all look so perfect but didn’t realize the fact that it could’ve been his turn to lose. So he takes on a persona and facade to make himself look better and something he can admire and be proud, which I don’t blame him for, cause we all been like that somewhere. A form or way to cope.

So true! I was always the nice guy. Whenever I was in a relationship I always went the extra mile, for no other reason than that I wanted to show her just how much I cared. Of course it was never enough. They would always find something petty to throw in my face. I had one girl dump me after asking me my opinion on a few hair colors she was considering, and me not choosing the one she preferred. I never learned my lesson until my fifth gf. I really thought it was going to be the one that would work out. We were engaged, and going to be married in a month. It was at that point I discovered that she had "fallen in love" with another man. It's been 3 years, and I've been single ever since. The ironic thing is that her and most of the others ended up with abusive men.

    To those who are putting this down;
NO, breaking hearts because your own heart was broken ISN’T correct or condoned. However this clip exposes an explanation, not an excuse, and explanations are needed because “womanizers” are labeled as villains whilst when women are promiscuous, it’s “heroic” and “independent”.
Woman can be just a butthurt about this subject IF NOT MORE, and the profound nature of this clip is a man even being vulnerable about his own bleeding vulnerabilities.
Us men didn’t realize the truth of our own sentiments, and thus we can learn to move forward and heal because clips like this INFORM us with insight.
So it goes both ways, sure, but how often are men consoled as women are when it comes to the broken heart? How often to women take accountability as men are expected to for their own mistakes and infliction of wounds?
