This is a magnificent collaboration! I like Aron dropping in Grace Kelly's 'stank face' during Henrik's bass solo at 4:28. The video was edited by Dirty Loops drummer, Aron Mellergård. ① The video was recorded on two different continents. Dirty Loops in Sweden, and Cory Wong and the horn-section in Minneapolis. Three of the horn-section were Prince's studio and touring 'Hornheads', including arranger Michael B. Nelson. Best Wishes. ☮ ① for the benefit of folks who can't or didn't read the credits
Jonah has stated that his greatest inspiration is Stevie Wonder. At the same time, he's also made some truly great renditions of Michael Jackson songs. He might begin a song in MJ style, but moments later sing it like SW would.
When they were in New York this year I had a chance to talk with Henrik and Aron, Henrik told me that Aron (the drummer) wrote most of the bass parts. I've been in the music business for 50 years. Toured for 30years with some of the greats. Produced and done session work since, these guys are next level. They are geniuses in their own right. They make me wonder why I play music!!!! @@secondhandreactionsit was a great idea, Clay 👍 I find with Dirty Loops, as you were saying, the path to getting to like them might be a curved one, not straight forward. Because they mix so many genres, sometimes people aren’t sure of how to categorize them, and put them into the too-hard basket. Or the ‘not-my-thing’ basket. You put it all very neatly yourself. And I think lots of us are here for Dirty Loops because of slightly different reasons… There’re just so many facets to these guys 🔥💥🔥 Hope that Tom keeps on diving into their catalog-.
"future ex-son-in-law" o_O #Brutal LOL Dirty Loops are right up there musicianship-wise with the likes of Snarky Puppy, but starting from that pop sensibility core. Incredible playing, singing, composition. :)
@@fiddlestix3025 Next time Tom is up I’ll play it for him if he hasn’t heard it yet. Tom and I recorded a couple of reactions this past Sunday. This was the only Dirty Loops reaction, but some others we did are insane.
This one really showcases the front vocals!!! Everyone in this band has a superpower
Thanks for that react 👍
Tom needs to hear “Work Shit Out” 🔥
✌️🤘🤟
I will definitely suggest that one to him.
I am totally here for Dirty Loops!!!!
Yes, same, and this song is fire! 🔥
Hope it got a few cool dance moves from you, Sue 😉
Such a feel-good song 🫶

More, more, more!! 😍😄And yeah, that´s what they do - they leave you wanting more! Great reaction, guys! Cheers from Stockholm, Sweden.

I belive this is just what Jonah does covering Thriller. 1st verse like MJ and second like SW 😊
@@DrMcKay66 Exactly.
@@RobertClaeson Splendid musicians all on that set. I mean, a double bell euphonium🤔 pure witchcraft 😂

That’s crazy that Aron is writing those parts. Wth with this band ?? lol.
Would really have liked to see Sue´s reaction tp this one. I bet she would have danced.
No doubt. She dances to everything. lol - I’m happy to take an opportunity to spread this music to someone who hasn’t heard them yet ✌️
I loved this reaction!!! And oh yeah, I'm dancing around of course you just can't go wrong with dirty loops

@@fiddlestix3025 I think he will. Thanks for taking a moment to share some insight and kind words ✌️

I think that’s is why him and Henrik are so tight. Aron will play on the drums riffs that Henrik is playing. Way cool!!

Yup. We always welcome suggestions. No promises, but we try to get to as many as we can.

I’d love a reaction to Dirty Loops’ “Coffee Break Is Over” (instrumental only) and “Work Shit Out” (hell of a drum solo) with Tom!

Great, but there is no falsetto here. Cheers!
Isn’t falsetto higher octave singing?
@@secondhandreactions Falsetto is when a grown man reaches over his modal voice.
