    I adopted a little chihuahua from a local shelter this past July. Within a day he had kennel cough and within 3 days he was hospitalized for several days with pneumonia. He survived, thanks to the vet who told me that if I took him home instead of hospitalizing him he was going to die. Coincidentally that same shelter was quarantined a week ago due to this illness. Pet owners please take this situation seriously, it can save your pet's life.

      That’s definitely not unusual, coming from close, quartered, overcrowding, and the conditions of shelters, having to spray down and hose down cages and perhaps not always the sanitation dealing with volunteers and at risk animals anyway

      Or to be honest with you, just from onset of listening to the regions that are highly effective make me feel like they could be interlinked with this super spreader theory as they are in areas that are very highly vaccinated for Covid and so it does beg to question whether these dogs living close proximity with vaccinated folks are being affected as we know that we can pass things back-and-forth to our cats and dogs.

    Priceless information. FYI, Here in North Carolina this outbreak is spreading. A friend’s 10 month old dog, fully vaccinated very healthy and well cared for, was boarded for 3 days. The facility knowingly allowed a dog with kennel cough and on medication and did not inform other boarders. Friend’s dog quickly came down with coughing and high temperature, was put on antibiotics but quickly moved into pneumonia. He was on the cusp of disaster. $5,000 later he’s on the mend. My 1 1/2 yr old Yorkshire came down with it but never got a fever, ate well, but slept more often. My holistic vet took it seriously and prescribed 3 weeks of antibiotics, cautioning us not to have him around other dogs until the meds were finished AND he was not coughing. He did have a cough and that barking cough for a few days but did well. 1 week to go with the meds. I’m reassured by this interview that I’ve been doing a really good job with our “Winston” as far as nutrition, supplements, exercise, etc. As a PS, how odd is it that we have a dog pandemic in this part of the world soon after the people pandemic? Hmmmm.

    My dog was still eating and drinking and the only sign I had was nasal discharge. Took him to vet the same day and he already had pneumonia in his lungs. Don't wait for lethargy to set in. This illness is different. Pneumonia develops very quickly. By the time dog is coughing it could have pneumonia already.

    • @andydufresne5297
      @andydufresne5297 9 місяців тому

      @@raenakim-geyer Exactly. I tend to think it's adulterated vaccines and/or foods, possibly vaccines now being produced with the experimental and harmful mRNA technology. I find it interesting that there's a "pneumonia" virus sweeping through China, and I think there's some alleged outbreaks or concerns here in the U.S. Could it all be connected? And are there any veterinary-related institutions near the geographical locations where outbreaks began and/or have been heaviest? By "institutions", I mean veterinary colleges (like U. of Missouri), dog food plants, animal vaccine manufacturers, and so on.
      I think it comes down to finding someone--if anyone can get hold of the information, that is--who can do a timeline and data analysis that covers the following:
      ◼where and when this started showing up first--cities, areas, maybe even buildings?◼how it appears to have spread, is there a pattern that has been overlooked?◼whether it's confined primarily to or near areas where there is a high density of dogs, or does that actually matter?◼whether or not the places that seem to have been earliest or hardest hit have higher dog _vaccination_ rates, due to local laws, than less-affected areas, and we could also look at higher rates of other pharma products as well. like flea and tick collars◼ whether the places where issues have arisen are injecting vaxes that use mRNA technology at an increasing rate, instead of traditional technology. The mRNA C19 vaxes had 9 pages of side effects during trials, many very serious, mRNA technology is not a safe and effective way of transporting a vaccine into the cells. ◼whether people (especially pet owners, vets, groomers, etc) in the affected areas are heavily vaccinated, since C19 vax shedding is a real thing with each injection ◼ whether there is any correlation between the pneumonia/other issues and specific products from dog food manufacturers.

    Thank you both for addressing this! I live in Idaho and my dogs (both Blue Heelers)are still recovering from this illness that first presented in mid September 2023 as a dry cough. At first I searched for remedies for kennel cough or thought maybe even tracheal collapse. I started giving my oldest (13 yrs old) who got sick first 1 Tsp of dark raw honey 2 x's per day- I don't have a vet locally that I trust so had to do a bit of research from internet and vet medical journals. My dogs are happy in my large yard so they were not out and about and no other dogs were on my property, There is however other wildlife such as cats, raccoons, squirrels and birds. Within two weeks I was feeling that the cough wasn't improving but the vets were either unaware of this mystery illness or insisting on more vaccines. I started giving 1 tsp of colloidal silver 2 times per day along with the honey which seemed to help but I noticed the dry cough became more moist sounding which panicked me. I went from colloidal silver to 1 drop of pure Oregano oil (diluted in olive oil) 2x's per day along with honey. My second dog (6.5 yrs old) started coughing 3 weeks into my older dogs illness so started him on this protocol. They both have improved - not completely but pretty close. I wish we could supplement with cBd but it's not legal here. I hope this may help others. Again thank you Dr. Jones so very much for all your wise insights to a more natural way of healing and care. - p.s...my dogs do get pre and probiotics and plant enzymes daily as well prior to this illness.

      nif you give broths make sure they don't have onion in them. I also used lots of supportive nutritive herbs like burdock root, dandelion root and leaf, nettles, alfalfa leaf, tumeric, etc. I gave her tincture and or teas that I had made and gave them very often in the beginning. She wouldn't drink on her own so I used a needleless syringe in her mouth, once the liquid hot her tongue she would swallow. Don't just force liquids down their throat. the first two days I gave her medicine about every one to two hours and constantly gave her fluids because she was dehydrated. I began to see slight improvement in a few hours, but it wasn't until two days that she really improved, I nursed her for over a week. She's completely back to normal now. Patience and persistent relentless nursing is key as well as fasting especially while they have a fever. unnecessary complications can be avoided by fasting. Dogs digestive tract stops with a fever and damage can be done if they are force fed so just keep that in mind. Good luck.

    The AKC will not cancel, despite the likelihood that many dogs will get sick and even die. Why?? MONEY!!
    Sadly, I am electing to skip this show because I value my dog’s health over ribbons. Many don’t feel this way and will show no matter what the risk

      I agree. Even decades before COVID on humans and now this mystery illness on dogs, kenneling one's dog, in my opinion, was not a safe proposition. I went on a family vacation and kenneled our family dog in a "safe" suburban small veterinarian clinic.
      When we returned from the vacation and picked him up, our dog had a skin infection. When I inquired about it, the response was: "He probably had it before you brought him here, but you didn't notice it." Then, in addition to the kennel bill, I had to pay for examination fees, medication, and follow up treatment. The "doctor" even refused to reduce the cost of the fees and medication though it was clear the causative factor was the kennel "vacation" he had at that clinic.

    I live near Huntington, WV. My shihtzu Chloe just recently had bladder stone surgery on Nov 28th, they gave her a bordatella vaccine and rabies vaccine , I called PRIOR to visiting if they had ANY cases of this respiratory illnesses IN the vet. It definitely not the most funded but not many options in this area, they almost acted offended that I had even asked and very weird about it... 3 days after she came home she began coughing/hacking.. I thought it was just food, now 6 days later, she won't drink water straight from the bowl, she's eating, and is eating but is hacking at night and occasionally throughout the day. My other shihtzu, is now started to act lethargic and has lightly caughed within the last day, I've been feeding her water thru a syringe, I called the vet that did the surgery and prescribed doxycycline. I TRULY believe it's this illness and they are just acting like it was no big deal and they thought nothing of it...I now have a 1300 vet bill and i'm terrified she's gonna get worse..

Within 2 weeks our 2yr old husky came down with a cough. Thought it was kennel cough. Then a few days later our 12 yr old small dogs got it. They have had it since. Went to 3 different doctors. We've been tracking it at work and some people's dogs who never leave their yard or come in contact with other dogs are getting it which suggests another route of transmission (perhaps birds that eat dog poop)...as well as dog to dog respiratory contact transmission. People are saying go to the vet early if you hear the cough, get antibiotics, and say no to tests that leave you with a 10K bill.

But about 2020 or 2021 a bunch of chicken owners found out the "commercial food" was causing the hens to not lay eggs and when they stopped the "commercial food", all the problems dissappeared. Also isn't it kinda weird that a total of 7 or 8 eye drop manufacturer have the exact same contmainate in them and have to be recalled and has cause several deaths and more that are now chronically ill...is this possibly a commercial food contamination of some sort?...I only buy high quaility beef from health food store for my little chiwahwah, and high quailty butter or duck fat also from health food store where the farmers are real people who care...we all gotta stop all "corporation' foods. @@Greenpeppersandeggs It's been a series of trying this and trying that. I have changed several times in the last decade. I feed my dog high quaility beef and he jumps around like a puppy, he is about 14 yeas old, and did eat dry dog food from health food store first several years of like, then oven baked Turkey from health food store for several years, and now beef. He got sick couple months ago and our family tried to reason out what happened, the best guess we had is he ate something he shouldn't have eaten in the yard or while being baby sitted at families house while we were on vacation, we thought 2 weekends in a row that he was going to die, he could not walk, and didn't respond to water, food, ... he appeared blind and deaf. I babied him back to being like a new puppy. I changed his reverse osmosis water (my husband thought city water is just fine), but I have been drinking triple distilled water for years, and it is magical. So when he was at deaths door, my husband let me be in charge of his water, and at first, our dog could not drink enough of it, he would drink like 3 cups at a time, and I started putting melted butter on his beef. and I got him his own fan and added negative ion coppers plates to blades. two months later and he jumps like a puppy to get to his water, as if it is candy. Triple distilled water tastes sweet, it's magical water. I have 3 distillers and have been distilling my eater for about a decade. I use mega distillers, because cheap distillers use toxic alloys in the metal that is poison. I stopped vaccines about 6 years ago, and he is fine. I don't go to doggy parks or such. He is the family center. The amazing thing is, truely all family came over to say goodbuy to him and no one thoght he would live. Because these things I did, seem to have worked magic, for the first time in a decade my husband is drinking at least a half gallon a day of my tripled distilled water and reckonizes that it does have benefits...took a near death experince for him to even consider drinking my distilled water. I make about 2 gallons a day of water and in a hurry to get second gallon on, that it's about an hour of completion, so not to hot to take off lid and wipe out and pour in next gallon of my reverse osmosis water(you don't have to clean the partical crude out of reverse osmosis water, saves time cleaning distiller), when I life the lid on distiller number one, wow, the nasty terrible smell is bad, you deffinately know the water is full of chemicals and forever chemicals and medicines. Distiller number 2 and 3, alwasy clean smellings. our dog know hops and skips like a puppy to get to that triple distilled water. Blessings to your dog and family...

    I think my dog has it and my husband was working at a house where their dog had a cough so it might be contagious without contact. The vets cough medicine and antibiotic worked good and I started giving my dog a supplement called black seed oil. Nigella sativa. I gave him split pills of guafenesin in the beginning before we went to the vet. The cough just started to come back a week after the last medicine. Those black seed oil pills seemed to have helped his health. I have two other dogs at home and they seem to have gotten the cough too but not as hard, much milder. I’m in NY state. And it wasn’t officially diagnosed but it was a random cough.

    Number one thing that's going to save your dogs is colloidal silver!
    . It will kill any and everything quickly. I've used it on myself, my family members, and all of my animals
    I've used it for many years.
    One year, my dog was very sick. I took him to the vet. They sent him home to die. I gave him silver, and he came back to life, no joke
    My friends who have exotic animals use it to get their sick animals better
    I make it now myself. You can get this at the health food stores. Keep some in their water daily. I even put it in this spray bottle and rub it on any sore. It's a miracle. Back in the day, when babies were born, they would put it in their eyes
    I've used this for more than fifteen years. It has cured diarrhea food poisoning any element that I've had over the years. Best of wishes❤❤

      I poured in the dog's water and and it similarly doesn't bother him he drinks away
      You can look up on UA-cam or on Google. What the weight if you want to be precise? But after 15 years, I literally just drink it. Just pour whatever I feel need to into their water bowl. Spry them down when they're sick. This stuff has healed me when I had COVID. When I get viruses, diarrhea, and even food poisoning. It is such an amazing feeling to know that this really works and will take care of you and your animals

Also in the winter where I live in Michigan, it was really hard to walk my dogs for several months, so it's not necessarily an abnormal thing to keep your dog indoors most of the time at least in the winter months and maybe let them play a little bit outside when they go out to do their business. Usually in the really cold weather my dogs would want to come right back inside anyway! And certainly playing with them and maybe doing a little tag team in the house even would be good for them.

    Our 12 yr old dog has had respiratory issues and terrible cough for a year now. He has taken meds and even steroids.
    When the cough gets too bad we give him Benadryl. We found that CBD oil seems to give him the most relief. Vet took X-rays and his lungs are clear. We were vacationing in Florida and Alabama when he contracted this disease. Vet has been diagnosing/treating for chronic bronchitis and possible relaxed trachea?! So glad we got our dog in for treatment ASAP during onset of cough and labored breathing.

    I am thoroughly convinced the immunizations gave my small dog diabetes. I didn’t know better back then although I never felt right about vaccinations. Post Covid, I will never vaccinate a dog or myself with anything again.

    My 9 yo 70lbs labradoodle was one of the first to get this. Unfortunately, the vet was "shot gunning" antibiotics. It was horrible. I never seen him or any animal so sick and was scared. Lasted 3 months. Signs and symptoms are exactly described here. within two weeks it went from a kennel cough to full blown pneumonia. I was scared. He made it and has been good now for 2.5 months. He was exposed to a doggie day care a week prior. But now, has started to occasional throwing up and some occasional cough. So there is no immunity. I am looking at best to boost immune system. Will walk less traveled areas of other dogs. Just hope it does not get full blown and trying to nip it now. Thank you for the video!

    Has anyone asked if 5g has anything to do with it? I suspect it to be the case. Up to 188x more,powerful than 4g and it shows up with in a year of most people having it available in their area. My dog is not only fighting this, but, possibly mouth cancer. My dog is not boarded and except for having most his teeth removed at the vet he is not around other dogs. One round of antibiotics helped the stinky sinus infection, but, still coughing sneezing and drooling. Giving a probiotic now, olive leaf extract, echinacea drops. Silver drops, elderberry syrup, salt nasal drops and quercitin zinc combo. Doing better, but, part of his gum line is eaten away. It is sad, but, he is improving.

    This is scary because good luck being able to get a vet appointment or even have an emergency vet hospital take your dog in Massachusetts, they tell you to try emergency clinics in Connecticut!

    • @dropbear4973
      @dropbear4973 9 місяців тому +2

      It's because of the veterinarian shortage in Massachusetts, and it's not going to get any better soon. I had a dog choking on a chewy stick, called 2 veterinarians early on a Saturday afternoon and an the emergency clinic the answering machines recommended couldn't see him! Luckily he worked it down himself. Rediculus no one could see him .

    • @andreathemisses1422
      @andreathemisses1422 9 місяців тому +2

      Your dog does not need annual shots. That's how vets make their money. You are causing more harm to your dog. Once they get their boosters as pups they are set for life. I have dogs and dogs in the past all healthy and lived longer lives without yearly vaccines.

    • @andreathemisses1422
      @andreathemisses1422 9 місяців тому

      A practice that was started many years ago and that lacks scientific validity or verification is annual revaccination. Almost without exception there is no immunologic requirement for annual revaccination. Immunity to viruses persists for years or for the life of the animal.

    • @Earthy-Artist
      @Earthy-Artist 9 місяців тому +1

      I think a dog would be safe to wait, especially if a dog has had vaccines only so recently as a year ago. Vaccines can last many years. My boy's puppy vaccinations lasted well into adulthood proven by the titer testing he had. 'Titer testing' for antibodies has shown that he did not needed revaccination. Same is true for my little girl pup who also gets titer tested. Google 'titer test' to learn more. Dr. Jean Dobbs is an well known expert source to learn about titer testing from. Titer can be an alternative to revaccinating. Over vaccination can actually cause disease such as cancer. Traditional vets will often try to coheres you and scare people into over vaccinating their pets. They've tried to scare me. I understand they are taught that in school.

      Grooming 100% done at home by me, food I feed is 100% home made human grade made by me with holistic vet approval. Plus I give vitamin/herbal supplements recommended by my holistic vet. Never leave my dog with anyone else. If I can't bring my dog, or if it's not safe to bring my dog, I'd rather stay home with my dog! Sadly there are people who don't treat/care for their fur babies well... There may be a special place in hell for anyone who intentionally causes harm or neglect to these animal innocents.

    This disease IS being overblown. Most healthy dogs will NOT get pneumonia, and cases aren’t causing “a lot of dogs to die”. Very few cases have seemed to end in death nor have they been proven to be directly caused by this disease.
    This is likely just a version of a regular disease that goes around and people are trying to treat a virus with an antibiotic and that just plain won’t work.

    I often wonder about the air quality that was affected by the numerous "wildfire" alerts over the summer and how it affected my area , our allergies , the gardens and so on , we shut our windows , closed our fresh air vents , kept pets indoors except for potty breaks and even so , could still smell the smoke , our animals have even a more sensitive respiriatory system than we do . This was in the mid atlantic area . Wondering about lasting effects .

    I’m introverted so my pets are too. Work from home. I rarely go to the vet. So staying away from other dog is easy. My only concern is will there be a force vaccine for the dogs. I for one won’t get it and my hoa can kiss my ass if they say we have too. They socialize with other spieces I have at home
