How do you apply a salve to a dog when they're covered with fur? With humans, a salve would go directly on the skin and thus be absorbed better. Just wondering how to do that most effectively with dogs?
My 3 1/2 yr old pit/boxer is getting hip dysplasia.. We have him on a diet to lose the 7 pounds he's overweight.. Would love to learn how to manage his days with pain thats not to often as of right now..
Thank you for your helpful information. Do you know of any natural remedies for gingivitis in dogs. Other than brushing my dog's teeth daily and feeding a raw diet, which I do.
I'm interested in if these will help people too. Some meds work for us and some pets, other pets can't take. Tylenol is bad for people livers. Your joint meds are the same goodies that helped my knees and are just good for people with joint problems. Doctors need to cross fields with other specialists and learn from each other instead of isolating. Lorenzo's Oil was found because a father wanted to save his son and crossed disaplines to find a cure or lifesaver for his son. There was even a vet with puppies that had seizures and a dietician, and a chemist that was making that special oil... it was a 1992 movie based on real events.

This is what I do for adult cats. I’m not a vet or naturopath. You may wish to research this yourself. D-mannose powder - 1/4-1/8 tspn (250-500mg) daily 2. Colloidal Silver. 30-50ppm is good. 5ml 2-3 times daily 3. Vit C powder - 500-1000mg for acute. Melrose brand sells calcium ascorbate, which is said to better suit cats than sodium ascorbate 4. Slippery Elm Bark gruel - 20ml daily. Administer with treat, 30 mins before or after main meal. (It can interfere with absorption of nutrients) 5. Cornsilk or Couch grass root tea**- 20ml daily 6. Glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate - 500mg daily acute; 250 intermediate; 125 long term 7. L-theanine for stress ** If using loose-leaf tea leaves, add 1 tspn leaves to 1 cup of just-boiled water. Steep and allow to cool. Drain. If using capsules, 1 cap per 1 cup water.
Cbd oil as soon as you see cat shows signs could be not uti, if your cat had treatment and you gave the full amount of antibiotics than it could be yeast or something else that’s there than apply cbd to ears and give ultimate feline if you can afford that. But cbd is about 25 dollars with shipping and it works.

It's miracles are far reaching! My product is in 11 privately owned health food stores in 4 states and has ZERO toxins and is made by hand! There should be infomercials about topical magnesium benefits but that would not be great for the big P!
@@chrstinedivinagracia7259 Magnesium oil is expensive; magnesium chloride flakes are cheap. Magnesium "oil" is simply pure magnesium chloride flakes dissolved in water. It feels oily but it's only magnesium chloride flakes + water, and you can adjust the strength by adding more or less magnesium. The other minerals mentioned by Dr Jones (boron, copper, potassium) can be added if desired. I've made it for years, and if the pain is pretty severe, DMSO can be added in as well. A 50/50 blend of mag oil and DMSO makes for a powerful combination.

What can you do if your dog needs a dental & vet has an "undesirable" painkiller listed on the estimate/plan of treatment? Will the vet get angry feeling that they are being challenged? I believe years ago i was able to request a different painkiller be given my dog; ultimately the alternative may have not been much better. Usually switched over to Arnica once we got home; seemed to help. Some vets were OK with it, others wouldn't want to hear it.

I just pour some from a larger glass bottle into a dark glass eye-dropper bottle, same size as the DMSO you showed in the video (same one! "*New Roots" brand), and mix them together in the palm of my hand, rub it on the joints, spine, shoulders, and legs). Thanks for info and everyone's helpful comments, Dr. Jones!! 🥰 🐕 🫂
Great lesson and instruction to naturally help my pet with joint pain. I am buying all of those remedies
Love your information. Practical advice. Thank you!
What an amazingly good dog. Thankyou for comforting us pet owners
I take and use some of these natural options for my arthritis!
That is a VERY patient poodle (poor dear tolerates a lot of unnecessary poking).
Hugs for Tula ❤️🤗
What about DMSO? When my dog broke her hip I used these drops on her every day, prescribed by my nature vet. They relieve pain and inflammation.
I think he included it, even said to use dmso and cbd together. 😊
Tula is so good and. All!
Thank you ☺
My Boston who is blind and has arthritis does so much better with these drops
You are my hero. 💚
How do you apply a salve to a dog when they're covered with fur? With humans, a salve would go directly on the skin and thus be absorbed better. Just wondering how to do that most effectively with dogs?
Cbd for my cats American journey has flaxseed for myself castor oil and castor oil packs almond oil too.
You're doing a good job, we need you!
What is good for dogs who have gas
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Loving your videos Dr. Jones
Where's the link to sign up for the webinar?
Thanks, Doc...I'm going to try the comfrey...for myself!!
Great video and excellent suggestions.
Dr Jones, do you recommend red light therapy for pain relief?
Thanks for this, luv your work 🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍
No DMSO or Comfrey in website - was going to use one in conjunction with Cannabinoid for my dogs CCL tear
Good morning Doctor is Labixten alright to give my English Bulldog he is suffering from ellergies nothing working. Thanks
Love this Chanel!
My doctor gave me meloxicam for arthritis. 2 weeks without it, I can't walk
Love this doctor
My 3 1/2 yr old pit/boxer is getting hip dysplasia.. We have him on a diet to lose the 7 pounds he's overweight.. Would love to learn how to manage his days with pain thats not to often as of right now..
Thank you for your helpful information. Do you know of any natural remedies for gingivitis in dogs. Other than brushing my dog's teeth daily and feeding a raw diet, which I do.
Thank-You soo much for, this information is so helpful and so much appericated!!!!
Great list. Thank you! Surprised not to see PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) supplements. Seems very promising for dogs with OA.
Yessss, great results with PEA ! Also helps with itchiness
💚✌🏽So nice to see you posting a new video. Too many choices I wouldn’t know which to pick. My dog is practically crippled she’s an odd mix of a chihuahua and a frenchie. she doesn’t look like either and weighs 50 lbs. her hips are splayed so are her toes and feet they look swollen.. I know her lower back hurts and I will try the acupressure. Those were good tips. I would try a topical but I don’t know which to choose. Thenk you for your hard work and care.
Great info..ty
but where can we purchase liquid pain reliever at end of video?
I can tell you that at 73 I started on a collagen for my skin and hair however it helped my joints too, My back no longer creaks.I also learned to stay away from strawberries ,kale and broccoli ,could the collagen help my pets ?
Why
I am so sorry that
I missed the webinar. I just saw this
Gonna watch this video like at least 3 times to apply on my 7yr old St. Bernard. Though I wonder if it's dangerous for dogs if they lick where you rubbed the TOPICAL ointments...
Thank you for all the great information Doc !! ❤
Got any tips for clearing up UTIs naturally?
This is what I do for adult cats. I’m not a vet or naturopath. You may wish to research this yourself.
D-mannose powder - 1/4-1/8 tspn (250-500mg) daily
2. Colloidal Silver. 30-50ppm is good. 5ml 2-3 times daily
3. Vit C powder - 500-1000mg for acute. Melrose brand sells calcium ascorbate, which is said to better suit cats than sodium ascorbate
4. Slippery Elm Bark gruel - 20ml daily. Administer with treat, 30 mins before or after main meal. (It can interfere with absorption of nutrients)
5. Cornsilk or Couch grass root tea**- 20ml daily
6. Glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate - 500mg daily acute; 250 intermediate; 125 long term
7. L-theanine for stress
** If using loose-leaf tea leaves, add 1 tspn leaves to 1 cup of just-boiled water.
I make an orgainic handmade magnesium. It is a game changer and I wish I was making it when my dog was around!
How??
@@chrstinedivinagracia7259 I am a massage therapist and made a body butter by finding a recipe online and then I created my recipe. If you go to my page you can see what I used. You can make a spray really easy, just add flakes to filtered water. Just make sure you get good magnesium chloride! Or maybe you mean how is mag good for you? Go to my page I am responding to you from and I have some videos about it and my website has lots of info under my blog. Magnesium affects every system in the body and is present in every cell. It's miracles are far reaching! My product is in 11 privately owned health food stores in 4 states and has ZERO toxins and is made by hand! There should be infomercials about topical magnesium benefits but that would not be great for the big P!
@@chrstinedivinagracia7259 if you go to the page I am writing you from, there is lots of info
Me2 plz
Thank you!
Will the webinar be available to watch afterward, as it starts at 2.00AM where I am in Europe.
Yes, you'll get a recorded version.
@@VeterinarySecretswhere will that link be?
Where are you? Thanks for these very helpful videos. 🐕😻♥️
I’m 66 and have a toy poodle. He says to go to the box below to be added for the Webinar. If I scroll down I’m on another link. I don’t want to miss this.
Does anyone have the patience to tell me how please. I’d be very grateful. ❤

Dr. Jones....you are my go to !
Tula is just the best❤
I would like to ask you a question if you see this.
One of my canine babies has a history of oxalate stones in the bladder.
I want to slowly move into a raw diet for all 3 of my babies but Im concerned for Toby and diet for the bladder stones.
Would he benefit from a raw diet Dr. Jones or is it a bad idea for him?
Dr. Jones, where are you located and what do you think about Castor oil for dogs? Topically or otherwise?
I need an appetite stimulant for my dog which is a completely separate issue he's 12.
Thank you, Dr. Jones. Be blessed.🙏🏻💖
some people used baking soda in the water for kidney disease or uti
Thank you! Love your videos
Where can I order this particular topical magnesium? The ones I see online don’t seem to have the same ingredients. Thank you 😊

I guess, you have to put a cone on your cat for a few hours 😅
Çan I buy that Topical Magnesium in the Uk?
Please please tell us the product you use for topical magnesium. I have looked as much as I can, but I cannot find a product that’s topical and has boric acid, copper and the other ingredients that your product has in it. Thank you in advance and thank for all you do!
What is the best natural treatment for cats with stomatitis mouth inflammation?
You might try lactoferrin. If you want to read the research on its effectiveness, the title of the study is "Oral administration of bovine lactoferrin for treatment of intractable stomatitis in feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV)-positive and FIV-negative cats"
I also know a few people whose cats have improved with colloidal silver.
Colloidal silver
Hey Doctor Jones I just had to comment on Tula when you started to talk about accupressure as you were talking about it and the look she gave you was one as if to say now what is he doing to me, this dog thinks he's crazy. Im just kidding you give so much helpful information and tula is sweet too.
Off subject but is it advisable to apply ivermectin or equivalent topically for cats ? Dogs ? Fleas, ticks, itching .
Are any of these products, dangerous for a dog with kidney disease? We just found out she has lyme disease too. Shes very old but still going. They gave her an anti inflammatory only to be used for 5 days. I may want to try some of your recommendations further. She has had a broken front leg when she was a puppy before I got her . There's no muscle left and she limps from arthritis . I want to try this for her but want to make suits its safe for her high kidney levels.. Thank you in advance!
The link in the box below doesn't work. Unable to sign up for Sept 10, 2024 webinar. Pls fix.
Great video, as always. Is it safe to use curcumine in fogs having liver disease?
