    May I ask why you apply the gel so far away from the cuticle area?

      ...especially when it's an infill....but it looks the same as before... :/

    • @knittedkat
      @knittedkat 5 років тому +1

      You don't put it at the cuticle bcuz you use ur brush to push it up close the cuticle. otherwise it may flood or be too thick then could touch ur cuticle which would cause lifting

    hi there... sadly I can't go to a nail salon anymore, so I do them myself when I am able to... I have always done acrylics (nails and infills) but lately been looking at Gel infills... but still keep the acrylic nails. with regards to all the pre-prep solutions etc. can I use the same prep stuff as I use normally or would I have to get pacific preps solution just for gel nails.
    thank you
    regards

    Your nails look so healthy even though you use the gels/acrylics. Is that because you never really buff/file the natural nail?

    • @Beanana711
      @Beanana711  8 років тому +3

      +Art Vandelay Yes, I only remove that shine and dead skin. I never dig into the nail plate. The wet cuticle stone really helps. Thank you for watching!! :)

    • @ashcashcarter
      @ashcashcarter 7 років тому +1

      Art Vandelay your nails will only look bad and get damaged if gel/acrylic isn't properly applied/removed.

    love your work. just had a quick question is it just a preference using primer vs. using the gel base? or what is the difference?? I always thought u can only use the base gel for builder gels

    • @ashcashcarter
      @ashcashcarter 7 років тому +1

      Lilia Guzman you have to use primer or else the gel will lift. you should use a gel base coat before regular mani's and a thin base coat of builder gel before full sets/overlays.

    Can this technique be used with Soak Off Gel or just Hard Gel? If able to use S.O. Gel, how many coats do you apply? Thank you 💅

    • @Beanana711

      +Lucky Lucy Ricardo The make "soak off" hard gel. I can't think of a brand off the top of my head but I'm sure if you google it it will pop up. Gel polish wouldn't work for this, it's not strong enough. Hope that helps! :)

    • @ertfgghhhh

      Apply a cuticle softener. There are products that supposed to "melt" the cuticle away. Apply, massage area, push cuticle back, scrape it of gently

    • @Beanana711
      @Beanana711  8 років тому

      +eleni parashou Yes, this set is done with tips. The thickest point of my nail is the apex (middle of the nail close to the smile line). This gives the strongest nails. Thank you for watching! :)
