I've never noticed it at the end of a level but I have seen the link duck before. I believe you can duck in a boot, and if you're in a boot or dry bones shell and pressed into a particularly tight space that would automatically duck you it works there too, though you can't see the full sprite that way.

I know this isn't really a useless fact, but in Super Mario Maker 2, there is a secret character named Toad! You must go to the pause menu, go to settings and select Toad as your character! Nintendo really thought their secret was safe with me!
Fact: if you have an smb2 mushroom, then grab a star, then grab a different power up, the smb2 music will still play when you have a different power up.
I knew for the hovering on the off mushroom trampoline. Mario 3d world interface has a 2 tile depth toward the background, and while ground tiles are 2 tiles deep, some items are only 1 (like blocks). However the mushroom trampoline is always placed where the background items are (like semi solids, doors etc...)
If you ever make another one, all flying enemies that home in on you, such as Red Wigglers underwater, will all eventually stop following you and go in a straight line (except blasta mechakoopa's bullets, they blow up before they do this)
Hey! I know it's 9 months, someone's PROBABLY already said this, but I think the reason that NSMBU calls the Koopa Clown Car JUNIOR clown Car is because in the NSMBU game, Bowser never uses it, only bowser junior.
At 7:39, the Koopa Clown Cars are called different names because if you take a Junior Clown Car picture and a Koopa Clown Car picture, the Junior Clown Car seems to be a few pixels shorter. Mainly because Bowser Jr only rides the Junior but Bowser doesn't in the real NSMBU game.
9:51 I called them hard blocks but when I placed them down, I always heard the game say “Born York” but then one day, I was thinking about the Hard Block while playing the game and when I placed it down I heard “Hard Block” like what it should sound like, depending if I want it to say “Born York” or “Hard Block”, what’s what I will hear, I don’t know why

Now I am not a game developer but I think that the Bullet Bill Mask just is a lower quality than the official renders, probably so it doesnt take more processing power to load in-game. ( Great vid though! )
It might not be an useless fact, but lava doesn't reset the one-up counter if you swim on it with a dry bones shell. Try it with giant dry bones that are sunken half in lava.
I hope you will see this after 2 months, but I found a pretty useless fact. So in super Mario world, if you spin jump onto a brick block while being big, you will break it. So if there is a Yoshi on a brick, and you spin jump onto yoshi, the brick underneath will break, even though yoshi is there. It’s kinda weird.
I do know that in Super Mario Maker 1, if you shake a muncher around long enough (or afk for 10 minutes), you can do a secret minigame. I’m not sure if it is still in Mario Maker 2.
(13:00) I dislike shorts for two reasons: - I prefer playing something in the background while I work on other stuff. Having to change video every 1 minute is annoying. Plus if I don't change video, it repeats and that's even more annoying. A normal video normally shuts up. - On the phone, I can't play a short in splitscreen mode. This prevents me from playing a short while I do other things at the same time.
Fact: if you are wall-sliding on a bullet blaster which is on a spring, Mario will slide really awkwardly down. This doesn’t work with bullet blasters on tracks tho
If or when you make a 4th episode a cool fact I've found is there a quite a few enemies that are in the game but not usable in levels. These include: Conkdor (3D World Desert Background), Dragoneel (NSMBU Vertical Underwater Background), Cheep Chomp (NSMBU Horizontal Underwater Background), and of course Ninji's from Ninji speedruns. Some additional things that I'm not sure count as enemies are the Boo portrait in 3D World's Ghost House Background and the Stone Statues from NSMBU Desert's Background. There also could be more hidden enemies since I didn't check night time themes or any of the first 3 themes since I don't think the night would change anything much and the first 3 themes don't have extremely detailed backgrounds like NSMBU and 3D World. Also I know about Super Mari World having Undo Dog in the sky at night but I think that one is more well known and Undodog isn't an enemy (except in story mode)
The dry bone shell fact WAS intended, as the shell was meant to be a mystery item that you learned going through the Secrets Of The Dry Bone Shell in story mode

It would be cool if the characters' fireballs matched their color. Mario has red fireballs, Luigi has green, Toad has blue, and Toadette has pink. It could help with distinguishing who deals the final blow to enemies. Plus in Smash Bros, Luigi's fireballs are green, soooooo......... yeah.

Fact: All variants of big coins have a completely unique animation when coming out of a pipe. You have to do the Game Genie Technique glitch in order to put big coins inside pipes.
The Koopa Clown Car is renamed to the Junior Clown Car because they’re actually not the same thing. The Junior one is smaller than Bowser’s, and has a smaller mouth and eyes. This is because in the NSMB series, you primarily see the Junior one more than the normal one. The real Koopa Clown Cars in modern games actually look like how they do in Mario World.

Additionally, there's a setup I saw in a DGR video that uses water and I think a donut block to show the crouching sprite.
You can also use the eraser tool to make him crouch, although it isn't in gameplay, it's another way.
