I never understood why the poor and the middle class would vote for a a selfish billionaire in the first place, who cares more about his ego and pride than the American people, a man who would only make the elite richer and the poor even poorer.

texas, here. something that really shocked me happened today. i was backstage at a fashion show. models were getting dressed. a knock on the door- it was the one non-model guy that was in the show. he was an older white man that is part of the country club we were at aka, rich. he needed to change out of his outfit. we told the models to hurry up and finish changing. when they did, we let the man in. he walked in and said 'sorry, i didnt want to pull a trump on you.' old, white, rich, male texan (and not from austin) and he made a derogatory remark about trump. i was pretty floored. texas really might go blue this election. wouldn't that be something.

I did some research on Trump's primary polling and here's what I found
What people don't get about the primary polls is that Trump actually under performed his polling significantly. Every state Trump WON he was projected to win in polling, but 5 states Trump was polling ahead in he lost. Trump often polled 10-15 points lower than he was polled.
According to RealClearPolitics poll averages, Trump was up in Iowa by 4.7 points in polling and lost by 3.3 to Cruz, Alaska up 1.5 points and lost by 2.9 to Cruz, Trump up 2.5 in Minnesota and lost by 7.5 to Rubio, Trump up 11.4 points in Oklahoma and lost by 7.4 to Cruz, Trump was up 14.8 points in Virginia and won by only 2.8, Trump was up 9 points in Kansas and lost by 24.9 to Cruz.
Polling correctly predicted 43 of 49 states with data, every state wrong was an overestimation of Trump's support.
Trump consistently under performed polling in the primaries, if anything the polls are rigged for Trump.
Please check the data for yourself.

Regardless, it's a sad day that the American people, at least 50% approx. would prefer a murderess, traitor, lying, war monger(7 countries in tenure) anti gay and women's rights by proxy accepting 10's of millions from countries like Saudi Arabia & Qatar establishment candidate that puts foreign interests ahead of its own people. I assure you, Mark my words, this country will go straight to hell in a hand basket with former Nazi George Soros leading the way. Ya get what ya get gal.

***** George Soros turns in HIS OWN MOTHER AND FATHER to the Nazis
      Hungary, 1944...
George Shwartz, his real last name, was born during the year 1930. He started his life right before the Nazi occupation of Hungary.
George’s father, Theodore, attempted to change his families last name in order to avoid complications with Nazi Germany but ultimately, it was too late. By the time Theodore tried to change his families last name, the Nazis invaded.
In order to survive, George collaborated with the Nazis.
George first worked for the Judenrat. The Judenrat was a council set up by the Nazis. Their main job was to delegate Jewish volunteers to give up the position of Jewish refugees so the Nazis could round up any escapees. This is what George Soros did.
George helped confiscate property from Jewish refugees. Among the Jewish refugees that he turned in and were found was his father. He assisted his mother in committing suicide during the Nazi occupation and commended her for joining the "Hemlock Society".1
In Tivadar Soros memoir titled Masquerade, he writes his memories of escaping from the Nazis who were looking for refugees. The Nazis had been tipped off to hundreds of locations of refugees by Judenrat and George Soros, who was aware of what his father was doing and his location and movement. George, on many accounts, admitted to what he had done - giving away positions that is. Tivadar Soros narrowly escapes a Nazi group searching for Jews which the Judenrat tipped them off about, which George Soros was a member of.

If you let one candidate use your bathroom you gotta have all candidates use your bathroom. MULTIPLE SOURCES - that's what intelligent people use. You assume sheep like you have all the answers. I know many trump supporters but almost no Hillary supporters. I see signs for trump everywhere as well but have yet to see a single Clinton sign. Texas is largely the establishment Republican state from what I see. I believe the reason the he's low in Texas is because the lack of Republican support. this means lower voter turnout, not a switch to Clinton. people here can't stand here. I spent the first 17 years of my life as a mormon, and although I could spend all day telling you about all of the flaws in the religion, Cenk is spot-on in his observation about mormons sympathizing with religious refugees (ESPECIALLY Utah mormons). Also, mormons are pretty well educated. There are a number of other difficult-to-recognize factors that make mormon voters tick, but that's absolutely one of them. Kudos to Cenk for spotting it!

I am Mormon and once the church heard about the muslims bans and stoping Sirian Refugees, issued a letter that every mormon family should welcome refugees at home, period, the apostles called to participate in this election which they said was "ugly" so now we have McMullin.

The main idea behind McMullin candidacy, in the minds of most of his supporters, is to get enough electoral votes to prevent either side from getting a majority and thus take the decision to the senate. If I've understood this correctly. The senate could then elect anyone, but it would probably have to be a candidate with some electoral votes, and thus McMullin might actually have a shot. The thing is, the race hasn't look like that for a while now. Trump's numbers have been going down and his possibilities to get a majority is tiny at best. So in order for that initial idea to materialize, McMullin would have to take electoral votes from Clinton, not Trump. Problem is, none of the states where he is either winning or has some sort of a shot of winning are ones where Clinton would be winning, so he is not going to take one single electoral vote from Clinton.
What his possible victory in Utah and somewhat possible victory somewhere else might do though, is send a message to the Republican Party and possibly empower conservative voters in those states.

Criticize their religion all you want (and I do, I live in Gilbert AZ the highest concentration of LDS/Mormon people outside of Utah) but the one thing Mormons do is care. Their whole community is built on the (Christian) values of love thy neighbor and be kind so turning a blind eye and kicking out people who need help goes against everything the Church if Latter Day Saints stands for.
