I'm Korean-American. This haircut seems like an updated version of the bowl cut my parents would give me in the 90s. I mean this in a good way haha. What you point out about keeping the clipper work low is so true! Many non-Asian barbers get this wrong, and the sides grow out almost perpendicularly from our heads.
Amazing lesson!!!! Thanks for sharing! I have a client with this hair type but doesn't sit quite still. I get intimidated when trying to cut this type of hair on a moving target.
This tutorial was very useful when dealing with very straight hair and how to cut it to suit the client’s face shape and I will see you tomorrow for my appointment
I think this particular client would struggle to part his hair. Some people have a natural parting and if you have one then try to work with that. Otherwise it’s going to require the use of good quality products.
Thank you. Something elder I probably should have said about straight hair is to keep your sections very thin. This can also be a good way to prevent choppiness.
Great video Mike, the tip for breaking up that fringe will be super useful. Never cut that type of hair yet but really good to know how to tackle it when it comes along. Wavy hair is my favourite to cut. Straight hair is very unforgiving.
Glad it helps, keep this video in mind Jo when you cut very straight hair as caution is super important, it really needs lots of length so you have enough weight to keep it flat.
Gosto muito dos seus conteúdos. Tenho vontade de comprar seu curso, mas o valor é alto pra mim. Por enquanto vamos aprendendo com suas dicas aqui no UA-cam. Forte abraço Brasil.
Thank you. There is also a lot of good information for free and in Portuguese on my channel. Check out all my most watched videos and in the settings select audio and you will be able to watch in Portuguese 🇵🇹 🇧🇷
Hey sure of course I got it from elevate grooming, I have an orange and purple. They are my favourite combs. www.elevate-pro.com/product-page/elevate-pro-comb-101

That’s the truth, and there is no going back once it’s taken too high.

I feel for you, this type of hair cut needs precision, can't imagine the kid moving around.

Cool mark I see you are in this afternoon see you then 👍👍✂️
That’s a really great video. Any tips on diagonal or side parting for this type of hair? Thanks!!!

Thanks! Have been waiting for this one. My son has such straight hair and it is so hard to get it not choppy looking.

Beautiful job ! Love the technique you used for the front, will be using this on my next oriental client ! Thanks from me “ American barber!💈💈💈
You are so welcome! I hope the technique helps. I also use it on all hair types. The main use for me is when there is too much bulk on the fringe.
Bahut achcha cutting kar rahe ho bhai

thank you so much. I like the hairstyle of Boisar Saitif. Can you put that one too? Or at least tell me the name of the model so I can research it?
