So grateful to this video. Thanks UrbanArkOverland. Just purchased the same kit and was scratching my head over the install. It has answered all my questions. Thanks Dude.
Thanks for a really helpful video. I need to check that the frame will go where I want it in my LWB Crafter - I'm looking at having a sideways settee in front of the double seat. I'll be out in the road under the van first thing!
Thanks for sharing. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and im in dilema about having passenger seats v couch style in that area and maybe both with this now hmm
I nearly bought one of these, i went for something else in the end on safety grounds (my own personal opinion) but it was still very interesting to see how it is fitted. thanks.
@@urbanarkoverland My concerns did not center around the actual seat frame, as you say in the video, it is super strong and sturdy and in the event of an accident will very likely stay put. However, can the same be said of the lightweight ply box the kids will be sat on? God forbid an accident occurs but if it does, will my kids find themselves still securely strapped to the frame but now sat down in a heap on top of the truma and other gubbins because the box has collapsed?!? (in every crash test video, this box always fails) This doom thought made me go for a 'full frame' type, but hopefully the Evo box is nice and strong and will stand up to scrutiny or maybe some additional 'strengthening' elements can be added to it ?? Interesting to get your thoughts on that and how you intend to mitigate these worries? Anyway, enough doom and gloom, I'm enjoying your videos, very informative and easy to watch. all the best.
@@superstrings4768 I do hear what your saving actually. But my thoughts are bud he is in a seat. That is strapped in. Even if the seat dismantles around him. He will basically be floating in his seat if the seatbelt does his job. If a side impact is big enough to push the side of the van in by two feet then we are in trouble anyway. Thanks for your comments. Appreciate the support. 👍🏻
Hello. Believe me or not there are no good instructions in Italy available even that is likely produced by an italian company called CTA. A huge thanks for making available this video. Please add two #hastags to somewhere to this video. #Cta #smartkit #seatbeltframe will help you to increase hits. Cheers and thanks again.
Many thanks for this video, it has given me the solution I was looking for for installing my double passenger seat behind the driver's seat. Is that threaded rod that's used 10mm or 12mm?
Thanks for putting this video out there. Looks like a great product. Just wondering if you could answer a few questions for me. Did the seats go through your MOT ok? And did you run into any problems with your insurance having fitted them yourself? Also I’m looking to install 2 in my LWB Sprinter facing each other. From the insights gained during your install do you think that would work? Thanks for your help. Going off to watch your weight saving tips now. Nice work.
Hi. The law is very strange on rear seats. Like there isnt one. It really. Just inform insurance of seat number. You will be fine. I’m sure that they sell a rear facing seat. This one can’t be used the other way. But I’m sure there is one 👍🏻
hi mate im wanting to buy this frame but i cant find where id get the seats to attach to it have you a video on this or a link to the place you bought them thanks
@@urbanarkoverland Thanks. Expensive but worth it! I was looking at all different standard seats that would fit but that is much better! Glad that one will fit my Relay. 👍🏼
@@sho77y it’s not that bad in the end. My factory style seats turned out to be a lot more after upholstery. Can get cheaper. Depends what you are after. I love the fact the boiler goes here. I was boiling in bed with the boiler in garage area.
@@urbanarkoverland I bet you were! I need to be cool when I sleep. I have my bedroom window open even in the winter. The misses hates it haha. Looking forward to seeing part 2.
