Ive got a GC 600 and live in Aberdeenshire but am originally from Morpeth. We were in the same car park in Aviemore a few weeks ago, small world. Keep making the great videos guys!

I’d absolute love to do it but 1 problem no van😢 before my daughter was born me & my partner went on a road trip to Rome in a (cooper s) & on the way back we went up stelvio pass look that up, if want a challenge and views it’s a really nice drive keep posting those videos looks awesome

is it? we are heading over that way today with the intention of doing the islands of mull etc but with the winds the ferry quite possibly might get cancelled in which case ill take your advice and head up that way instead!

Great Vans. Magical landscape. How long are your vans? All 6 metres? Or is there also a 680 or 7 metre? I've been to Scotland twice with a rented 6 metre van. Loved the roads. Would now like to buy my own. MAN 4x4 680 - Now I'd like to know if I can still use it to drive Applecross, Drumbeg, Glen Etive, Hushinis,... all the beautiful narrow and winding roads. So theoretically? Of course, I still have to get used to the dimensions and practise at home in Germany.

Next time you're up skip Fort Bill. Instead take the Corran Ferry over to Ardnamurchan peninsula and soak it up . Sanna Bay, Lighthouse, Kilchoan, ferry over to Mull. And some of the best (but windey) roads and scenery.
Stayed on the site you rode onto in aviemore , great beach
We there normally once every few weeks, love the campsite but in the winter we go where we did in the video which is the car park next door to it and just stay there for the night.

What brand was the long orange hooded fleece being worn at the end of Applecross?
Would be epic to be able to afford one of these. Currently in the 4 - 10k price bracket, which buys a lot of milage, worn engines and reliability left to be desired. On top of that a bunch of works to convert something that may blow a headgasket tomorrow. #Demoralised

What type of tyres are used on these vans ?
Technically 2 of the vehicles are volkwagen, the worst mpg being 4wd. They'll both have the same engine, unless 1 is a twin turbo

@@ChrisSloanes don't buy a 4x4 sprinter then, mine isn't good on fuel now I'm building it out and have fatter tyres on but then I didn't buy it for its economy🤣🤣🤣

Im upset y’all get better mpg then my 03 explorer… going 65 best i seen in 1200 miles was 23mpg but on average with being a little happy on the gas I averaged about 18mpg

@@ChrisSloanes yes, but I saw other smaller manufactures that use the same roof ( identical shape ) so i think that vw buy the roof and than install on the van
