When twisting your bantu knots on natural hair, you always want to be extremely gentle with your hair.
If you are not careful with your hair, that will reflect in the health of your hair.
Too much rough handling on your tresses will result in split and damaged ends which in the long run stunt the growth of your hair.
Wearing this protective style is great in retaining length but if you always comb aggressively or handle your hair in a rough manner, many of your hair saving methods will go to waste.
Also, remember when you do a bantu knot out on your hair that you twist in the fashion that you would like for your hair to lay on your head.

Why leave negative comments on this young lady's page. She is here to educate us on how to manage and increase our knowledge of natural hair and styles. She does not need pointers on how to do her videos as there are no distractions as with some of the other videos. She speaks the way she does to make sure you understand. If her style of educating is not to your satisfaction please move on to the Next subscriber. Stop tearing people down.

For anyone struggling with hairstyle definition in 4c hair, the perfect alternative bantu knot style would be to flat two-strand twist hair then finger curl the ends with a creamy leave-in conditioner then apply hair rollers to hold the ends (overnight or just a few hours for hold), the results are pleasing and similar.

Thank goodness you have nice soft quiet music in the back grown as well as a "white wall" in the back grown. This combination makes a wonderful video because people can hear what you are saying and can see what you are doing. Thanks for a wonder video. Many others need to learn from you.

I2m here in 2019 and honey you did a wonderful video. I subscribed as soon as I saw your video. Very well spoken, so knowledgeable and precise and I love the quiet music in the background. So many people think they need trap music in their videos to make it worth watching. Some of us actually just want to learn. I can listen to trap music in my own time. Thank you for being you and not conforming to other people's silly ideals and thank you for the informative video!

A lot of times, chemical processes can make our hair very damaged and porous. A protein treatment might help it perk back up and add some life to your curls. :) I do one at home that's made of real mayonaise, olive oil, and eggs! I have 3b curly hair, and this is how I treated my hair after I transitioned from Japanese straightening perm to my natural curls.I hope this helps!
