You really know your hair and how to work it. AND I am so glad to see you using the Clear Ice gel. Everybody's so big on ECO Styling Gel...but you know what, that Clear Ice with Protein leaves my hair silky and soft, even when it's dry; and ECO sucks on my hair, doesn't hold well, whitens, and dries out my hair.

It's all about experimenting. With my hair and my daughters hair I add an oil 1st then I do gel it gives a good hold while remaining both shiny and soft

You look amazing. I've watched several videos on how to do these Bantu knots and I really envy women like yourself with hair that holds a curl so beautifully. I've got this weird Jewish/Asian mix of hair issues (I appreciate my background - my hair, not so much) and I can't get it straight w/o frizz and yet it won't curl nicely, either. I have tried many different treatments but I often just want to shave it all off. :-/ I tried doing these types of knots the night before last and they didn't come out great but then it was my first try so perhaps I just need to keep working at it.
