    Great video! I will be looking at buying one of these after Christmas for commuting to work as a far more economical option to my current Audi S3 8P.

    Great review! Honesty all the way. Loads of respect to you.Thinking of changing my 2.2 litre Rav 4 for a 1.5 diesel Fiesta. Lower emissions, less than 100 co2’s per mile, nil tax, lower insurance, 76 mpg etc. Great little cars. Whats not to like? Sad to hear about your mate. Hope everything has settled down now for him since losing his mum. Awful! Hope the Covid has gone, if that’s what you had. Will watch more of your vids. Thanks a lot my friend!

      I now have a fabia vrs still very economical and reliable but also get more power but no doubt the fiesta had a better stereo and looks and Bluetooth and many other things I preferred

    Looking to buy a fiesta zetec automatic 2011. My brother thinks millage is a bit high 75.000 and also to high for the price of £4,500 any thoughts people, dose that sound reasonable.

      75,000 is not high milage but 4.5 grand is high

    • @dobbo4596
      @dobbo4596 3 роки тому

      The wheel wobble at 60 is more than likely just a balance on the fronts, or maybe not so good tyres , my 61 zs came with 17s but i think it was part of a street pack i may be wrong on that but also have full leather and rear tints all on the factory spec sheet from ford (which i have somewhere) great little car.

    Absolutely fantastic video and loving the car, I’m late to the whole driving scene, I really want this as my first car, I’m 24 years old and I have my driving test in 1 month. Would anyone know roughly how much it would be to insure this car for a first car at 24 year old? Thanks very much, enjoyed the video. Subbed.

    • @jamiepudney

      Appreciate the comments mate I would start with gocompare.com for car insurance quotes or any site like compare the market to see what you come up with prices cary on age location in or out of garage so many different factors mate thanks for enjoying the content 👍

      To give you an idea, ive been driving since a month before my 18th (I'm now 21) and my quotes are currently between £650 for a black box (which tbf you should stick with just for a year to help get it down as a new driver) but without is about £850 for me. My first car was a Clio Campus 1.2 16V 2006 and that was £1100 for its first year, then £850 and last year has been £650. Id suspect for your age and as a new driver, id budget for over £1000 at least but could be wrong. Hopefully that helps.

      @@vanillatography1544 thanks very much for your reply mate, 2 months ago I bought a little ‘02 corsa to practise in, i managed to insure it for £550/£45 a month, which I was very pleased with, no black box or anything. I’ve now gave it to my sister. I have my driving test in 3 days and fingers if I pass, I’m going to buy a Zetec S :)

      @vanillatography1544 3 роки тому

      @@Conzyy No worries mate, glad it helps. That's decent then, hopefully that helps a lot with practicing etc. Just bear in mind that in my experience a learner driver's insurance is always lower (mainly because it's unlikely you'll drive it often without supervision etc.) and therefore would prepare for a fairly decent increase of over a thousand still when you become an independent driver. and although its sucky, stick with the blackbox for a year if you can and just get the insurance down which hopefully for your age will drop quite quickly. Thats great to hear, I hope it goes well and you smash it, although not literally like I did (On my first I came to a T junction and panicked, turned in and smashed a wingmirror lol) but that was because I was overthinking it. Pretend the instructor isn't there, you do you and don't overthink it. Driving is easy as once you pass and its their job to see how you react under pressure so just bear that in mind and enjoy the experience. Oh and do as Captain Price says: Check them corners!... whoops I mean mirrors.

    What sort of mpg you averaging? I’m looking at 17 mile commute to work usually 55-60 mph. Sorry if in vid couldn’t watch it all on my work break

    • @jamiepudney
      @jamiepudney  3 роки тому +1

      So if your doing that speed you will easily achieve 60mpg all day long.
      And probably get 420 to 450 miles to a tank in winter and 500 in summer
