Such a refreshing style of presenting, Matt; no crazy thumbnails and misleading titles, no wild gesticulating. It sets you apart from so many other UA-camrs, and you're all the better for it. And it's so great to see everyday cars bought, refurbed and sold. Keep up the good work.
I wish they wouldn’t park them in bay 13! Typical boy racer car but why on earth leave a car to get into that state?
Best part: no e-begging!! (no click here to see this, no pop out banner.. cof cof, looking at you carwow...)
Like salvage rebuilds uk
Just the car vertical stuff gets boring . Its the same old add all the time 😢
I always fast forward through that bit for the same reason. 🙂@@chriswilliams9832
The can of stella and mcdonalds packets inside a rough fiesta zetec S screams boy racer 🤣🤣
I was think more of a scally ha ha
@MrCheswickMusic baseball cap would be a giveaway
@@MrCheswickMusic hahaha
Typical chavs type car! 😂
More some rough arse single mum
I’d definitely buy a car from Matt. Seems like a really genuine guy.
not an audi tt though
@@dontpanicblink😂😂😂
He definitely is.
Well, he has a lovely Fiesta ZS TDCI for sale lol
I would buy all his stock
This fiesta model is a genuine classic, a now 15 year old design and looks completely fresh, particularly in this grey as a zetec S. bravo Matt keeping one on the road!
Imagine the state of their homes if they keep the car like that
Will be on benefits and living rent free without a care in the world
her husband said she was a dirty b1tch, every time he tried to pee in the sink it was full of dishes
It's often an opposite scenario, awful house tidy car, or tidy house awful car
@danpaul4975 or tidy for both home and car if you have some self respect 🤷🏽♂️
That’s a 17 year olds car. Booze cans and snacks gives it away.
Another car saved from the scrap heap. Love seeing the effort and transformation you put in. Well done, Sir!
I own one of these and they are just lovely. And I can confirm the shabby paintjob is a common Fiesta driver problem, we always sideswipe everything. Thank you for not giving up this car, it’s always nice to see them on the roads! Keep up the good work Matt!!
The channel that keeps on giving. I like the style, chilled but in a serious way. No overexcited babble and some dry humour. Love it. I bought a Fiat Panda Twinair 4x4 on the strength of one of Matt’s reviews. Loving that too.
I love these type of videos, keep em coming!
Those alloy wheels are hideous, I hate aftermarket alloy wheels! 🤢
Agreed - the wheels are hideous
Yep, let’s look better
Matt, love your videos. Through these videos you have succeeded in producing a truly reliable brand. This has to be worth a fortune as many companies spend a huge amount to build trust with its customers and fail. If I lived in Britain (I’m in Australia) I would definitely buy a car from you. Keep up the great work. Vic 👍😀🇦🇺
Wow, thank you!
This guy deserves at least a couple of million subs with the amount of quality content he puts out regularly.
I knew the interior would be a biohazard! Your valeter needs to be on danger money Matt!! Great content as always and a nice turnaround.
But at least Matt didn't 'massively overspend'
a Canary
Opening that boot and seeing the McDonalds Ketchup was the cherry on top 🤣
I wish more Dealers was like Matt, with very Decent morals, sometimes it's not all about the money,
Well done Matt, 👏
Friend had 1.6 zetec S petrol. That was surprisingly brisk, keen to rev and handled well. Nice upgrade from his previous corsa 1.2. Don't remember a single fault with it other than the choice of music that was played through the stereo. He replaced it with another this time a 1.0 ecoboost zetec S.
I have the 1.6 petrol Titanium X auto on a 13 plate. It does everything I want in comfort. It'll do over a ton and I get 45 mpg.
@@sk1nzsk1nz34 I think that might be peak Fiesta. In practice the 1.0 3 cylinders are barely any more economical and they are far more complex. And complex of course means more stuff to go wrong.
@@paultasker7788They are not nicknamed "Ecoboom" for nothing.
The ecoboost was the worst engine I've ever owned, got rid of it and got a 1.6 ti-vct petrol, best decision I've ever made 😂
This thing has the build quality of a TV remote control its an absolute bucket typically a Ford.
Hello Matt, nice little car and what a transformation. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged
I love these videos Matt & love the fact your saving cars from the scrapyard hopefully you get a run of decent ones that you can make a profit on cause you deserve to be rewarded, bless your cotton socks 👍⭐️
They saw you coming with that one Matt. Having had a Fiesta diesel, they are generally not a bad car. I had mine from new on a salary sacrifice and it was maintained to within an inch of its life. However when it was returned the driver wrote it off on the way to Manheim.
Really turned that round Matt!!........most would have just run, but you have done this car proud - any youngster would love it.
Kudos to your mechanic, body shop and not forgetting the brilliant work done by the valeters - it pays to have good reliable professional people to work with.
I'm sure this will sell quickly.
Steve
You've done alright by that car Matt, it looks a good motor now. Someone will buy that pretty quickly. Yes, you won't make much money out of it but you've provided an opportunity for someone else to pick up a decent priced car and stay on the road/get to work etc.
On the plus side, you’ve saved a good car and made a great video as always Matt. Keep up the great work
Hi Matt
Reminds me of my daughters Ford car
Parked in Victoria Park whilst at Salford uni
Wrecked by the local student environment over three years
Radio in the boot
Mirrors knocked off
Super glued drivers door lock 😂😂😂
Good reliable transport though
She loved it
Finished & sold it on to another student
once she got a job ✌🏼
Good luck Matt
Stay positive
Cheap parts etc ✌🏼
Thanks for posting 👏🏾👏🏾🙏
The mythical Jimmy has done some excellent work, yet again. I need that man's details!
I still think this model of Fiesta is the best looking car it’s made in years imho. You should be proud of the transformation 👍🏻
In Northern Ireland we have 7 MOT Test Centres (garages are not permitted to MOT). Each have 5 lanes similar to boarding a Ferry. The car mounts the system and comes out the other end, pass or fail. If failed you must re-book again and wait a few weeks for re-testing. In the meantime the car cannot be taxed or insured. If an accident occurs, the driver is liable for all costs and Penalty Points on licence.
It’s the same in Spain. Much less likely to get a bent one
The eco boost gave fiesta a bad name but the non ecobooms are extremely good cars. You got the check the sills though they terrible for needing replacing. I had to do one on a 12 plate - unacceptable really
Not just the Ecoboost engine(s), but the Powershift DCT as well. Thar also gave the Focus of this era a bad reputation.
@@damilolaakanni very true
I love how you see the potential in rough looking cars. Another car saved from the breakers.
Brilliant video as always.
Looking forward to the next 🙂👍
Being so cheerful - keeps you going!!
Love it Matt, keep the videos coming❤
You've done it again Matt, and it wasn't a fruitless venture, you earned countless smiles from all your fans, and I'm one of them.
but no money
@@user-vz7sg5mn2w The video should earn a few quid....192,000 views !!
Another great turnaround. I'm becoming addicted to car transformations. The gateway drug in my case was Wheeler Dealers. I like all Matt's stuff and I even watch car detailers transforming the appearance of filthy cars. More please!
Matt, that was one of the best transformations so far!
Love the vids Matt. Small suggestion: When running through overall costs, itemise each item on screen and provide a total. Text is easier to compute! Keep up the good work.
Matt, I think you like the challenge of these as much as the good video and potential profit. And keeping a savable car on the road. That's what comes across to me.
Again a car turned around and well sorted. As ever great work done.
Another immaculate restoration, seriously well done Matt !! 🎉 When/should it be time to replace the "work car" the ONLY place I'll consider will be of course HPA, I genuinely mean it. 👌
Great vid as usual
How bad was the dent in the door and much did it cost to fix?
You seem to have a good team of suppliers that do work for you quite cheaply
It would be nice to have a vid once a month or quarterly highlight which cars gave the best profit and experience and the worst profit or greatest loss or bad experience
It was worth saving and you made a great job of it! Just not financially the wisest decision 😬 but a good one for us subscribers 😀👍🏻 nice one Matt👍🏻
Thanks!
I’m a driving instructor, and over the years i’ve used many cars, from BMW 1 Series to Audi A3’s, but by far the best car to learn and teach in has been the Mk6 ford fiesta 2008-2016 (diesels). currently teach in a Mk7 now but really miss the old one.
I had one of these for the last 3 years until i recently sold for a mk7 gti. Great car with just enough power to have fun, and handles surprisingly well!
May have been better to dip the headlights in the canal .😂 .but another one saved super vid as usual ❤
I think driving it into the canal would have been both more fun and cheaper
Hi Matt, where I saw this one i actually shouted at the TV scrap it so I was very surprised the way you turned it round good luck with a sale cheers Phil from Newark
another great video Matt - keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
Crazy to think of a mk7 09 fiesta as an old car, I had a 2009 fiesta titanium in vision blue absolutely loved the literally the thing unlike this thing I cleaned it obsessively it was my absolute pride and joy when I was 17-19 and then because im stupid I sold it to buy a mini.
Also a great shame that this car isn’t ULEZ compliant either.
Anything around 2007 and under is considered old.
@@tomjardine100in the uk yeah because of rust. In Spain it’s not that old
Well, at least you didn't sit on your sunglasses.
Happy belated birthday Matt!
All things said and done, other than normal maintenance and things that were physically broken, there didn't appear to be much wrong with this little Fiësta. Pretty strong car, I'm happy it got a new lease of life.
Great Video and content
Hi Matt. Love your work 👍
These engines were fitted into all sorts of cars so these engines are quite common.
I remember these engines existed on the Volvo V40 D2 and Ford Fiestas.
The V40 D2 is the 1.6 8v 115 engine this is the 1.6 16v variant
At least the seller was relatively honest about the condition of the car… unlike the seller of the TT you recently purchased! 🤦🏻♂️ great viewing as usual 👌🏻😉
What a intro there Matt. Looking very cool in your mercedes convertible.. What a car that is...
I just bought a 60 plate Saab convertible and loving it😊😊
Couple of years ago bought one of these for my sons first car, they are brilliant and easy to work on. Check the spare wheel well for water as they are prone to leaking from the vents behind the rear bumper, sealant and tape fixed ours!
Recently bought one of these for my girlfriend for £1350. Hers was much better cared for than this one. It has some stone chips and back bumper is slightly deformed but it drives really well and gets 60mpg. That engine is quite torquey and goes well in a little car too.
At that money if it last a year we will be happy.
Our God son bought one of these (5 door but otherwise the same as this even down to the awful aftermarket alloys) with 160,000 miles on it, and as far as I know, it’s still going strong. He’s loves it.
Don’t know about the Fiesta but love your old cars and the convertible is a great example.
You've saved another one and created great content/advertisement for your business 👍🏻
Very entertaining. Thanks for another interesting video!
I do hope your customers appreciate the work you put into your cars and refer you to others in need of a good car, cause you are truly a diamond in the rough. Well done for saving another car from the wreckers.
"I've massively overspent" 😂😂😂 hopefully not
no change there then
Simply the greatest car rescuer on the planet 😁 and the patience of a saint 💪
Haha thanks
I love your insights into the motor trade. People think it's a easy job and that you get to drive nice cars but they don't see the hard work and commitment, and like this car it can be a gamble. Not to mention the customers. I think dealing with customers would put me off being in the motor trade but I suppose its a mixed bag
I had a 2009 1.4 Fiesta 3 door as a bit of stock, really good cars but not surprised as Ford were making great cars during that era. The Fiesta and Focus are both brilliant, I am a big fan of the Focus in particular, it’s just a shame Ford decided to discontinue both.
I’ve got a 2011 3 door 1.4 Fiesta and I love it. 96hp in a small car like it is more than enough. Nips along great, corners so well, comfortable, easy to drive, and surprisingly spacious too. Absolutely fantastic little cars and was just waiting for one to feature on this channel. Shame it had to be this poor, abused, boy racer one 😢
@@CMS-qo3wz Ford make some good handling cars, they don’t need to be ST or RS to be fun, I have a 2010 Ford Focus 1.6 and may not be the fastest but nippy and handles brilliantly, had MK1 Focuses before and they were also great.
@@snbala completely agree. Love taking it along the backroads cos it just darts along with ease. Such a shame that the fiesta and focus will be no more. Definitely a mistake to get rid of their best selling cars
@@CMS-qo3wz it’s just the whole SUV/Crossover craze and I think they were a bit fed up because both the Fiesta and Focus weren’t no 1 and no 2 anymore in the sales charts, I will continue to support the Focus as I rather a hatchback over an SUV/Crossover anyday
@@snbala great minds think alike. I’ll be doing the exact same thing.
It doesnt make business sense ,but only because of the absurd VAT rules youre violated by.From an eco point of view ,what you do is far greener than any new electric vehicle could ever be.The car exists and is now refurbished for many more years of use.Kudos to you Matt.Great channel.
Just on this, he has to pay VAT on sales but reclaims it through purchases so it's not a cost
Not to mention the money made from the video for this car negates some of the costs
Been watching for years Matt don’t even worry the bounce back will be televised 🫡
i loved the " i wonder if it's had a cam belt" looking at the state of the exterior, the internal workings have zero chance!
I think your description of “foul” is spot on. I think driving it into the canal would probably be for the best. Not liking this one, hash bashed, used & abused👎🏼
Aftermarket wheels always look cheap and naff. Why do people bother with them?
Cheap ones do look bad
@@justinn6865I've never seen a good looking set. Even when someone has spent thousands on a set of wheels for an Aston Martin or something similar they always look naff to my eyes. Standard wheels always look better as far as I'm concerned.
Honestly
Although you didn't make a profit, Matt, we love to see these unloved cars transformed into presentable, genuinely nice ones, so thank you very much for the great content!
Another lovely job Matt 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍
Another great video & another car saved !
Matt thanks for being so brutaly straight and up front on the prep you put into the car.
When buying a 10 yr old car which would you recomend:
1- car with full Service history and what appears to be in good roadworthy condition, mot etc. Or
2- a cheap car similar condition to the car in the video and fix it up?
With the latter you know everything has been fixed and with the correct maintenance sho last for a good number of years. Where as with option 1 you never know if there is an under lying problem just waiting to happen.
Great turnaround!
Great video and good job for saving another car ❤
Rather than leaning in across the seats, I think you can hold the unlock button on the fob to open the windows
Must be said it looks great now it's been fixed up. Good content as always, Matt.
you have done a great job on that fiesta! you always do a great job, but what a transformation!
Love these videos a proper highlight of the day, I will say though try come up with something different than "well we're here" everytime you arrive at the car 😂. Seriously though great work as always!
Had the 1.6 petrol Zetec s 2008, good car apart from horrendous Road noise entering the cabin from the wheel arches. And the seat belt warning alarm going of continuously when the belts are actually on ! Then going off and reoccurring at random times.
Good MPG 50 ish on a motorway run at 70 mph.
What a transformation!......looks fantastic 🙂
Done a nice job considering the state it was in great video as always
Hello Again. Matt you never learn !! however its great content to watch, plus lessons and tips for the people watching as they look for vehicles to buy or maybe the standard that a vehicle needs to be to sell for the money they expect !!! Regarda, RichardA.
The rough car was parked in the dreaded
BAY 13!
Another great video Matt.
Nice ride Matt!
You did a great job bringing this car back to life. Also, we share the same birthday!🎉
The ford badge at the front could have done with a change .. would finish it off nicely
Well done Matt, lets just hope the next person looks after it as you have 👍
I admire your fortitude
“Was that Stella?”
“It was Stella!!”
