I honestly don't mind a bootleg if it's something super rare and at a discount price as long as it's good quality but for common items it sucks I bought a Shaw Brothers movie called the 5 deadly venoms it was a Hong Kong special at $3 and free shipping took 2 months to get here cover was blurry disc was badly printed on in plane red letters but the movie was great quality and to me that is what matters in the rare movies.

The seller has well over 600 ratings at 100%, but she says for this sale she was buying from another seller and drop shipping to me. I agree with you I always check ratings before even thinking about bidding, and that is great advice for ll of us.
I have a question. I bought a movie from eBay. The case looks like it would be from the movie. But on the case, it says PG-13 (which is the rating of the movie) but on the disk it says rated R. What do you think?
Just to clarify but ebay/amazon are some of the safer places to purchase items as they have a good buyers protection. I don't even think a phone call was even necessary to be honest. Im sure it didnt hurt. But the protocop is to contact seller and fill out the claim and one or the other will refund you without issue.
No doubt and my experience with both Amazon and eBay has been very good. Still, it's always possible to get a bootleg from eBay and even from a third party seller on Amazon. I was gad I contacted someone as when you write a seller it can take days or even weeks before you get a refund. I had a refund within an hour or two or receiving the package.
Hi Todd, The seller doesn't want it back because she was given a refund and the original seller also got refund...lol...the guy in China apparently took the loss. I'll buy the blu-ray set as soon as the price comes own a bit.
This bootleg actually looks terrible. Not convincing at all.
It sucks that there are sellers out there dealing in bootlegs, but if you got your money back, you should send the seller his dvds back.

The people who do this should get thrown in jail is it legal to copy something and try to sell it to make money

Drop shipping is against ebay TOS unless big brand like Target.
I hate bootlegs, sorry about that man! Great video though!
