I don’t know who is doing the filming, but it is magical. This channel really has an eye for topography and beauty. Keep it up….And more Satoshi commentary! Love that deep soothing voice.
You know the food is good when Shinichi says "Hello" to it.😆 This place looks so fun and the characters are so cute. I'd love to go there someday. Glad you had a good trip. Thanks guys!😊
I mean, the food content was great as always but my absolute favorite part of the video was the shots of the lake with the clouds reflected in the almost perfectly still blue water.
We went there 3 years ago before pandemic hit, my son 6 year old that time was so excited to see all those Kitaro characters. We actually saw some characters walking around the street and took some pictures with them. Of course, we tried eyeballs snacks as well! It was so nice to watch you guys visited there!
Hey Shinichi, I ran into your mom and sister here in Honolulu yesterday and they were as nice in person as they are in your videos. I told them that your videos in Hawaii were a big help in me deciding to move here and they wished me good luck on my trip to Japan next week. Just wanted to say hi in case they were watching this.
Grateful for everything you post! When I was first pregnant with my daughter (1 year old now!), my morning sickness was so bad that some days I could hardly eat ANYTHING without gagging. Watching you try lots of yummy things while eating anything i could stomach (bland toast, crackers, plain rice, etc.) helped so much. Still love watching your vids when I’m cooking or having a snack. 😅❤
Sakai Minato City looks like a lot of fun! And so picturesque. I loved the Goblin Shrine and all the tasty Kitarō-inspired treats. I'm going to have to rewatch some GeGeGe no Kitarō now, if I can find full episodes. Love to you both.❤❤
Loved the video! I’ve never heard of that town! The next time I go to Japan I would love to visit there! Who knew Japan had a town with such a fun theme! Thank you for covering it and sharing it!
Those eyes were spooky Satoshi but they looked great 👍 to eat. This series is wonderful to watch the locations are gorgeous and the local markets and eateries are amazing. Japan really has alot to offer love it. ❤️
I spent way too much time in Sakaiminato in 2019. I think I stayed three nights? There's very little to do there and I spent most of the time in Izumo, Matsue, and Yonago. Next time (if I go again) I'm staying in Matsue. In fact, I had to eat at Lawson for three days because there was nothing open in the off season (I was there at the end of September/start of October). The best part was the ability to get away to Matsue on a morning bus. Oh, and I walked across the Eshima bridge in the rain. It's a nice enough view but really not as impressive as you'd think.
Satoshi had no hesitation with the hazuko 😂😂😂 This looks like a refreshing fun time! I love the blast from the past feel the cute little town has! Would those little treats be considered Monaka?
I like the sake bottles with the labels!!! I know the anime but never watched it (did watch other yokai anime like Natsume's book of friends). The food looks delicious. The diy monaka is genius, indeed it stays crispy this way :) It's great that you can sent these foods like crab to your family in Japan.
Thanks guys, enjoyed this vlog. Just realized I was with you guys since 2017!! You guys looks so young then! (and so do I!) Satoshi was cooking tonkatsu.. love your old theme music.
What a great little town. Thank you for traveling to all of these lovely different areas in Japan. I think it’s one of the most beautiful countries. My daughter and son-in-law planned to come in 2020 but we know what happened there. They must re-plan there trip. Hopefully one day I will make it as well. Take care of yourselves. I so enjoy watching your channels! 💕
One of my first cosplays before UA-cam was Kitaro. I've only actually seen a live action movie the dubbed in English. I loved it! Wish I could see the anime.
aha! a street food tour! I believe that was one of the first times i ever saw your channel. You were one of my first ever youtoubers, and because of you Snachi i have my own channel! You were very incuraging and told me I should start one. so thank you, I wanted to let you know i did.
You guys have been having some interesting adventures this month! The mail box for mail delivered 5 years in the future, that would be a great memory for the trip in the future! Take care guys.
Going to binge watch all your content soon with my little brother so whenever we go to Japan we'll go to the spots you went too :) Thanks for the relaxing and fun videos as always ❤
(Goblin Town)- What an interesting and charming place, guys. I would have enjoyed seeing inside ALL of that *Goblin Shrine. Would also be interesting if within the town there was a *formal restaurant. Wonder how that little Goblin subculture would express in more formal, meditative dining and food? Your closing shots on that beach - very beautiful views, wow. Loved this. Much thanks.
Have been to Sakae Minato in 2019, nice place but except for the museum the shoping and maybe the youkai warehouse (ghost house by some private guy) there isn't much to do I think.
Do the Japanese not do recreational boating? Those bodies of water would be wonderful to put a boat out on for skiing or just being on the water. A lake like in nice weather that would be full of boats where I live.

This video was especially fun, glad you guys went and brought us along
Goblin Town is a great place to visit so close to Halloween.
I absolutely love GeGeGe no Kitaro. The new series really opened it up to the West. I'd love to visit there one day
The best way is to read the manga the mangaka style is a classic
Satoshis goblin transformation was so funny!

I know very little of Japan but everything I see I love. Thank you for taking me along. Hi from Santa Cruz California USA.
Seeing Japan's countryside makes me always wanna rewatch Natsume Yuujinchou from start to finish.
It's so good to see how much more confident Satoshi is now . Even doing jokes

I’ve only watched the 2018 gegege no kitarou, but I really liked it, and I really wanna go there 🥲 themed foods are the best
