Ahhh, the casually delicious dining that is konbini! 😋 As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the salads, smoothies, ice creams, puddings, and breads. I also _love_ kakiage when it's made without meat/seafood. My guilty pleasure would be the jyari pan with it's granulated sugar and shortening filling. 😆It's the same crunchy "icing" that fills cream horns here in the U.S. Totally scrumptious but definitely _not_ the healthiest. 😂 Thank you, guys, for the fun, informative, and appetite-stimulating video! And, yes, I'd love videos on Ministop and Daily Yamazaki! I hope you have a GREAT weekend. 💙💚
Thanks, guys! Great challenge. My husband and I are traveling to Tokyo and Kyoto next month and will follow your lead to try some foods at Japan’s amazing convenience stores ☺️
I couldn't stop eating soft serve in Japan, ate my last cone while walking to the airport gate. I also loved 7-11's coffee jelly and Komeda's coffee jellico.
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi, I love watching all the videos you post and all of that delicious food I love seeing you both enjoying, this was a really great video to watch, thanks so much. 😋🥰🥰💜💜💞💞💜💜
This video made me so happy! Not because you guys visited the new combini or because you were in Asakusa which is where I always stay, but because it reminded me a lot of my first trips to Japan when money was tight. In fact my first meal in Japan was at an AM/PM combini in Nihonbashi and I still remember thinking how good the food was compared to the US. Hope you do more videos like this. Maybe a video where you eat at chain family restaurants for 24 hours?
The boat at 11:55 looks like one of the sailing restaurants I tried in Tokyo once. It laid anchor in the bay and served monjayaki, okonomiyaki and other good stuff. It was such a fun experience. Would love to see you guys make a video about those sailing restaurants.
I wish that we had such easy access to affordable, healthy and interesting varieties of food in America like there is in convenience stores in Japan. Everything looks so delicious!
Fun video. All good choices. Nice you can get veggies and fruit. As soon as you took a bite into the ice cream spoon I started laughing. Do another one but try foods and drinks you don't usually get. Hi from cool and rainy Oregon.
I agree with Shinichi the 7-11/7i fried chicken on a stick is freaking good. Now I have to try the one at Yamazaki. I saw it there when I was in Shinjuku last, too. The green smoothie at 7-11 / 7i is probably going to be my daily on the next visit. I always had fun watching the coffee machine make and pour my coffee there every morning. Now I get to see them greens😊
You two are so cute ☺️ All the food did look good. I don’t know why, but I am surprised in a positive way sometimes about the 7-Eleven food choices. Great video guys.
Loved the video! My favorite thing from the convenience stores are the fruit sandwiches! If possible I would love to see another Kinosaki video from you guys. It was so informative and it really looked like you had a relaxing time.
I really liked this video! I somehow had it in my head that Lawson, Family Mart, & 7-11 were the only convenience stores in Japan, so when y’all threw Ministop in there I had to adjust my worldview! I really want to try all the Japanese breads someday.
Looks like a fun 24 hours of convenience store goodness. I need to get that Family Mart towel next time I am in Tokyo. Will be coming next March. See you guys in Tokyo.
So many different stores! I love getting melon pan and curry pan from Bread Top here in Perth. Hubby wants to go to Japan so hopefully in the next few years we can.
Hi Guys! I just loved this video, so fun. I think I could live off Combini food for 24 hours because the food is so good in Japan. People cannot believe that we are such fans of Lawsons, Family mart and 7/11 until they visit Japan and see for themselves. I do want to check out Daily Yamazaki which i've seen maybe twice and always when we are rushing somewhere. We fell in love with Seico Mart in Sapporo, they had some interesting breads and desserts. Hope to try some of the stuff you guys tried next time.
ファミチキほうがローソンのから揚げくんよりです。 I think I ended up going to New Days more than any other konbini, but it's hard for me to say if 7-11 or Family Mart was my favorite. I can't wait to try Seicomart this winter!
You two are so enjoyable to watch and learn from. When are you going to visit a yatai? We’ve been watching numerous yatai videos and they look so interesting, especially how they’re put together. Please give us a tour of your favorite yatai. Mahalo (thank you in Hawaiian) & Arigato.
oh, this could be a fun series. Trying 24 hours konbini food but on other perfecture or city. But I wonder if they have a special unique menu or item in other city?
All of this sounds delicious! Makes me miss Japan so much. I remember back when I first visited Japan my first hotel lunch was two types of Japanese curry with rice (in one dish) I think from Family mart (though could have been 7-11 too, not super sure). It was delicious.
I think Japan is good to live of convenient stores. They have such good choices. Here it would be impossible. Hardly any convenient stores even in big cities and only snack options. To be honest I went to a convenient store often living in yanaka as supermarkets close to me opened late and taht way I could get somenthings already so I didn't have to do all the groceries after lessons. It might be a bit more expensive but you can eat really well. Usually you can even see how much calories there are in the deli options so easy to keep a sort of healthy eating habit.
An extra part of the challenge could’ve been no repeat visits to the same brand of konbini - so, once you’ve been to a 7-11 for example, you can’t return to any 7-11 in the same 24 hours! Or sticking to a tight budget for each meal (e.g., 1000 yen), just to make things more challenging.
🤤 I would've made the same mistake as Shinichi, for the softserve with the edible spoon! And the Daily convenience store is 🤩!!!!! I would get a bunch of food there to eat while watching trains with Satoshi. 😎 My favourite is definitely the freshly made onigiri you bought. I really want to get to try one that's still warm. 🍙
I loved this! It does help that I was able to watch it, because my son wasn't bugging me cosntantly 😅 I love melon bread...not sure the Japanese bakery here is doing it great though....
I really enjoyed your video, I have been to Japan but never survived 24 hours on a challenge like this! I am an old-time subscriber to your channel, you probably don't even know who I am!
This looked like a lot of fun. Is it somewhat simple to spot gluten-free snacks/meals in Japanese convenience stores? Just asking because I have Celiac, So I have to avoid it.
Love your videos. I would love not see you do a video going to Picards and trying all the French food especially the Christmas items which will be out soon.
You guys know our 7-11 in the US is not as nice as Japan. But our local one has a pepperoni pizza for only $9 that is actually very tasty. I like the chicken salad sandwich too.
Ah yes, another video to make me completely jealous of how good Japan's major convenience-store chains are, compared to most of those here in the USA. Had me slobbervating for real~
Surviving 24 hours on japanese convenience store food isn't fair. That's like surviving 24 hours on gas station food here in America and then going to Buc-ees. 😂
Hope you guys enjoy this video. Don’t forget to let us know what your favorite convenience store food is.
Remember to use the discount code TABIEATS5 to get $5 off any purchase at Tippsy Marketplace.

Enjoyed all the best conbini foods and the views of Tokyo! That yakisoba egg bacon sandwich looked very good.
another fabulous one in the books! Thanks!!!!
such a wonderful vlog once again and excited for your kyoto food adventure, can’t wait for this , I love Japan ❤❤❤
I love these convenience store videos!
Thank you for showing us the other conbinis other than the usual three. I will try mini stop and daily Yamazaki on my next trip
What an easy challenge ! hehe 🙂 Yamazaki's bakery is awesome !
That was another convenience store I'd never heard of! Now I have to decide how long I'd have to stay in Japan to try all of these.
Ahhh, the casually delicious dining that is konbini! 😋 As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the salads, smoothies, ice creams, puddings, and breads. Thank you for taking us along
Yes keep trying daily stour thankyou
Thanks, guys! Great challenge. My husband and I are traveling to Tokyo and Kyoto next month and will follow your lead to try some foods at Japan’s amazing convenience stores ☺️
My favorite thing from convenient stores is all the different types of cup noodles.
I couldn't stop eating soft serve in Japan, ate my last cone while walking to the airport gate. I also loved 7-11's coffee jelly and Komeda's coffee jellico.
I will never be able to see the land of my ancestors but because of channels like yours I can still experience it through you two.
Hi Shinichi and Satoshi, I love watching all the videos you post and all of that delicious food I love seeing you both enjoying, this was a really great video to watch, thanks so much. 😋🥰🥰💜💜💞💞💜💜

This was fun. I hope you go on a fall road trip somewhere into the mountains of Japan!
Thanks for the *convenient stores' foods* video! Personal fave *foods*: beef/bean chili, pizza, o.j., or skim milk. "2407365, G.B.Y.2" 🍲🍕🍊🥛
The boat at 11:55 looks like one of the sailing restaurants I tried in Tokyo once. It laid anchor in the bay and served monjayaki, okonomiyaki and other good stuff. It was such a fun experience.
Would love to see you guys make a video about those sailing restaurants.
Very interesting to see new convenience stores. That one with all the fresh fruit and bread looked awesome
Lots of delicious options! Yes, please have a video on things at Daily convenience store. Maybe things the others don't have 😊
Thank you for this fun video. The night images were beautiful!
I wish that we had such easy access to affordable, healthy and interesting varieties of food in America like there is in convenience stores in Japan. Everything looks so delicious!
I wish America had convenience stores like Japan.
I would love to have 7 eleven in Finland too. Love them.
With Japanese foods….🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂
Don't Americans have quickee marts
American convenience stores do not have the same wide selection and Quality that Japan does.
Yes, more videos
Fun video. All good choices. Nice you can get veggies and fruit. As soon as you took a bite into the ice cream spoon I started laughing. Do another one but try foods and drinks you don't usually get. Hi from cool and rainy Oregon.
Thankyou this as been very good,IV just watched the last 5 episodes thankyou both take care.
Thank you!
Wow variety in each store!
Awesome, guys! Glad to see you survived. Daily has some good bakery goods, but I kinda wish we also had some mini stops around here ;)

It would definitely be cool to see another video on Yamazaki Daily Store!
Love you two, this was great!
convenience store food is a must when in Japan ❤
Looks so tasty love the variety
I've seen enough of your videos to know that living off of Japanese convenience stores for 24 hours really wouldn't be much of a challenge. ;)
I feel like the hardest part would be to stop eating. Everything looks so nice, especially the desserts.
@@Umbra_Nocturnus Honestly I could probably live solely on the different varieties of onigiri.
@@danmccarthy4700 Quite possibly, yeah!
You two are so cute ☺️ All the food did look good. I don’t know why, but I am surprised in a positive way sometimes about the 7-Eleven food choices. Great video guys.
I love japan ~
Love theses thanks for sharing 😘😘❤️🤩😍🥰🌈🌹🙏💯
Omg cant wait to be in tokyo again in Nov, thank you for making me hungry again lol😅. Love you two all the way from the Philippines🇵🇭
Lol “You are so kind”, too funny 👍☺️
I’d love for you guys to do more videos on Daily Yamazaki….
Loved the video! My favorite thing from the convenience stores are the fruit sandwiches! If possible I would love to see another Kinosaki video from you guys. It was so informative and it really looked like you had a relaxing time.

This was so great! Please do a full Daily Store video! We're going to Japan next fall, can't wait!
Yum! We’re traveling to japan at the end of October- excited to try some of your recommendations!
Yep sumida River walk is great they fixed all that up a few years ago!
So many different stores! I love getting melon pan and curry pan from Bread Top here in Perth. Hubby wants to go to Japan so hopefully in the next few years we can.

ファミチキほうがローソンのから揚げくんよりです。

This video reminded me of Me as a tourist.
Do more of Daily Yamazaki please. Would love to know what's good in there, thank you!
Family Mart is still my number one konbini for over 10 years and Daily Yamazaki being the next contender. 😌☝🏼
You two are so enjoyable to watch and learn from. When are you going to visit a yatai? We’ve been watching numerous yatai videos and they look so interesting, especially how they’re put together. Please give us a tour of your favorite yatai. Mahalo (thank you in Hawaiian) & Arigato.
yes would like to see what thoes new Marts have
I love melon bread. In the US you can only really get it from uwajimaya or something similar.
that was a fun video i loved it
Looks delicious
oh, this could be a fun series. Trying 24 hours konbini food but on other perfecture or city. But I wonder if they have a special unique menu or item in other city?
I could do 24 hours just on famichiki 😂
Next time do a week. 24 hours of Japanese convenience stores is easy.
All of this sounds delicious! Makes me miss Japan so much. I remember back when I first visited Japan my first hotel lunch was two types of Japanese curry with rice (in one dish) I think from Family mart (though could have been 7-11 too, not super sure). It was delicious.
I think Japan has the best convenient stores and vending machines in the world
I think Japan is good to live of convenient stores. They have such good choices. Here it would be impossible. Hardly any convenient stores even in big cities and only snack options.

Convenience stores in Japan are wonderful! So are the food floors in department stores. I never go hungry in Japan. >^.^
Do a 24 hour survival on vending machines
Such delicious food 🥰 I wished I was there right now .
🤤 I would've made the same mistake as Shinichi, for the softserve with the edible spoon! And the Daily convenience store is 🤩!!!!! I would get a bunch of food there to eat while watching trains with Satoshi. 😎
My favourite is definitely the freshly made onigiri you bought. I really want to get to try one that's still warm. 🍙
Even the Convenience Store food looks great! If I ever do go to Japan, I'll have to book a second seat for the flight back (one for each bottom cheek)
I loveeeee the 7-11 green smoothie. I miss it.
スプーンちっさくなっちゃったのかわいい😂
Do these stores sell different kinds of food in the morning vs night or pretty much the same all day?
I loved this! It does help that I was able to watch it, because my son wasn't bugging me cosntantly 😅
I love melon bread...not sure the Japanese bakery here is doing it great though....
Satoshi's corn chocolate is a snack? Is it crunchy?
I basically lived off convenience store foods for 18 months when I was on a working holiday lol but love the video
When we come in December I would almost eat exclusively at Konbini ;)
When you grabbed the diet coke, what was the coke next to it in the white bottle?
love melon bread, but ive stopped eating it....not sure why btw
I really enjoyed your video, I have been to Japan but never survived 24 hours on a challenge like this! I am an old-time subscriber to your channel, you probably don't even know who I am!
Do yamazaki it always very good variety of sandwiches
This looked like a lot of fun. Is it somewhat simple to spot gluten-free snacks/meals in Japanese convenience stores? Just asking because I have Celiac, So I have to avoid it.
It always blows me away that they put noodles between bread...yaki soba, spaghetti 😂
Love your videos. I would love not see you do a video going to Picards and trying all the French food especially the Christmas items which will be out soon.
can i ask i am a sweet tea kind of girl so arethe teas in japan sweet or unsweet? and do they have ice cup in the stores?
Love the different type cooked fish available in 7-11 which you just need to microwave to heat it up.. some of them are so soft flakey and fatty
Easiest challenge ever! 😂
Challenge indeed. Feel sorry for you guys😂
Over here, the only thing worthwhile to choose from at 7-11 is their coffee. Just that.
I want some!!!
This isn't a challenge. This is a convenience. 😆
You guys know our 7-11 in the US is not as nice as Japan. But our local one has a pepperoni pizza for only $9 that is actually very tasty. I like the chicken salad sandwich too.
Don't mention japanese curry near me. All day I have been craving it! I even brought carrots and potatoes so I can make up a pot.
How much did it cost eating at convenience stores for 24 hours? It looked wonderful.
Now try to survive one meal in an American convenience store
Ah yes, another video to make me completely jealous of how good Japan's major convenience-store chains are, compared to most of those here in the USA. Had me slobbervating for real~
Same!! 😂
7-11. but each one is a little differnt which is welcomed. Never saw Diet Coke in Japan.
Surviving 24 hours on japanese convenience store food isn't fair. That's like surviving 24 hours on gas station food here in America and then going to Buc-ees. 😂
I will take up this challenge. Hans! My spoons!
