I believe this is true because people where wondering why did relic castle get shutdown out of nowhere. Well they did the same thing for Pokémon quest because they wanted to control the search results so it would go to their stuff not fan game stuff and relic castle is a place in unova games. Also we had have games announced in may before ORAS, USUM, let’s go etc it also makes sense for them to wait till everything is finished with Pokémon works to announce this game.

Unlikely for at least a decade. The Legends Engine is very likely the first steps towards "Pokémon World" in VR. Once they're masterful of the engine, I imagine it will become the new norm until their hardware is compatible with VR.

Would be a huge mistake to bring ILCA into the fold permanently. ILCA did an overall terrible job with BDSP. Holding their hands to bring them up to speed definitely seems like more trouble than it's worth.

@Aerith_GainsBro it wasn't GameFreak's decision to police the cloning methods in-game. That was all ILCA. GF does almost nothing to stop that kinda thing. The fact that ILCA took that liberty on their own behest is enough to crucify them. Let alone for the remaining trash code and animation. And that's just the tip of the retort as, GF was working on two other games at the time and relegated everything for BDSP to ILCA. So not only are you incorrect, you couldn't be moreso.
I disagree they really needed to take more time to make next games the quality of the last ones were unnacceptable idk about the current hype if they can make a banger every two or 3 years people will learn to wait the current pokemon model is unhealthy and damages the brand even more.

These last few gimmicks been trash if you ask me they should have built off of megas and unique z moves . Highly doubt it. If you look at every remake of a game that started a generation since HeartGold and SoulSilver, you'll see a pattern.
Gold and Silver (Gen II) - HeartGold and SoulSilver (Gen IV)
2 × 2 = 4
Ruby and Sapphire (Gen III) - ORAS (Gen VI)
3 × 2 = 6
Diamond and Pearl (Gen IV) - BDSP (Gen VIII)
4 × 2 = 8
By that math, we should expect remakes of Black and White to happen around Gen X at the earliest, that's when. No matter how much we want it to be, that's never gonna happen outside of that pattern, unless someone else says so.
