They definitely need one or adapters for the 9.5 deck. Then it’d be really tough to decide, those stock 351’s can take some power. I’d still go for sbf though, nothing sounds better than the 5.0, love ‘em!

I have a 03' and a 08' Crown Vic Police Interceptors. 4.6 2v. ADTR has a supercharger kit that is for the Panther platform. It's $7300. Just to make 450. Now if you build the bottom end and heads you are at around 20k or more depending on your build. I looked at a Yote swap. Same thing. Expensive. I found a Ls3 block for $500. I found a set of low milage 821 Corvette heads for $300. So I'm working on a Ls3 swap. I'm not brand specific. I just want a decent amount of power and it be reliable. Just a cam and springs will get me over 500 horse without a supercharger. Now my 08' I may do a Yote swap down the road once the prices come down some.
Just save your money no swap is cheap everything ads up. You can get yote for 1500 in up from f150 only diffrence is the cams and you not going to notice the difference in the power
It is extremely easy to go back. To edit this video. And every time you talk about some cheap China head people or you start talking about Chinese parts. In this video you can put a little verbal swipe, that comes across the video. And says "oops I made a mistake. I was wrong" Then you put a little link to the Higgins heads. And here is the actual cylinder head used.
I hate that i was lured over to this repost on Harrop's blower. You didn't buy one. So why should you get the views.... "Do not recommend this channel to me again....EVER." Posers....
It's not fair I am a pushrod dude the boss SBF is more expensive than the coyote and the Godzilla. I get 600 horsepower out of my 406 SBC with a demon carburetor hei distributor and hydraulic flat tappet cam. I love my mustang but it's outrageous expensive for old school pushrod, SBC or bbc is honestly white trash cheap reliable horsepower
I'm content with my 94 306 running a Vortech V2, no need for a coyote for me this car does PLENTY especially for what's on the streets local to me! But this setup has definitely peaked my interest as a potential upgrade
I plan to go with Vortech V3. The Harrop is too much in price and power for me. I looked at a Coyote swap but it's looking like it'll cost between $15k-20k.
Fox body with 7.3 and while you're at it, put one in a vic also. Fords up until recently have been neglected compared to gm guys! Maybe its just pushrod vs mod motor differences?
What ever they did to build that SBF motor costs WAY more than the Coyote swap and then you just bolt on a modern SC and you get all the benefits of weight reduction of the SN-95 platform and the power of the S-550.
@@zacharykelley359 I didn't add all the options to the kit. All the bells and whistles, it's close to 12K. Definitely more cost effective ways to build a 8.2 deck sbf. Appreciate your feedback
I'm a Windsor SBF guy till death, and this is just what I've wanted and needed. I'd just buy a Coyote powered Mustang if I wanted Coyote power, ao no swapping for me. They should've never stopped making roots/twin screw superchargers for the Windsor engine.
Just bought a 1994 with 111.085 on it original spark plugs and wires only thing is a ford install cold air the high dollar one , car has not 1 dent i might look into this
I've seen this video and the engine is a 347 not 363. I just completed my 363 build with this supercharger going into a 72 Grand Torino @22 psi 1376.23hp @7300 rpm 964.15 tq . Waiting for the trans to get back to get whp.
Really, I don't mind paying 3k for the block because look at the coyote car prices, I just sold my gen1 for 20k cash, so now that's my SBF starting fund. I am waiting for this car market crash to really get going. I am just saying if you buy a coyote straight up for a nice gen3 GT probably 35k, that is where I am at thinking about my fox/SBF investment, 35k. I am in research stage right now. I am wondering about 12.1 compression, E85 conversion, 8,000RPM. The engine noises I feel would be ecstasy with correct exhaust setup. Anyways, I enjoy your channel and you were one of the folks that kicked the cobwebs in my head up to understand coyote isn't the only ford out there.
It's cool but very pricey. Youll end up having $8500-10,000 just like buying a Kenne Bell Mammoth... The AFR Enforcer heads cant be touched at their pricing currently. Ill stay with a couple stages of nitrous safely for a 1/3 of the cost. With a progressive controller that monitors fuel pressure & AFR. Not to mention it only wears on the engine for seconds at a time 🤷🏽♂️
You hurt my feelings when you stated the price. Before you spoke i was like, man, a new SC for the sbf! Prob about 3-4g'$. I can swing that! WRONG 7-9g'$? Then you stepped on my feelings when you said no Windsor option. Dang...I love sbf with all the modern goodies on a stroker block.
Totally false..... You have the best platform for the sn95 or fox body mustang prior to the 4.6 platform.. with a simple intake change you have several options for the 5.0. from a B&M blower to several different supercharger type options to throwing on a 6-71 to 14-71 blower on. I've owned several mustangs throughout the years and was extremely easy for power adders for the 5.0 old school engine. Now, if your like me now to where I've pushed my high school ride out a 1997 Mustang Gt with the 4.6 2v then you can complain about options. Because if they have one thing for the 4.6 then they don't have other components that you need to make the 4.6 2v a BEAST. Especially when aftermarket parts are becoming obsolete or like a kenne bell supercharger extremely expensive...Now, I'm trying to figure out what I should do other than a "everybody" ls swap, like the 7.3 Godzilla or go old school with a BBF or SBF to a coyote swap but either way then your looking at $20k for that changeover... Because I'm a true FORD GUY and like to see Fords with Ford stuff but sucks because they haven't developed a transmission to hold 2000+ hp, so a th400 or power glide would have to hold it together if I went with a old school setup. But, anyways you've had options all along but you want modern then Harrod is an expensive way to go..
I'm not a LS swap hater but I would never put one in my Mustang. I don't mind Coyote swaps either, I just love a sbf more. I'm aware of other roots superchargers for a sbf but to my knowledge, harrop is the first newest modern roots supercharger a heat exchanger. I totally forgot about the B&M blower until I did this video. I have a pictures of a eaton mounted on the side of the motor like the BBK.
How old is this guy? Every single type of blower has been available for SBF since the 1960’s. IDK what the big deal about the coyote is when any competent builder put together any number of SBF that makes more HP and TQ than any coyote powered mustang offered today. Hell, a base CLEAVOR will do the job without breaking a sweat naturally aspirated, much less blown.
Yes, there are other roots style blowers available. This video was targeted to my audience, Sn95 platform. Even most Hard-core Sn95 racer is not going to use a Weiand 174 style blower. I admit, I don't know every roots blower manufacture to fit a sbf. However, I do know most in the community only had a couple of fuel injected choices when it came to roots blowers. Kenne Bell was the most popular and eaton based roots blower was another option. Neither one of these roots style supercharger had a intercooled option. Now the community has a intercooled option. If you wanted to be old school and have a 5" supercharger sticking out of your hood on a street car, yes other blowers out there. For us who would prefer a modern looking car, this supercharger fits the build. Appreciate your feedback.
It's the supercharger that I want but couldn't justify spending 13k on a blower. If I was about that racing life, sure but I would show it off more than racing.
Building a 363 long block will run your 10k. Often more, sometimes less. Getting a sealed Gen 2 coyote for 5k can't be slept on. If all you're after is a HP number, Coyote is cheaper.
Just discovered you today. Gotta go to work. I'm ABOUT this! So few of us in the game like this. 👊🏾 Gotta learn more! I'll be following you. Thanks for what you do!

I've been watching this Harrop for a while 7k then all options 15k. It's AWSOME but I already bought a procharger F1A a year ago. That kit I'd AWSOME but 14k is expensive Harrop is Australia company and has been around a while
Are you looking at the Australian site? Even with the heavy duty drive option and heat exchanger, it's 11K. Still a lot of money but similar to a comparable Whipple.
@SN95Power harrop America. Every option comes out to 14k. 110mm tb ,ATI damper and crank trigger, 10 rib heavy duty belt set-up, heat exchanger, pump lines, 65mm pulley 10 rib, injectors, ect . When I looked the other day wth 1200cc injectors it came out to almost 15 k if you check ✔️ all the options
@@jplperformance9073 I see what I missed. The forward bias option is $1800. Not a good explanation of what that is but I'm guessing that's the TB setup. What do you think? Although I would go with Bosch 220 injectors. My tuner has great success tuning them.
@SN95Power yeah it is the 110mm tb setup. Stock is a 90mm .it's the actual TB casting that bolts to the front of the blower. When I added EVERYTHING it was a couple bucks under 15k. I don't like that the 10rib setup you can only run a alternator, and WP. NO Powersteering or Air conditioning. I'll see if the price comes down but I already bought a procharger and if I decided to change I almost sure I would be getting a divorce so maybe on another project. I made my bed wth procharger F1A so 2650 is out of the question for me
@SN95Power love the channel BTW. My dad just bought a 94 5.0 auto convertible. I was thinking about a On3 or a Vortech or Powerdyne. I kno you had a bunch of issues with the turbo kit?? Your advice on adding some boost??
I have a 2010 challenger srt8 w a 6 speed, and I haven't fallen in love with it yet like I did with my 03 GT....it has way more power and is way nicer, but I just don't love it as much...I dunno why and it bothers me
A forged dart block motor can handle more power than a stock bottom end gen 2 or 3 coyote. They can do 800 pretty reliably people say 1000 and its been done but i dont consider them "reliable" at that power on stock bottom end. A forged dart small block can go beyond 1000 wheel with ease. So it might cost more but it has more ultimate capability and a 363 is gonna make way more torque.
Bro! You sound educated & i enjoyed the content...but if you ever say "moderin" in 1 more video, i"ll never watch/listen to you again lmao!!! Just stopped my 7 yr old grand kid from saying " moderin" its modern!
😂 bro it was super late when I recorded this video. Now I can't stop saying mod-ern. I'm going to use A.I voice over for that word. Need you to stay on the team.
Coyote is still much cheaper. Stock 302 block is out of the question. Maybe it could be done with a 351 block, but for that power level, it will have to be well built. A coyote and a turbo will beat it for less. I'm a diehard sbf guy, and even i can see this.
You pretty much summed up my video. I stated that building a coyote with a Gen5 Whipple is cheaper as opposed to a sbf with this TVS 2650. If we're talking about turbos, hard to build a turbo coyote for the price of a 9.5 deck sbf and turbo kit.
A 393 with TFS heads or Yates heads would make you crap your pants with that blower . Use the 351 fireing order to keep the block , even the race block together and rev it . Fear no yotes . Wanna save cash ?? Twin turbos .
TVS2650 on a 363 dart would make A LOT of power with TF 205s and a decent hydro roller would make more than they made 363s are big bore short stroke. and a solid roller would rev no problem
The coyote is just better all way around less money spent by the time you build old block u have way over thousands and thousands dollars on internal parts just my opinion
I didn't realize aftermarket blocks increased so much in price. If they made this supercharger for a 9.5 deck you could build it cheaper. You couldn't build a 8.2 deck cheaper, like you said.
I have a 10:1 363 making 432whp@7000rpm right now NA. I'm quite interested in this its tailored to me, I have a termi x, just need a dual sync. So glad they're still developing tech for the old pushrod engines. Oh snap, you mentioned Woody, he built my engine, he lives 15mins away from me. My tuner was like don't be too excited about power on this engine, when it made the power it made he was like, "Oh... Woody built this... Yup, it's a monster..."
Signing up on Woody's sbf building site was the best investment I put into my build. He was there to help with every question that I had. Your build sounds awesome. That supercharger would rock
@@SN95Power Woody's customer service was top notch. I was able to hang out with him a couple of times at his home shop. I cannot say enough good things about him and the quality of his work. Also I gotta give you props for being honest on the details of the unit cause I feel a lot of youtubers downplay the reality of price per performance dollar.
This was the most boring video. I tried to give it a chance but the delivery is monotone. You could have done this whole video in less than 6 minutes and maybe with a little enthusiasm.
I wish I had a Kenne bell for my 95. But, look man the Chinese heads may not stay together any length of time but they can flow air. Those setups are pretty impressive.
@@sn95garage18 I have a set of those cheap China heads. No issues at all. Enforcer heads are a great bang for buck. If I had the budget, I would run 11r
I had a 2004 Mustang GT 4.6 that I had completely rebuilt at a performance shop with some of the best parts money can buy. 12k for the motor with another 6300 for procharger setup. Then you have to change your trans to hold the power. Not to mention better gear tunes exhaust etc.... I ended up spending 25k easy and kept having to spend. That was just to get 550 hp out of a 4.6 281. If I had it to do all over again. I would took the money and bought me a Cobra and started beefing up that platform. I could of made a lot more power and been a whole lot more reliable.
03-04 Cobra is the better stock engine but IMO, I'll rather build it how I want it. I'm sure your built 2v bottom end was better than the stock 03-04 Cobra short block.
If you spent that much to make 550 wheel you did it totally wrong. You prob bought too small of a blower meant for a stock engine and/or you were running on crap 91 octane or something. That is user error don't blame the older engine because you didn't put the build together right.
I could do boss rods and forged pistons and easily make 600+ with a stock crank 2v. Sounds like you spent a ton of money in the wrong places and didn't mod it right. Your build isn't indicative of what to expect from a built mod motor...not even close.
That would be like building a terminator engine with top notch parts meant to make way over 1000 hp and then running the stock Eaton blower and whining that it only made 550 lol. Similar idea.
i bet you it was a solid roller cam to run to 7000 grand and those heads had to be worked on a little maybe i dont know, iam building a speedmaster 351 block to a 393 turboed going to 1400hp, the speedmaster block is copy of the dart iron eagle, very nice peice, awsome video. speedmaster block was $1,695 9.5 deck height splayed 4bolt mains priorty oiling all the good stuff.
A supercharger to end Coyote swaps? LOL No. Coyote has stronger rotating assembly = can make more power safely Coyote is more fuel efficient (25MPG highway) Coyote makes nearly 2x the power of a 2V STOCK 2V needs a forged rotating assembly to make 800HP. Do that on a stock sealed motor, and you'll end up with inspection ports.
You are correct. In fact, I mentioned in the video that build a +800rwhp motor using a roots style blower is cheaper with a coyote motor. I know it's a long video but everything you said that the 2v lacked, I go over in the video. Thanks for your feedback.
@@SN95Power A built 2V motor is not cheaper than a used coyote motor. I literally have a gen 3 block with gen 1 heads on a stand 10 feet from me, that I paid $2000 for. Yeah, I might have 10K wrapped up into it by the time I upgrade cams, buy a transmission, control pack, driveshaft, etc, but those are all upgrades too.
@@Smasher-Devourer I never directly said to you in our messages that it was. I don't doubt that people can build "budget" coyote swaps. However I did say in the video that you can build a +800 sbf cheaper than a +800rwhp coyote. It's great that you have a coyote motor for 2k. How often can the average enthusiast find a deal like that? I've been looking into coyote swapping our new edge and the cheapest gen2 motor I've seen in the past few weeks was a bad Gen 2 truck motor for $1800 on FB. Car-parts.com has cheaper high mileage running gen1 truck motors for $1600. The main two components to my argument with the cheaper statement is 9.5 deck and turbo kit. Hard to beat that proven combination for the price.
Here's why it's great.
1. It's intercooled
2. Fits with aftermarket pullies
3. Makes massive power for the money
4. Gives a lot of build options
5. Save money.

They definitely need one or adapters for the 9.5 deck. Then it’d be really tough to decide, those stock 351’s can take some power. I’d still go for sbf though, nothing sounds better than the 5.0, love ‘em!
9.5 is under development
351 sounds just like a 302 ho (only meaner) they have the same firing order.
Btw a 351 IS a sbf lol
I love a sbf. Aint feeling all those chains and shit....my buddy in highschool had a 95 svt cobra in zr white. 3.73 gears, nx wet kit jetted to 150 shot. Nothing crazy but boy was it a blast
I bet he was hurting feelings with that setup
I think it justified an LS swap with new t56.

Hey brother Walt. I have been following these guys for awhile. I been waitin on them to price it and start taking orders. My 363 setup is ready for some boost.Im sitting on about $13,000 from carb to oil pan and wp to clutch setup price wise. So im ready to bite the bullet on one at their price.

The tvs for the small block ford is super cool but like you mentioned it gets pricey quickly . One day the gen 1 coyote I have could end up in my 95 I’d just need to get a bracket for my procharger d1sc . I’m still stock blocking 15-17psi

I'm not a LS hater and I understand why you would LS swap your CV.
Just save your money no swap is cheap everything ads up. You can get yote for 1500 in up from f150 only diffrence is the cams and you not going to notice the difference in the power
The cheapest Yote I have found was $3200 and it had almost 200k on it. I found a 5 OH block but for $500 but it needed sleeves. It was wore slap out.

It is extremely easy to go back. To edit this video. And every time you talk about some cheap China head people or you start talking about Chinese parts. In this video you can put a little verbal swipe, that comes across the video. And says "oops I made a mistake. I was wrong"
Then you put a little link to the Higgins heads. And here is the actual cylinder head used.

Lasts 3.5 seconds with a stock block lol
On a good day
7600😅 is very low RPM for that short little tiny stroke. Low low low RPM for a tiny stroke motor like that.
Fox body with 7.3 and while you're at it, put one in a vic also. Fords up until recently have been neglected compared to gm guys! Maybe its just pushrod vs mod motor differences?
Iv seen 306 stock block , crank rods forged 0.30 over piston s with vic Jr heads vortech chargerd making 650 hp going 9s for 3 yrs..
What ever they did to build that SBF motor costs WAY more than the Coyote swap and then you just bolt on a modern SC and you get all the benefits of weight reduction of the SN-95 platform and the power of the S-550.
No. Doesn’t make sense to me when turbos are much cheaper, anyone can do it, and make just as much if not more.
Of course but this video was about a new roots style supercharger

Idk why you guys think an sbf can't rev high...
Appreciate your support and that 12:1 motor is going to sound wicked. I like coyote builds for anything over 600rwhp.
Not to mention it only wears on the engine for seconds at a time 🤷🏽♂️
I have no problem with my enforcer heads. I've never ran nitrous before but plan on using it next year.
I felt the same way😂. Fully optioned, it's 12k
Totally false..... You have the best platform for the sn95 or fox body mustang prior to the 4.6 platform.. with a simple intake change you have several
options for the 5.0. from a B&M blower to several different supercharger type options to throwing on a 6-71 to 14-71 blower on.
Thank you Biden for this awesome economy ……
The 9.5 version is out now! 😬 fully loaded is about 13k, but will be amazing...great video

@SN95Power yeah it is the 110mm tb setup. Stock is a 90mm .it's the actual TB casting that bolts to the front of the blower. When I added EVERYTHING it was a couple bucks under 15k. Come on back to the community. The door is open 🚪
My friend and I was just having this conversation. Good points
Bro! You sound educated & i enjoyed the content...but if you ever say "moderin" in 1 more video, i"ll never watch/listen to you again lmao!!! Just stopped my 7 yr old grand kid from saying " moderin" its modern!

I can't imagine the torque that thing would have. Would definitely make me think about my decision in life 😂
TVS2650 on a 363 dart would make A LOT of power with TF 205s and a decent hydro roller would make more than they made
363s are big bore short stroke. and a solid roller would rev no problem
Would love to see those 11r head on that motor.
I doubt this thing fits under a cowl hood let alone a stock hood.
I'm in cali with an 09 3v and I spent 8kish for a edelbrock supercharger on lowest boost to put down 380 hp 360 torque. So I can see it.

A supercharger to end Coyote swaps? LOL No.
Coyote has stronger rotating assembly = can make more power safely
Coyote is more fuel efficient (25MPG highway)
Coyote makes nearly 2x the power of a 2V STOCK
2V needs a forged rotating assembly to make 800HP.
