- We failed to get permits for the Angel's Landing Hike at Zion National Park in Utah, but it was a blessing in disguise as the West Rim Trail hike past Scout's Lookout (the beginning of the Angel's Landing hike) was spectacular and hardly anyone was there. It was so nice to see such natural beauty without the crowds.

I’ve done Angel’s Landing. You did the hard part. This trail is over glamorized and too much traffic. Try Observation Point or any of the other amazing trails here! Looks like you had a great hike with no people, that’s a total win ❤

You've restored my want to hike to Scout's Lookout. I too was unable to get a permit for Angel's Landing taking the hike you did here was plan B. Plan B looks fantastic and i will add this to my must do list. Thanks for sharing and great job! I'll be on the trail November 2nd of this year.
