As always, a huge THANK YOU to the trail builders, the trail fairies, and our trail associations!
    TRAILFORKS INFO:
The Maple Ridge Woodlot has been painstakingly created by a small group of riders who have built a mountain biker's paradise of twisting ramps, ladders, jumps, and steep descents. It is the place to ride in Maple Ridge for intermediate and advanced riders.
Pedal up the Woodlot main road to the various trail-heads. The pedal takes under an hour. Alternatively you can pedal via the road and Stovetop to add some single-track to the climb.
Once you get up top, there are lots of sturdy ladders and technical single track trails with log rides, jumps and drops.
Bring spares, first aid gear, water, and respect for the local trails and the volunteer hours spent to keep them running.
Most of the mountain bike trails in the Woodlot are part of the BC Ministry of Forest Woodlot License 0007. It is a working forest and is managed by the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Forest Society. The Woodlot builders work closely with the Fraser Valley Mountain Bikers Association and have a good working relationship with BCIT Forest Society as well as Mission Tree Farm and the Kwantlen and Katzie First Nation who also manage various Woodlot licenses in the area.
The FVMBA and other stakeholders have worked together to legalize the Woodlot trails and they are Official Recreation Trails under Section 56 of the Forest and Range Practices Act.
    Access Info:
The Woodlot is located on the border of Maple Ridge and Mission. From Dewdney Trunk Road, turn North at 287 Street and park at the dead end just North of 123 Ave. Access is via an active forestry road that climbs up past the power lines with branches that lead you to a variety of good technical single track. This road is gated and shuttling is not permitted. The Woodlot is a great area for all Downhill and advanced XC riders.

I believe this was my first ride with the GoPro Hero 9 back in the day. I was very impressed coming up from a hero 7 with gimbal..

How are you liking the 9 so far? Looks like such an impressive little camera. And once the max mod comes out it’s going to be insane. The trails looked extra gnarly in there current state. Wet roots will be the death of me

Since we ride in completely dry weather here not sure I would know how to ride that wet mess.
