Well done review. I've had a Neptune for about two years and love it. I also picked up Lorier's nylon Bond style strap and it looks great on this watch.
I would love to see this also offered in 36mm. They already have the falcon case, slap a dive bezel on it, it's got 100m of resistance, screw down crown and it's a touch thinner. Piggyback on the Black Bay 54 popularity at an affordable price.
I think you reviewed the previous version (version 3) coming in 4 colors. Cause the reviewed watch holds the sharp edges of the bracelet that I loved, and the complete lumed hour hand which in the IV version is gonna have only the tip of the arrow lumed in order to be more distinctive to the minute hand. Still a gorgeous watch!
Thanks buddy! Yes that’s the v3 so not that newest version (thought I’d mentioned it in the video sorry!) Yes awesome watch and a great brand identity!!! Thanks for stopping by 😎🙂
Nice review….looks great on your wrist. I was hoping to learn why you prefer the 3rd generation Neptune versus the current 4th generation with the larger broad arrow hour hand and improved bracelet…? I reviewed the Falcon 3 on my channel.
@AwkwardHorology My main concern with the lorier is the build quality and only 1 year warranty, baltic offers a much more robust policy. But I have small wrists (6 1/4 inch) and the lorier also looks a much more sensible size. 🤔 tricky!
To quell your fears I have a story. I magnetized my watch so badly that my Amazon demagnetizer wouldn't put a dent in the issue, being my first watch that happened to I contacted Lorier. This was outside warranty but they provided options and asked questions with the final option being send it back. They ended up demagnetizing it and sending it back to me for no charge. You really buy into a brand and people with Lorier not just a product.
It’s a beauty of a watch but being honest I have no idea! I bought mine of eBay. It seems like there is a wait list for these you’d probably have to sign up on there website for it
Loriers website they had a press release for this one and it looks like they do blue, black and the same in gilt tones: www.lorierwatches.com/pages/neptune-iii-design-blog
the Neptune is one my favourite watches in my collection, although I have Rolex, Tudor and Omega as well!
It’s a great watch this along with the wolbrook have seriously made me rethink my Tudor BB heritage ownership lol

Thanks mate! Me too! (Well one of my own) but it looks epic on a classic bond, Spectre and NTTD nato strap
Can I ask how can I buy this watch? I see that the website does not sell it on a regular way but I have to make a subsciption... how does it work?
I quite like the acrylic on vintage reissues. Nice watch!
Nice review. Definitely gonna check this out at the windup watch fair next month. That have a GMT I wanna look at as well.

Very beautiful great review tho i prefer the 4th version more cuz of the shorter hour hand

This or the baltic aquascaphe classic black?
I know what… that’s a great question I haven’t had hands on with the Baltic just yet but I suspect it maybe a strong contender!

Lorier bracelet most comfortable in my collection if that helps

@@shadowsocks7472 that’s a great story!
How about Bezel sound?
Good suggestion I’ll add to future reviews!
sapphire cant be buffed out. the scratch will be permanent unless you buy a new one, acrylic will buff out again and again.
