YARD turns into a CRIME SCENE while doing this FREE transformation!

- So this is probably the most interesting and intense yard we’ve done, not because of the difficulty of the yard but because it eventually turned into a crime scene. If this is your first time here I am Justin from the Blessing Boys, we stopped at this yard because it was obviously super overgrown and in need of some help so we wanted to take care of it for free. We knocked on the door but didn’t get and answer so we went to the neighbor, he gave us some info on the home owner and I asked if he would contact them for us so we could get permission to take care of the yard. He did exactly that and soon after the owner actually called me to see what was going on. He was extremely grateful and offered to pay me but you know that’s now how the Blessing Boys do it. Now this is where things got interesting, we kept noticing a certain man wandering around the property and across the street, he came up to me and asked for money to which I told him I honestly wasn’t carrying any cash and he got really upset with me and left, later in the video you will see that all of the sudden we have to stop because about 4 or 5 police cars show up and start surrounding a vehicle, It really caught us off guard and I take safety seriously for my boys so hang around to see what actually happened. I am so happy to see there are still dads who do this stuff. My dad made time for us to leave every place we visited better than we found it, it was really important to him that we learned to even be accountable for other humans not just ourselves.
@@NiaLaLa_V My dad was the same way. Always leave a place better than you find it. We always keep small, medium and plastic bags tucked under the seats of our van. We also keep a plastic tub in the back for recycling.

With cities and counties giving fines for overgrown lawns and bushes without taking into consideration the owners' economic conditions or health, what you and your sons do is put hope and compassion back into our communities. Thank you.
Yes, they fine people while still living, but after someone passes on and a whole city block and community can complain when grass over takes a whole sidewalk and the homes yard becomes a whole forest and the city does nothing about it even after numerous phone calls. People can no longer walk down the sidewalks and have to walk on the streets. It does make one wonder why we all pay taxes and the cities cannot even take care of sidewalks of homes where nobody lives anymore. They could give those homes to people for less with less income that could save them from becoming homeless or a place for someone that is homeless and let them get back on their feet. Some people are working, but are homeless and living in their cars. It is sad to see the greed that cities have towards the poorer people. Rich get richer and poor get poorer because the rich take advantage and use the poor to gain more. The worst is government and city officials.
They fine people all the time here in S.C they don't care what your economical status
All of them now day they will send one to fix it and it will cost the owner about 600 to 800 depending on the size

I'm a disabled grandmother and I would give anything in the world if somebody like you would come by my yard and clean it up. You guys are true saints!!
I know. I'm disabled and I live with my parents and they are very sick and it's so hard to keep up with the outside work. 😔

@@MHester-m3f sweetie, overall ppl can't see my scares from surgeries, bcuz I had the most amazing orthopedic Dr., however he left and moved to a different county and than to a whole different state and I've given up on trying to find Dr's who understand my diseases. It's like they think it's a joke. 😔 I have no energy, can't really eat, sleep maybe 4 or 5 hrs and doesn't felt like I slept 1. I have parents that are really sick. I stress out so bad, because once my parents are gone all I have is my son. Financially I can't afford to live on my own. As you said I'm not really complaining, just stating what my life is like and maybe someone else maybe able to understand and may be going thru the same thing. I'm so depressed. I've been through slot in the past 10 yrs, that I swear it's taken 20 yrs off my life.
I was divorced in 2001, found my true soulmate in 2007,he passed away of a massive heart attack on April 27th 2014 and since than it's been nothing but bad luck. Also everytime I see 911 I don't budge. I stay home... Even though I don't really go out, cuz of my agoraphobia, but whenever I started seeing 911 which was 6 months B4 my fiancé died, nothing but bad stuff has happened. 😔 😔. I feel so alone. 😢 😢 😕😕

I have a huge heart and wish I could do more for my parents, but my joints and muscles hurt so bad, I want to 😢 everyday all day, but I get migraines when I 😢. So I have to hold back 😭 so hard I feel like my head is going to explode. One example is my mom passed out 4 weeks ago and it happened to her a lot when she gets a uti, well not this time. She was clearly in A Fib and the ER didn't see it and she went to her Dr for a follow up and her Dr is furious. Our health care system has gone to shit.

Most people have never had to do a massive overhaul on a yard like this and have no clue to the amount of time and energy involved . As someone who has dealt in the real estate industry for many years I have firsthand experience with yards like this and I can appreciate the amount of time and hard work involved in tackling something like this. Kids aren’t working for him 24/7. Many jobs he does on his own. Having young ones help out build skills and competence.
@@lauraw.7008 That's true, but they can learn that at a later age. These guys are too young for this. My oppinion is that kids should learn to help around the house from a younger age, but not like washing the entire house, but taking the garbage out, putting in the dishwasher etc. These kids are doing a grown mans/womans job, and I would never put my kids through this at such a young age. Even if it's 1 or 2 days a week, it's still way too much for a kid. I would be a miserable kid if I had to do this, and I never minded helping when I was young.
@@mahmamaa I see your point. And hope that dad isn’t saying they’ve got to pull a full shift. Dad’s not having them use heavy equipment; just a shovel or rake. Going to work with dad are some of my best memories as a kid. Didn’t do it a lot, and the helping part was limited, with time to play/draw/keep myself occupied on the side when we weren’t doing something together.
That logic sends an 18 year old out into the world with no skills. This is such a gift that a dad can give his kids. I’m sure they have down time to “be kids” as well. This is also part of being a kid.
Usually, when the yard is in bad condition the house also looks neglected - but, wow, that is one pretty house!! You guys did a great job.

My neighbor did it for me once didn't tell me n I freaked out till I found out worried the city did it n I would get a fine. Getting permission takes that worry away. Good job guys

Boy, this place cleaned up great! It went from the worst home in the neighborhood to the best. You're teaching your boys and the UA-cam community about work ethics, community responsibility, generosity, neglect, how to completely do a job, team work, and community service just to name a few. You all work so hard. Just clearing that sidewalk seemed like so much work. It's sad to see over weight kids walking to school knowing that when they aren't at school, they are inside playing video games. You don't even see kids outside playing anymore. You and your young men are a true blessings to your community and the entire world could use more like you.

My hubby n I owned a lawn service for ten years, we used to do these and made a lot of money..we loved the outcomes and we started giving elderly people freebies n added the whole family on a Sat to do just what you're doing! It was always a great heartfelt thing for us to do! People loved it and us for helping! Bless you guys, it's a lOT of work but I kinda miss it tbh. 😂❤

Y'all are a true blessing. As a disabled person that is almost blind. I wish there were people like you around me. My disabled son lives with me,. He just had his second back surgeries. So we aren't much good for anything outside the home. He does manage to cut the very small part of my back yard every now and then but has to sit down quite often. I myself never leave my home except to go every two weeks to my doctor appointment for treatments. During the summer we had a limb fall on the house and it's been laying in the front yard ever since not one soul has offered to help cut it up even for the wood it huge oak wood. Can you believe that??? People just either don't care or are waiting for us to cut it up and set it out for free wood. Sad! Sad! Sad! 😢 if I could see to cut it up and not lose a leg I would I'm not lazy. I find things to do every day. I clean constantly. I may be almost blind but I can, feel, smell, and touch my way though, cleaning, cooking canning, washing clothes, anything. It just takes the want to. God bless you for everything you and your boys do.
