Season of Mist has always been known for being an innovative and wide spectrum label, interested in exploring and developing new artists and bands. The label represents well-known acts such as ROTTING CHRIST, ARCHSPIRE and HEILUNG, as well as rising stars in extreme metal like GAEREA, SYLVAINE and REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER.
There’s this kid who use to work at the supermarket down the street from my house and every now and again he would be outside the supermarket just playing the violin and he was just giving free lessons. So I had showed him y’all and he didn’t jam metal at all and after I had showed him y’all’s songs he was trying to learn all y’all’s jams. Last time I saw him he was able to play Intra Venus and the third movement of Painters of Tempest - Part 2. Love spreading the metal around. If I ever see him again gonna record it maybe by then he’ll have learned more because this kid could scratch like the Devil in Georgia. 🤘😁🖤

The chaos is the best part about it, I just love the vocals going back and forth, the triplets with the guitarist and drummer in perfect sync, its just amazing
Honestly there are many metal bands, in my opinion, that have never released one bad song! Born of osiris, allegaeon, the faceless, enterprise earth, etc. But yeah these guys are fucking epic!!!!!

It excites me to know that among so many mediocre bands that continue to compose genres from the 80s and 90s, there are bands like Ne Obliviscaris rising like a phoenix from the ashes of a dying genre. Simply spectacular, there is not a bad song in his entire repertoire. Greetings from Chile and keep doing good metal!
Currently there are more metal bands than ever so hard to call it a dying genre also considering the amount of subgenres that are out these days. 🤘
This band is SO GOOD. The amount of Talent in each member. The Creativity. Just everything.
The part that starts at about 5:33 is so fucking amazing, and then Benjamin just pops in and starts sweeping all over the place and it never fails to give me goosebumps. I was listening to this walking around town today and the face i did when that bit happened made an old lady look at me like she was genuinely concerned for my mental well being lol 😂

I said Equus was unbelievable and I stand by that, but this... this band is on an entirely different level.
What a tempest. Equus took me for a ride, but this song has swept me off my feet. I cannot wait to see this mastery live. So much time and deliberation was put into this track and the beautiful video, and it really shows.

this song feels like a continuation of Citadel but different at the same time, this new album has been a roller-coaster of a ride, the two singles are so different from each other, I'm really excited to see whats coming next
This sounds like the baby of Pyrrhic and Intra Venus
I had the sensation that this song is a blend from Hiraeth and Citadel. But with something fresh. It doesn't feels just like a recycled stuff
The really are. Equus is more somber, but this is punchy and fairly unrelenting. This is probably my favorite song from them in a while

They can't keep getting away with it. Cinematography, the violin that just quiets and sticks through the background, the solos. Just banger after banger. They can't be stopped.
That violin solo gave me chills, by the end I was on the verge of tears. If it had gone on for ten seconds longer, I'd have cried. I don't even know why, but goddamn. The whole song is great, but that violin solo...

Dare I say, this is the least NeO sounding song I’ve heard? That’s not a slight, it’s fantastic!! Usually there’s instrumentation elements or altered melodies that we’ve heard in other songs. This one sounds completely unique 🙌🏼

I'm a little disappointes. Their last 2 songs feel more "cohesive" in atmosphere but they lack the dynamism and novelty that their first 2 albums had. Citadel and portal of I were constantly throwing you in rollercoasters in emotion.
Urn 1 and urn part 2 feel so safe and tame compared to their first 2 albums. Their fierst 2 albums had so much replayability because you'd always discover new things in the mix.
I'm not writing ths off but but I was expecting more after 4 years of waiting.

I'm blown away by how good this is. Not a second goes by that isn't a captivating moment in time - only to be followed by an even more awe inspiring moment that leads to a coda that can only be satiated by another listen. I very much look forward to the album.
