I am brand new to cycling. I just purchased a Schwinn ic4, and I assembled it last night. Today was my first workout on it. I am 54 years old, 5'5", and weigh 197lbs. I am grateful I was able to complete this workout. I tried to keep up as best as I could. However, I had to go at my own pace. I have to get used to the bike and learn how to properly use the resistance. However, today's exercise is a win for me. Every time I felt like giving up, your guidance pulled me back in. I know if I continue to workout everyday I will get stronger. Thank you for this video. I even had the dessert afterward. 😃
For the last 2 weeks I have been alternating between this seated workout and another one you made about a year ago. Today is my first day I made it through without having to pause the video and rest.
My 5 was a 1, 6 was 2, 7 was 3 & so on. My ass is best I was whimpering on that bike. My only critique is I wish there was a tiny bit more explanation that we can do any resistance we are comfortable with while also pushing ourselves at the start. But I still loved this! You pleased knees strength workout is amazing and the best I’ve done on UA-cam.
I love these seated vids because I can't stand on the bike due to an arch injury. Keep them coming...the more intensity the better. You are just the best!

Hi..I am 60 and suffer from arthritis in both my knees from years of running on tarmac. I ve started doing your 20 min seated class 4 or 5 days a week and my knees have improved so much as the muscles strengthen. You are encouraging without being annoying 😀. Revisited this one after today’s full body workout 🏋♀ as an active recovery. Added extra resistance and replaced some sprints with inverted sprints and it turned out not to be a recovery at all 🫠🥵😂 An oldie but goodie! 💜

Appreciate the staying in the saddle option. I am a runner, but sidelined from a broke ankle. Finally got clearance to use the bike this week, which is something I have been interested in doing for awhile as a cross training option. It feels so good to get my heart rate up and break a sweat with a low impact workout. I didn't know that was possible :). Using an entry level Yosuda bike that I got on Amazon. I need to wait for further ankle healing before I can try any workouts that require standing. But thank you for the multiple seated workouts you have available.

I just found your videos while looking for fully seated indoor cycling workouts. I have been doing them for about 2 weeks, and I love them. I am not able to stand on my bike because of the type of bike I have and because of some physical problems. These workouts have been so wonderful! Thank you!

I tweaked my knee over the weekend so I knew I wanted a seated workout and I found a great one! I love that right/left set. It was different but a lot of fun and I made sure to take it easy on my hurt knee but still giving a little resistance. Love that workout! I think that’s the most I’ve sweat while doing one of your videos! I’ve been working out with you since about January trying to hit my wedding goal weight by July and I’m already 15 pounds down pairing this with healthy eating. I use a stationary bike in my basement so the seated rides are really helpful. Even so, I usually add in resistance bands or light weights on the upper body for the times you go out of the saddle. Pushing myself to get up to those intermediate and advanced videos. Thank you for all you do, Kaleigh! ♥️

I’m on the road for work and my hotel only has a recumbent bike. This was the perfect workout for me today. Even though you label it as “beginner” I still made it rain and got a great workout in!
This was my second ride and I'm literally dripping with sweat haha. I'm a pilates instructor and I've been lifting weights for a few years, but had to stop lifting about a week ago due to a herniated disc that needs to heal. I became really distressed at the prospect of losing all my progress, so I got myself a second-hand stationary bike so I can keep training the low impact way, and started with your Beginner Guide to Indoor Cycling, following along in order. Anyway, I love it and I love the way it works my legs. Plus I love the way you fixate on posture - maintaining a neutral spine is crucial when working out with a lumbar spine injury. Anyway, thank you for your fantastic and super helpful free videos, it's much appreciated!!!

Thank you! I’ve been doing your beginner rides for a month now and seen a huge improvement. My first ride I burned 108 calories and got a top rpm of 97 and could only keep going through the last sprints. Now my last sprint is at 117 rpm and I’m burning 170 calories in a 20 minute workout. I improve with every workout. I really hated cardio but these keep me interested, challenged and engaged! I’m definitely team climb. 🔥
I don't usually comment on videos but just wanted to say I've been following your videos and programs since January and I have made some great progress and lost nearly two stone! Due to recent Illness I've gone back to some beginner type videos to build myself back up. I was pleasantly surprised at how I haven't quite lost all my progress! Thanks so much for everything. I recently started indoor cycling to get in better shape and randomly found your videos. And OMG I love your teaching style! And I especially love your energy and encouragement! Your videos are so enjoyable it makes cycling a breeze!
I’m on the road for work and my hotel only has a recumbent bike. This was the perfect workout for me today. Even though you label it as “beginner” I still made it rain and got a great workout in!
This was my second ride and I'm literally dripping with sweat haha. I'm a pilates instructor and I've been lifting weights for a few years, but had to stop lifting about a week ago due to a herniated disc that needs to heal. I became really distressed at the prospect of losing all my progress, so I got myself a second-hand stationary bike so I can keep training the low impact way, and started with your Beginner Guide to Indoor Cycling, following along in order. Anyway, I love it and I love the way it works my legs. Plus I love the way you fixate on posture - maintaining a neutral spine is crucial when working out with a lumbar spine injury. Anyway, thank you for your fantastic and super helpful free videos, it's much appreciated!!!

Thank you! I’ve been doing your beginner rides for a month now and seen a huge improvement. My first ride I burned 108 calories and got a top rpm of 97 and could only keep going through the last sprints. Now my last sprint is at 117 rpm and I’m burning 170 calories in a 20 minute workout. I improve with every workout. I really hated cardio but these keep me interested, challenged and engaged! I’m definitely team climb. 🔥
I don't usually comment on videos but just wanted to say I've been following your videos and programs since January and I have made some great progress and lost nearly two stone! Due to recent Illness I've gone back to some beginner type videos to build myself back up. I was pleasantly surprised at how I haven't quite lost all my progress! Thanks so much for everything. This is the first time in such a long time that I've enjoyed exercising! You rule, keep up the videos!

I have had a month off the bike due to travel and was really nervous to get back on again! This ride was fun and encouraging and doable, all while challenging me! Thanks for dancing me through the sprints. I am so glad to be back in it with you again! 💥🤩
