- The Day Tadej Pogačar Made PURPLE Shorts ILLEGAL
The first few days of Giro d’Italia have been nothing but crazy. We’ve finally found a rider capable of holding Tadej Pogačar’s wheel and stealing the pink jersey on day one, and then Pogačar absolutely dominating the next day to take back what was meant to be his from the get-go. But as soon as he put on the pink jersey, the controversy started, and his purple bib shorts almost got him disqualified from the Giro. So here’s the entire story of how Tadej Pogačar almost made purple shorts illegal.

UCI being absolute amateurs
read what they did at the BMX worlds last week , horrible stuff week after week at all events from UCI
@@dkinney8046 what happend and where can i read about it?
'we didn't have peppa pig. but we did have peppa pog' absolutely genius writing here
"They have been told to get a life" absolutely rightly so!
For one I think its just embarrassing. And second I love both the skinsuit and the Peppa Pog
I think someone at the UCI was bored and thought they could pull off a power move, until the real people in power (meaning those who have and control the most money) told them to sit down. So the UCI did exactly that and pretended nothing had happened.
Even the color is not safe from UCI regulations huh?
UCI are a bunch of egomaniacs... what's new? What should be established is some rule whereby a rider cannot be disqualified from an event by the UCI due to an issue with with the organizers' choice. In this case, if the organizer decided what the skinsuit and jersey would be, that should ONLY fall on the organizers' shoulders. UCI should never have that much power to disqualify a rider due to no fault of their own.
"In the end they didnt have peppa pig, but they did have peppa Pog" im fuckin dying yo 🤣
PEPPA POG 😂😂😂 please let this become a thing
Pogačar and you are doing an amazing job!
The UCI should rather have talked to castelli and the race organizer since they are the onces responsible for the suit! Not Pogacar and UAE.
The UCI forces them to wear a leaders jersey, yet they aren't allowed to wear it because someone else messed up the colors? Wtf
Edit: I've seen the green jersey in the Tour also being differen't colors last year. Nothing drama here, UCI?
Why Budapest parliament building at 5:44?
Fuchsia-pink all day and life. A no brainer.
Just a bunch of key managers pretending to pumping gas in their tesla
Shorts aren’t jersey… another UCI stupidity
The UCI is that drunk friend that won't shut the hell up
What is that Hungarian Parliament picture at 5:44 :D
sure it is
Its a problem of many sprot govering bodies- national, continental and world. Their time is coming to an end, more and more comercial races, competitions legues are forming and are more popular and profitable. UCI rules are ridiculous in many ways for ex dress colours, bicycle geometry etc. Riders dont want to follow their stupid rules and just want to ride. Officials just try to act like they were important to keep thier jobs - were they get quite a lot for doing little or thing that nobody needs.
another reason why UCI has to disappear.
We need rules, but we need to me modern in these and also understand intend.
Beyond that a ruling body that shoots first and ask question after, it should simply not exist.
Another great achievement by UCI.....
Clearly its power tripping megalomaniac action by the UCI 😂😂😂
Run along UCI it was nod to a disaster you fools.
Title: Made purple short illegal.
Video: didnt make purple shorts illegal.
ok but did they (UCI) measure his socks also? ;-) Yep... UCI is having too much free time to find these kind of absurd
Storm in a tea cup
color was way to close to the chiclamina short and sprinter kit. They should not have allowed it, and given out a big fine, as they use to for Cipollini back in the days.
the uci guys must be bored af
LOL!
Much ado about nothing. A tempest in a teapot.
Uci get a life lol😂
>in the 1950's
oh my god, who cares? 75 years ago?
