@@superandroid1675 Yes, and it also sings somber and gentle dirges. Not to mention it’s also just a gentle giant with a heart of gold, besides, Fueccoco is a playful little gator and it takes good care of the egg on its head when it evolves.
I like this line a lot. Sadly seems people mostly interpret it as a "dia de los muertos" reference and that's mexican and not Spanish. Though i've seen another interpretation. As the "sombrero" can be seen to as a "mona de Pasqua" an Easter cake eaten on Eastern Spain that originally had an egg on top (now mostly it's chocolate)
The major theme for Skeledirge seems to be the bridge between life & death as well as bridging cultures, the two biggest ways to do that are through music and bodies of water. Spain's old world in ancient Egypt is combined with the new world of the Americas, alligators/crocodiles are associated with both & uniquely vocal with their bellows. It's not so much inspired by Spain, but by Spain's inspirations & the places Spain itself inspired.
Tbf, if you look at Quaquaval it's very much akin to Brazil as Skeledirge is to Mexico. Brazil specifically, because of the fighting style. Relative to Paldea, in that both Mexico and Brazil were once colonies of Spain and Portugal respectively.
After a lot of debating between it and the cat, I could not be happier with what my Fuecoco turned into. I love pokemon with a sound theme, I love that we have a new starter with no human proportions in sight, and it's even got a little bird friend which is so cute. It helps that Torch Song is absolutely broken, too
As a preface, I LOVE Fuecoco. It's honestly probably one of my favourite Pokemon now. It helped that this is only the 3rd time the Grass starter wasn't my favourite (Totodile because he's empty brain happy time and Scorbunny because it's a bunny). So I was of course VERY excited for it's final evolution. A part of the reason a love Fuecoco so much is it's chonkiness, it's just a chubby ball of happiness, I like Rowlet for a similar reason. So I was really hoping the final Evo would be a big chunky thing, like in some Fakemon designs. When I first saw Skelidirge, I honestly went "that's it?", I was surprised that I didn't immediately love it, as it wasn't anything I expect or thought I wanted it to be. On first impressions, it looked like a clown with it's white face and fire on the sides of its mouth looking like stereotypical stuck out red clown hair to me. But man, when I read about it a bit more I fell in love with it. Learning about the little bird it brought to life that plays its face like an instrument (I've always really liked symbiosis), the kind of lizard statue things it's multicoloured face is based off, alongside it's Day of the Dead inspiration (a holiday that while I don't celebrate have a lot of love for), and even the Dirge part of its name (there's something really sweet to me about a mournful song for the departed to me), and Ghost type is one of my favourite types. I fell in love with it, this big flat fuck. It felt like it was made for me after learning about it. Easily one of my favourite Pokemon this gen and starter final evo.
I can say that Skelidirge is probably one of my favorite starters of all time and tied with best fire type starter for me with Incineroar. It’s theming of Día de Los Muertos with also the symbiotic relationship real birds have with crocs and gators. Having the little friend bird which Skelidirge brought to life with his positivity and song is great and I’m glad we can get some ghost types which aren’t just either a dead thing/Pokémon brought back to life, a sinister Pokémon what wants to kill you, or a haunted item. It’s a living Pokémon whose ability to connect and touch others peoples souls is the reason it’s ghost type and I’m glad it when that approach, with the singing it’s like with Ryme in this game too, we got a ghost type gym leader who isn’t just a spooky/chill introverted person. We got an extrovert who also touches people’s souls with song
I imagine Skelidirge being a really gentle soul, with its little bird friend and soothing singing voice. I can just imagine it being a really friendly big monster with its audience, its fellow starters, its trainer and its teammates. So if anyone thinks that its a mindless killing machine, Stop judging books by their covers. Edit: Also, it might sound strange but, Skelidirge also slightly resembles a very big Dog, particularly a Basset hound. Anyone else think so?
@@Dani-Claw Actually, I imagine Skelidirge being more of an Alligator than a Crocodile. Skelidirge has the features of an Alligator which also includes the temperament. Alligators are far more docile than Crocodiles and kill far fewer people.
I do quite like that the soul bird moves during animation, but as with a lot of things in S/V, it probably could have implemented better. It just slides around a bit too abruptly to look natural.
I love their of use of themes, the starters are basically performers: Quaquaval is the Dancer Meowscarada is the Magician And Skeledirge is the Singer.
Skeledirge truly feels like a design that takes full advantage of a 3D pokemon game, to the point that even though my fuecoco was fully evolved before the 4th gym for me, it took me the rest of the game to really appreciate the depth of Skeledirge's look. Homie is utterly fucking PACKED with detail: Burning nest hair, scales on belly look like a tuxedo, and the plover concept in its entirety is one of the most charming things I've seen in a pokemon design in a LONG time. Sometimes I waffle on whether or not the design is *too* busy, and in any other game I would probably say yes. But I think for how SV handles the camera and 3d space, you get a lot of opportunities to really study its design and find new pieces to appreciate about it. Top Croc, most def 💯
I like all three final starter evos, but Skeledirge is easily the best of the three. Not only is it super creative and look really cool, but its also the first quadruped final Fire starter! :D
I think the Paldea starters are now on my Top 5 favorite starter trios, love the concepts, designs and types of all three (I remain a Team Meowscarada, I believe in cat suppremacy)
I love having a starter that isn't at all anthropomorphic but there is so much more! Crocodilians really do sing (well its more a deep bellow) to attract mates and chirp as babies to call for help from their very attentive mothers. Skeledrige being an intimidating looking nurturer is just perfect for the species its based off of. I am usually a grass starter person but I'm so glad I picked fire this game.
2:27 there is actually another pair of Pokemon with a symbiotic relationship introduced in these games. Dondozo and Tatsugiri. Tatsugiri is cunning and smart. It knows that it’s weak so it plays dead or goes into Dondozo’s mouth for protection. It then commands Dondozo to target prey (specifically bird Pokemon; that’s why feathers are everywhere in Casseroya Lake). This happens in double battles too where having Dondozo and Tatsugiri (with Commander) simultaneously gives Dondozo a double omniboost but Tatsugiri can’t attack nor be hit. Hope you talk about this some time soon because I really love their gimmick.
Can I just say, psyduck being based off of platypuses actually makes way more sense than ducks when you actually look at the design. EDIT: Also, my thoughts on skeledirge? Amazing nuff said.
The head nest is also a reference to a Spaniard bake named "Monas de Pascua" that is kind-a common in Mallorca, WHICH, has a legend named "drac de na coca", that in shorts it was a knight who killed a Nile Crocodile in Mallorca and then gifted the dead corpse to his beloved, the "mommy" is kept in a museum, which is cool and probably, besides Dia de Los Muertos inspiration, references the ghost type in Skeledirge
I loved all the starters in Generation 9 for Paldea Fuecoco’s evolutionary line is amazing and I like how Skeledirge became a fire crocodile singer with a bird friend!
The version I heard says it's theme is a folkloric creature, at every thousand years this creature turns into a bird when another one is born, it fits pretty well tho
1:10 When I see the egg and nest on it’s head I just think it looks cool. It’s a neat touch that it also resembles a sombrero. I don’t think there is anything wrong being inspired by a common tradition on a Pokémon. Or maybe I’m just missing the point of the joke, just hearing it made me think. Lol
Something about how Skelidirge sings to soothe the souls of everyone around it reminds me of those Solfeggio Healing Frequencies. Hence if I got one you’d imagine what I’d name them.
Didn't Galar and Alola already do an entertainment theme with their starters An archer, a wrestler, a singer A drummer, a soccer player, and James Bond How many times can they use that theme
I think you are stretching what "entertainers" can be. Sure, there are archery demonstrations but not exactly something you can say is peak entertainment. Wrestling is indeed an entertainment show and so is opera but Primarina is leaning more into the siren that captivates people in the sea. It just makes a perfect fit for a siren to be an opera singer. Galar starters are just things and concepts that are integral to English culture. Futbol, music and the most famous spy in all of fiction. These three are something you can see in different plazas in Madrid (not a literal samba dancer but still).
I never really liked Fuecoco that much, and tend to use grass starters so I chose Sprigatito, though with SV since it had three stories I wanted to use three different teams, but when I saw Skeledirge being used in a raid I knew I just had to grab it for my Team Star story team, such a cool pokemon
I love this generations starts a lot. It was hard to choose cause of the final evos. I love playing a bard in dnd and all of them were just such a treat as a result
Somehow, I can imagine a Skeledrige as a Pokemon that may look like a big, scary beast but actually has an equally big heart along with its love for music. It will blaze away its enemies effortlessly but is super sentimental and friendly with its little flaming bird, its trainer, its teammates, its fellow starters Meowscarada and Quaquaval, and all the other people and Pokemon it’s friends with. While I’m not that fussed about Fueccoco or Crocalor, I’ll admit that Skelidridge and its little bird buddy are genuinely cool, especially being able to sing to soothe the souls of those around them. I’d make it my second choice of starter after Meowscarada. Edit: Also, it might sound strange but, Skelidirge also slightly resembles a very big Dog, particularly a Basset hound. Anyone else think so?
Honestly, I like all the starters & their evolutions, especially the lore behind skeledirge. Like with gator over here, I chose fuecoco ad my starter as well (even though I chose team water for the splatfest) and I even got its hidden ability. In addition, with skeldirge set and stone, we're 1 step closed to make a full on alligator team. Now THAT would be cool.
What I couldve changed abt Crocalors design is make its eyes similar to Skeledirge’s with black sclera and white/yellow pupils instead but thats just me. Though, Skeledirge stays the coolest looking Paldean starter last evo, and it just adds points with how its signature move looks like Diluc’s ult from Genshin Impact lol - sincerely, a sprigatito fan
The singing makes sense. Crocodiles croon an infrasonic song that requires special equipment to hear. I bet skeledirge's song can only be heard by the dead.
I remember I was in orchestra when someone found out what all the final starter evos looked like, and for some reason everyone thought Skeledirge had a bad face, even me. However, by the time the game came out, and we had gotten better looks at it, I grew to like it; my original distaste for it was born from poor image resolution. When it fully evolved in game, and I saw it gained a ghost typing (ghost was my favorite type at the time, and still remains comfortably in my top 3), I thought it had peaked. And then I heard Skeledirge’s foghorn of a cry, and it instantly found itself in my list of favorite Pokémon, where it remains to this day. Heck, it’s my second favorite starter Pokémon, only beaten by Charizard, who I will admit likely only still has that spot for being first Pokémon ever.
It's worth noting that the Egyptian plover thing _might_ actually be a myth, or at the very least it has actually never been observed in the wild. Most accounts of it seem to be based on purely anecdotal evidence. Also, I love how the mic stand Skeledirge's bird conjures for itself when Skeledirge uses Torch Song can also be interpreted as a parrot-style perch!
I freaking love Skeledirge. Best looking starter out of the three in my opinion. Everytime I see Skeledirge firing a shadow ball in the game, it reminds me of the Nine-tailed Fox firing the bijuu dama in Naruto Shippuden.
Hey! Seeing this 2 months after. I'm playing Violet since January 13th and LOVING it!. I was to choose Sprigatito, but as my Fav. types are Ghost and Ice, I went with Fuecoco. This is my first Pokémon Core Game. You see, I'm Brazilian, but I have a lot of knowledge of Portuguese Culture due to being a Portuguese descendant. I do see a lot of connections from Skeledirge with a Portuguese Folclore Character: The Coca (or Coco). She's a witch who goes for that king of kidnaping misbehaved children. But in some sources, she is a Dragon-like type of creature. But in Brazil, the "Cuca" is an alligator. We only have Crocs in Venezuela and Colombia (Orinoco). Here in Brazil, we only have Gators. And yes, I love Crocs. They are majestic and string!
Skeledirge’s design has really grown on me, I too didn’t particularly like the “ball” of fire on the tip of its nose but since you’ve pointed out that it’s a bird, I actually think the design and concept is one of the strongest this gen
3:57: That would be awesome. A rock group comprising entirely of Pokémon (outside of the human manager). On the microphone, there’s Skelidirge and Primarina. On the lead guitar is Amped Toxtricity while Low-Key Toxtricity plays base. On the drums, we have Rillaboom. At the keyboard is Oranguru. With the alto sax and clarinet is Meowscarada (I mean imagine one playing a woodwind instrument.) On the horns are Pikapeck and Trumbeak. As the drum machines, they are Loudred and Exploud. And with the violin is Krickitune. Ladies and gentlemen, give a round of applause for, The Pokétops!
Skeledirge is my all-time favourite starter pokemon ever, I love this croc, bro! It's inspiration, it's Pokédex entry, the transition from fuecoco to skeledirge, everything to do with this pokemon just made me fall in love with it even more. And it's ON ALL FOURS,it doesn't stand on 2 legs like the meowscarada and quaquaval. It's a crocodile first, and a singer second, the humanoid aspect may have overtaken the other 2, not skeledirge. This pokemon is raw!
Skeledirge is a Super Impressive Pokémon Design (easily the Best Starter of G9), I'm so Happy the way they turned out (Especially after the Disappointment of the Final Evos of the Gen 8 Starters IMO --- My Bar was Soooooooooooooooooo Low when I first saw the New Starters for SV, the 1st Stages look Perfect btw), it's right up there with Feraligatr (my Personal Favourite of G2) and Kroookodile (a Personal Favourite of G5), and I'm Super Happy it Broke the "Zodiac Chain"... pretty Refreshing ngl, Not sure if it's my All-Time Fave G9 Poké, that's yet to be seen once I get more further into the Game, Also Quaxly is the 2nd Best Starter while Quaxwell is pretty Weak in execution, Quaqauval is pretty Great Design-wise... Sprigatito is Cute, Floragato is Fantastic (the Best 2nd Stag of the 3), Meowscarada is... Meh
it's design reference a space opera. Think about it, the head has the shape of a spaceship's cannon, its body patterns makes it look like it is wearing opera singer clothes. The little bird sits in the front of the pokemon and actually damages the enemys. It remembers me to Macross, a space opera best known for the way that the antagonist army was defeated, with the song of a girl.
i love skeledirge so much hes so cool. only thing i dont really like is that i think the skull pattern should be more like a part of his face than painted on if that makes sense. but i think hes very cool
Something I noticed was that Skeledirge has a unique Terastallized stance. After Tarastallizing, the birb now rests right under the terra crown rather than on the tip of Skeledirge's jaw.
Skeledirge grew on me overtime. I picked him because first, Fuecoco has been the first red boi I fell in love at the first sight since Cyndaquil. I really liked his pepper theme. Two, the only non-humanoid pokemon of all three is such a fresh air after gen8 where all 3 looked humanoid more or less… And the design looks more sleek than when I first saw it. So I really like it lol
Crocodiles are easily my favourite animals and to see a more accurate looking croc puts a smile on my face. When I play Scarlet and Violet I’m definitely using skeledirge.
Skeledirge is best mon and reminiscent of my Jhoto days picking Totodile because gator plus I'd want Skeledirge to sing me to sleep both in a wholesome way and in an end of life way
we now have fully bipedal croc (krookodile and krokorok, totodile, croconaw, fuecoco, crocalor) facultative biped (feraligatr) and quadruped (sandile and skeledirge)
Had my Fuecoco named Crowley when I first got it since I wasn't sure it wouldn't become a snake. I changed his name to Miguel when he evolved because of the Day of the Dead/Coco connection. XD Now I feel called out. Either way, I love my big musical buddy

Well, seeing as Quaxly is NOT native to Paldea, it's possible the other two are not from Paldea either.
Paldea is full of ways Spain has influenced the world. Which would include Mexico, Latin/South American regions.
There’s plenty of Mexican stuff in Pokémon. Like the mouse and population bomb. Mexicans over breed and ruin good cities.
Tbf, if you look at Quaquaval it's very much akin to Brazil as Skeledirge is to Mexico. Brazil specifically, because of the fighting style.
Relative to Paldea, in that both Mexico and Brazil were once colonies of Spain and Portugal respectively.
I finished violet and just started Scarlet yesterday and I picked Fuecoco as the starter and I love him
The Fuecoco line is so immortal it creates both a life (the egg that hatches into the bird) and a soul for said bird
After a lot of debating between it and the cat, I could not be happier with what my Fuecoco turned into. I love pokemon with a sound theme, I love that we have a new starter with no human proportions in sight, and it's even got a little bird friend which is so cute. It helps that Torch Song is absolutely broken, too
Skeledirge is the best starter and we Fuecoco Fans got it good!
Besides the neat final evolution design I really dig it’s cry. Just top notch sound design everytime I hear it
As a preface, I LOVE Fuecoco.
We got an extrovert who also touches people’s souls with song
the symbiotic relationship with real birds and crocodiles is kind of dubious since there's no actual evidence or real video of them actually doing it.
@@harry.t9523 That and the fact that crocodilians are the sweetest, gentlest parents despite being death machines. ❤
I was thinking the same when i saw the animations
I love their of use of themes, the starters are basically performers:
Quaquaval is the Dancer
Meowscarada is the Magician
And Skeledirge is the Singer.
Technically, typhlosion is also quadrupedal and stands up only to look bigger during fights.
@@victzegopterix2 he walks on two legs in HGSS.
@@victzegopterix2 yes
I always love all the starters in ever Gen!
But this Gen especially is really good and I love Fuecoco so much!
Skeledirge is my favorite final evolution now!
I love how Skeledirge Is Just Longer Than Most Americans
They’re like a mob boss and their henchmen. They’re great.
Still trying to figure out if the bird on Skeledirge’s snout is its own species of Pokémon or just a product of Skeledirge’s flames
Can I just say, psyduck being based off of platypuses actually makes way more sense than ducks when you actually look at the design.
EDIT: Also, my thoughts on skeledirge? Amazing nuff said.
Ikr that's what I'm thinking too
The head nest is also a reference to a Spaniard bake named "Monas de Pascua" that is kind-a common in Mallorca, WHICH, has a legend named "drac de na coca", that in shorts it was a knight who killed a Nile Crocodile in Mallorca and then gifted the dead corpse to his beloved, the "mommy" is kept in a museum, which is cool and probably, besides Dia de Los Muertos inspiration, references the ghost type in Skeledirge
I love Skeledirge so much. It grew on me a lot
To me when using torch song the microphone turns to something that attacks the opponent but I think it looks like moltres a lil
Lol
Skelidirge is the *Phantom* of the Opera
These three final evolutions would be perfect for a diner
Something about how Skelidirge sings to soothe the souls of everyone around it reminds me of those Solfeggio Healing Frequencies. Hence if I got one you’d imagine what I’d name them.
I love the Gen 9 Starters theme called "The Entertainers" Gen 9 designs are soooooo unique!
Didn't Galar and Alola already do an entertainment theme with their starters
An archer, a wrestler, a singer
A drummer, a soccer player, and James Bond
How many times can they use that theme
I think you are stretching what "entertainers" can be.
Sure, there are archery demonstrations but not exactly something you can say is peak entertainment. Wrestling is indeed an entertainment show and so is opera but Primarina is leaning more into the siren that captivates people in the sea. It just makes a perfect fit for a siren to be an opera singer.
Galar starters are just things and concepts that are integral to English culture. Futbol, music and the most famous spy in all of fiction.
These three are something you can see in different plazas in Madrid (not a literal samba dancer but still).
Kalos had wizard, rouge, and paladin
I never really liked Fuecoco that much, and tend to use grass starters so I chose Sprigatito, though with SV since it had three stories I wanted to use three different teams, but when I saw Skeledirge being used in a raid I knew I just had to grab it for my Team Star story team, such a cool pokemon
I love this generations starts a lot. It was hard to choose cause of the final evos. I love playing a bard in dnd and all of them were just such a treat as a result
For some reason there's a lot of Egyptian influence this gen with Espathra and Rabsca
Imagine if there was a generation with a grass type croc/gator and a water type cat. Then you could have a trio of gators and a trio of cats.
If you look at skeledirge head on, you can see that it has a microphone design on its head & face. Too cute. :3
Honestly not a bad starter in the bunch it's been a while since we've had 3 amazing starters
Gen 7 was pretty good imo
Just would've been better had incineroar not been a wrestler
I would have liked if Inceneroar still had the ability to walk Quadruped, just being able to alternate.
Also gen 8 is still really cool.
Eventually we’ll get the “inspired by Mexico” Pokémon region. When that happens, this and Hawlucha need to be included.
The singing makes sense. Crocodiles croon an infrasonic song that requires special equipment to hear.
I bet skeledirge's song can only be heard by the dead.
my skeledirge is named poptart and i love her so much
@HeyTaraa BREAKFAST GANG!!
Perfect way to start the day
i named mine fuego
unoriginal name i know, but fuecoco reminded me of fuego takis and it just stuck
Mine is named Ancho and he's the best.
I thought this croc was ugly at first but I actually grew to like this mon alot because of all the little details.
I think my favorite thing is that when it terracrystalize the little bird moves a bit on the side of it's head and just hangs around the crown
The first proper quadrupedal Fire Starter.
There's actually a lot of subtle influences on pokemon designs that can be seen. I loved Skeldirge, he may be among my top favorite opkemon!
I freaking love Skeledirge. Best looking starter out of the three in my opinion. Everytime I see Skeledirge firing a shadow ball in the game, it reminds me of the Nine-tailed Fox firing the bijuu dama in Naruto Shippuden.
Totally agree with this video. Skeledirge was the first Fire-type starter I ever picked and I have zero regrets.
Yeah, Skeledirge is my new all time favorite fire starter. I love it so much.
Wait... Psyduck? A platypus? That's both hilarious and sad, lol.
I love the idea how a singing crocodile together with a little bird!
3:57:
That would be awesome.
With the alto sax and clarinet is Meowscarada (I mean imagine one playing a woodwind instrument.)
On the horns are Pikapeck and Trumbeak.
As the drum machines, they are Loudred and Exploud.
And with the violin is Krickitune.
Ladies and gentlemen, give a round of applause for, The Pokétops!
3:14:
And for a little while, I thought so too.
2:34 dragapult?
I heard skeledirge talking to his radio, he called it his "little buddy".
Skekedurge is the best. Meowscarada is pretty nice. I like. Quaquaval unsettles me greatly. The way it moves in battle and the toes are very eurgh
I don't HATE the ducks, but they are definitely my least favorite starter this gen
I like how the red and purple on Skeledirge could stand for both the games' colors or the Fire/Ghost typing
Skeledirge is a Super Impressive Pokémon Design (easily the Best Starter of G9), I'm so Happy the way they turned out (Especially after the Disappointment of the Final Evos of the Gen 8 Starters IMO --- My Bar was Soooooooooooooooooo Low when I first saw the New Starters for SV, the 1st Stages look Perfect btw), it's right up there with Feraligatr (my Personal Favourite of G2) and Kroookodile (a Personal Favourite of G5), and I'm Super Happy it Broke the "Zodiac Chain"... pretty Refreshing ngl,
Not sure if it's my All-Time Fave G9 Poké, that's yet to be seen once I get more further into the Game,
Also Quaxly is the 2nd Best Starter while Quaxwell is pretty Weak in execution, Quaqauval is pretty Great Design-wise...
Skeledirge is now my 3rd favorite Fire-type starter with Emboar in 2nd and Charizard in 1st.
i love skeledirge so much hes so cool.
only thing i dont really like is that i think the skull pattern should be more like a part of his face than painted on if that makes sense. but i think hes very cool
As a Sprigatito fan, I'm not jealous, I like bipedal starters
I new this when Skeledrige had the bird and made me say ok he is one of the best final and best
Evelotions
“You try looking normal without skin!!”
Wise words of wisdom
skeledirge is TERRIFYING to think about.
a fire breathing crocodile as big as me that stands up and roars (also his cry)
Something I noticed was that Skeledirge has a unique Terastallized stance. After Tarastallizing, the birb now rests right under the terra crown rather than on the tip of Skeledirge's jaw.
We gonna talk about the onceler 💀
Skeledirge grew on me overtime. I picked him because first, Fuecoco has been the first red boi I fell in love at the first sight since Cyndaquil. I really liked his pepper theme. Two, the only non-humanoid pokemon of all three is such a fresh air after gen8 where all 3 looked humanoid more or less…
And the design looks more sleek than when I first saw it. So I really like it lol
Quaquaval’s design is good and it grew on me overtime. He’s fabulous.
I LOVE SKELIDERGE I LOVE HOW IT IS THE FIRST FIRE TYPE ON ALL 4S AND IT LOOKS SO COOL I am so happy I looked up there final evos before picking Quaxly
Skeledirge, Jigglypuff, Exploud, Toxtricity, Rillaboom now thats a band right there!
Crocodiles are easily my favourite animals and to see a more accurate looking croc puts a smile on my face. When I play Scarlet and Violet I’m definitely using skeledirge.
Skeledirge is best mon and reminiscent of my Jhoto days picking Totodile because gator plus I'd want Skeledirge to sing me to sleep both in a wholesome way and in an end of life way
Meowscarada looks like a Klonoa villian, that automatically makes me love it
Skeledirge do be a Disney princess worthy of their own musical huh?
Skeledirge is my favourite because I love crocodiles and I think the crocodile Skeledirge is based off of is specifacally the Saltwater Crocodile
we now have fully bipedal croc (krookodile and krokorok, totodile, croconaw, fuecoco, crocalor) facultative biped (feraligatr) and quadruped (sandile and skeledirge)
Had my Fuecoco named Crowley when I first got it since I wasn't sure it wouldn't become a snake. I changed his name to Miguel when he evolved because of the Day of the Dead/Coco connection. XD Now I feel called out.
Either way, I love my big musical buddy
The crocodile egg turns into birdy
