    Squatting should be a felony and should get a 15 year prison sentence

      The OP in the story outright owned the house with his wife. The Karen and her Bratty Son was in the wrong because she was demanding > THEIR HOME < for her Bratty Son. to live in instead of an dorm. Hammerdragon how would you feel if it was your home and an Karen demanded it for her Bratty Son then called the police on you for > Squatting

      if somebody squatting in your house,you call the police and say somebody has broken into your house,if they say they are renting the house and show fake paperwork,you say to the police,why would i rent out a house with guns in it.

      In some states this past year they passed a law that goes in to effect July the 1st that makes it a crime to squat in property which is a mistor miner but if you destroy any property in the house it becomes a felony

    Technically the karn claming her son owned the house the cops should have by law asked for the paperwork to prove it was befor knocking on the door.

      no it a good reason for common sense, this is a person from 3rd world as a guess, making up BS and thinking we all are dumb enough to believe it, but it causes worry in people not born with enough common sense and too much gullibility the one thing in America that the cops will always respond is attacks on capitalism, squatters and such have no chance

      Install cameras,outside and inside,and if this happens again,DON'T begin to argue with them call the police.

    Yeah..this seems dubious at best, especially as cops refuse to do ANYTHING about squatters, referring to them as "civil matters"

      If the police won't do anything you can do stuff yourself like get a gun a pointed out the people if it's your house and tell them to get out to make sure you have all the paperwork before you do the gun part because it's probably illegal.

    And now in the second story, why would you even betray yourself? As such, a c***** mother have to leave the kids with an abusive husband. Because you said you left and took the car. The computer and stuff like that. But didn't say you took the kids.
    Which should have been the first thing you would have taken.

      She did state that her husband was a bad husband but a good father.

    • @christinalyons9038
      @christinalyons9038 5 місяців тому

      It isn't always that simple. She said she had no money & nowhere to go 1st off. Also that when she did start working, she worked so much that there were 48hrs every week in which she worked the entirety of that time. She also stated she had visitation with her children, so for all u know the courts granted custody of the kids to the father. And even if that weren't the case, she stated that while he was a horrible husband, he was a great father. Why would she take away a home & stability to bring them into an unknown situation of possible homelessness & or moving pillar to post. She did what any good mother would do, she made sure they had a roof over their heads, food in their mouths & clothes on their back. Not once in her story did she say that she abandoned her children, she just showed that they didn't live with her full time. Also for all u know she was working to change that outcome

    • @christinalyons9038
      @christinalyons9038 5 місяців тому

      Not to mention when she 1st found a place to live, even with all the jobs she was working she still had to have roommates. So where would she put them & who would take care of them whilst she was at work, especially during that 48hr stint she worked each week. Good childcare is expensive. So she likely would've been spending her entire income on daycare & then babysitters after daycare hours, bc they don't stay open all night

    The audacity those people showed is staggering.
    Karen didn't want her baby to live in a dorm, aww, too bad. Trying to kick the homeowners out of their home so her baby could live in a house goes beyond being arrogant and stupid. She received what she deserved, a shiny set of bracelets.
    That woman on the beach also received what she deserved, a shiny set of bracelets. How do her children handle things when they see someone not in a swimsuit but in clothing mommy doesn't like?

    Great book! But it brings back the grief I felt with her passing. She gave me an escape during a bleak time in my life. A special thank you to Tom Snyder and the Tomorrow Show for telling me about the book.
    We loved your work, Anne. I’ve devoured most of your repeatedly - the Vampires, Mayfair witches, and werewolves. I was surprised with the jump back into Mummies.
    Such great storytelling.

    I had several scummy Landlords and some who were saints. As a young woman I rented this small house. I was working two part time jobs at the time and since it was walking distance to my day job I would go home to eat lunch and let my cat out for awhile, I would at times find the Landlord there without notice in my place at times, he claimed to be looking for leaks or roof damage, etc. I thought it odd because I never had any issues with those things in the two months I lived there. One night he phoned me up and said there were more ways than one to pay for rent. I was interested because I wasn't exactly swimming in cash. I knew he owned several properties, so I'm thinking cleaning apts, houses, or lawn work. He asked if I was interested and I asked him what he had in mind. He said maybe he could come by once a week. Like a dumb bunny I asked him "what for?" , then it dawned on me a half moment later what he meant! Of course I let that golden opportunity pass. A year later a Lawyer contacted me, he wanted an account of all the females who rented from him and I relayed all the above experiences. It turns out another female who was a tenant was taking a shower and he let himself into her apartment without notice and scared her half to death. The Lawyer asked if I would testify in Court and said I sure would, the man even had pinups in his office of naked women all over the place when I went to pay rent and I thought that odd for a place of business. Never heard back from the Lawyer after I gave my written statement so I'm sure it was settled out of court.

      He is not allowed to just enter the property,regardless if he owns it or not,as long as you are paying to stay there,you have the same rights as if the property was yours,and for all you know he was looking for things to steal,smell your underwear,put up hidden cameras in the bathroom/bedroom.

    Where we live, the municipality has records that we OWN our property, we pay property taxes on this property. This property belongs to us. Isn't it like this in other municipalities? While the original title to our property is with our lawyer, and our copy is in a Safety Deposit Box in the bank, we do have the Property Tax BILL in our filing cabinet. That bill, shows us as the people who own and pay the taxes.

    Okay, the first story was going real good, right? Up until 4 minutes and twhen. You said the dumbest thing you could have ever said in your life. Everyone knows police do not kick out squatters and lesters. Are court order to do so, it's a civil. Matter and the police will not do anything. If someone calls about a squatter, everyone knows this.

    "Trespass" is not a synonym for "ban" or "prohibit." You can trespass on someone else's property. You can be arrested for trespassing. You can be charged with trespassing. But you don't "trespass" someone, or have someone "trespassed." That ain't English.

    First story - BS, they would have said it was a civil matter not threatening to arrest the homeowner. Especially if they had no proof of ownership. And why did he not call 911 himself when she didn't leave after being told to leave.

    So these stories are from a person how can't even read a word correctly. In the sentence the word "invalid" is about a person how has some type of illness or physical issue. And therefore it is pronounced in-va-lid, not in-val-id. In-valid means that something is not true. That is not the correct pronunciation of the word as used in this sentence.
    The poster needs to educate themselves.
