If OP had been there for 15 years and the pool was there for10 years he must have been there when the pool was installed

Who pays the electricity for the pool? If Sheila claims the pool is hers, then she is stealing electricity.

For that matter, where is the WATER line that fills the pool? Who has paid the water and electric bills for ten years? And there should be bills and records from when the pool was put in! Not to mention receipts for pool chemicals…

Not just that but he said the pool was there 10 years but he was there 15. Makes me think he paid for it to be installed.

When a restraining order is issued both parties get a certified copy or it is not legal.

The stories are good BUT THE STORYTELLER REALLY NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TELL A STORY OR THEY PERHAPS NEED TO GET A NEW STORY TELLER. HE RUNS HIS Stories together, and never changes the neons of his words. They just run one long sentence with no passion at all. Sorry, but I do like the stories.

Her restraining order would apply only to her property which his pool was not on so she only restrained herself from his property. He should have put up a fence to delineate where the property line was.

Don't pools have to have security fences?! They certainly do where I live, or wandering kids would be drowning in them regularly, and the older ones having pool parties when the owners were away. I don't understand how some perceived property line can "slice off" some neighbour's entire pool if the fence doesn't open into her property! And where is the filter located? On whose property? These stories don't sound believable.

    • @norarivkis2513

In fairness, if there were a fence just around the pool itself, it wouldn't necessarily price either way whose yard the pool was in. It could've been fenced from either direction.

I've seen on a previous story that they overloaded their pool with chlorine to make the water so it burns the skint and then after 3 days didn't burn the skin is that true? can you do it when you go away from more than 3 days and is it true that when perpetrating a crime such as trespassing and vandalism [in my experience you can't climb a fence without damaging it] all damages are the responsibility of the perpetrator leaving the homeowner free and clear of Damages?

I'm pretty sure that the story about the pool is fake. First of all, most places make it a law that if you're going to have a pool in your yard, that the yard must be fenced in. Secondly, a pool takes up a large amount of space, and is usually placed in the middle of the yard. In order for his pool to be on her property, her property line would have to go in between their houses from the street to the edge of the back yard, and then make a 90° turn to the side and take up the space directly behind both houses. NO ONE is going to try to claim that that's how the properties were divided up when the houses were built. I know that the neighbor was written as being insane, but there's a difference between insane and stupid.
A backyard neighbor rather than a next door neighbor would have been more believable. If the pool were located near the back edge of the backyard, the crazy neighbor could have tried to claim that the fence cut off part of their property and the pool was actually on the wrong side of the fence. That would have been at least believable that a crazy person would make such a claim, because someone might think that a previous owner accidentally cut off twenty feet of their back neighbors backyard is plausible. But to try and claim that the person living right BESIDE you has no backyard and that you own both entire yards? Nobody thinks that's how property lines work, not even crazy people.
    The story's a fake.

And it's way too dramatic. Also the person you try to get a restraining order against has the right to be at the hearing.

Wie lived in area in fla , one neighbor had a very large piece of property with six foot fence surrounding it. So she was going use it for a driving range, and I asked her who gave you permission to be on my land, she said she paid for it. Well he decided a surprise for her was best tactic and used a spare dog fence battery supply to several points of metal on the fence, it would give a substantial shock but not burn skin unless contact was held constant, Then it was just 24 volts he demonstrated it to me ,IT would absolutely give a shock but only if held hard. So when she arrived to enter ,her golf clubs and her enormous huge body flip and flop around like a fish out of water. Needless to say she did not get within twenty feet of my property, ever.
