  • I've done a bunch of videos and podcasts about exercising with HA but today, we talk about when you're officially ready to work it back in to your lifestyle in a more intentional way. I.E if you're an athlete who is ready to get back to training or an avid exerciser who is ready to get back into the gym WITHOUT messing up your hormones and causing your period to disappear again, this video is for you.

    What is your opinion about EMS (electric muscle stimulation) fitness? I got 2 periods after loosing it for 4 years and I am thinking to start it once or twice a week (with lower intensity). Now I do just yoga twice a week

      Hey Angela, I'm not sure this would be relevant to recovery at all - but if you mean for other purposes and are just concerned it would negatively affect recovery, I think its ok. It's not going to cause a problem.

    One question: I’m dealing with HA for years. Did increase calories (2500/3000) and decreased the exercise (currently just walks and light body weight never hard or long). Gained weight and feel the best I’ve felt for a long time. I even don’t mind my new curves and belly fat lol. Blood work, normal, just low LH and Thyroid.... still no period... is it possible that now it’s a sort of “wait game”? 🥺🥺

    Hey,I got my 3 periods. Soo,I'm thinking about getting back to working out. But,can I increase intensity monthly? Is that too much? And do I have to still eat 2500 calories?

      Monthly is a good cadence! I would keep eating 2500+ cals and not make a change to food intake until you're 100% sure the exercise alone is fine.
