Hate that this weight-loss narrative in social media makes women feel like it’s not big of a deal to lose their cycle. It never is and I wish to see a lot more people like you to be present in the media space to prevent girls from things us, HAers, have to deal with.
Thank you for the vid, Dani! Hope you’re doing great💗🌸

wow this whole time I was sure that my health issues recently must be stress, even though I did lose weight on purpose.
I can see now that I wasn't giving my body enough food!
thank you for opening my eyes to this x

hi i really need your help on this. please someóne help me on this. i do think i have an eating disorder. but i don.t think it's too severe. i still haven't reached my goal weight. i'm skinny, but not skinny enough. but i have lost a lot of weight really fast. like around 10kgs. now i'm struggling to poop regularly. i have always had very regular menstrual cycle. but in my last cycle, i bled very little. in this cycle, my period is 12 days late. i still haven't gotten it. i'm very scared. even if my missing period is due to me not eating enough, what's the next step? how do i maintain a slim figure while still not negatively impacting my menstrual cycle?

Hi I have a question I have had an ed for the past 4 years (since 2020)I’ve been in and out of recovery…. I was 39kg then I got up to 50kg relapsed got done to 40kg then back up to 63kg which is what I am now and have been since February I’m eating 2000 calories and only light walks for exercise and haven’t had a period since January 2020 but my question is if I take the pill to get my period even if it’s a fake period is there more of a chance to get pregnant

you won't actually be ovulating or releasing an egg when on the pill, so you won't get pregnant... the pill CAN, however, allow your body to become more used to having a normal cycle with timing, and there's a chance your body can normalize a stable period once you're off of it after taking it for a few months. This is all I know from my years of an ed and doctor visits.

Can you have signs of ovulation - cramping and cervical mucus & elevated LH using the pee sticks - and not have a period? I have not had a period since mid January but am getting all the signs of ovulation, I also get the feeling I’m going to get my period - feeling low energy, nausea, bloat and enlarged breasts, then no period. I’m so perplexed! I’m going to have a progesterone 21 day blood test this month to see if I’m ovulating. If it shows I am, is it possible to ovulate without then having a period?? I am not skinny, I eat a really good diet, l o animal stuff, full fat dairy, fermented foods, l o healthy fats, I don’t go to gym and just walk, do housework, gardening etc. I’m just under 5’10” and weight 131lbs. I’m heaviest I’ve been in years, to the extent my family have commented that I’m like an ‘Amazonian’ now!
Came back to say a huge Thankyou for your content, you are pretty much the only person out there addressing this epidemic of messed up menstrual cycles. I swear if men went through what we go through, things would be very different!

FYI, 131lbs is still pretty small for 5'10". I'm 5'9" and weigh about 160 and I'm still struggling to fully recover from HA. You might need to gain weight and if that's the case, please give yourself permission to do that! Best of luck, friend!

@@RachelBoudreaux-ft8ke thanks for the reply, I actually miscalculated as I’m in the Uk, I’m 141lbs, which using the bmi calculator is borderline between normal and overweight for my height. Tbh I don’t think bmi is a good way of knowing if someone’s healthy or not, as I have a lot of muscle I guess that contributes to higher bmi. This whole HA issue is so hard on many levels and the constant fixation on women’s weight and appearance in society does not help. Good luck to you too ❤️

of course, you can have those signs. it's only been a few months for you, just give your body some time. it's clearly trying. try to think of some other possible ways you can reduce the stress even more. but huh?? borderline btween normal and overweight? if ur 5'10 and 141 lbs that makes your BMI 20!! literally you can be up to bmi 25 before being overweight! you would have to weigh like 170 lbs to be overweight at your height. Studies have actually shown that a more fertile bmi would be at 22-24. I'm sure you'll have yours at a lower, but just saying.

I have a history of starve and binging and high dose birth control that contributed to weight gain.
I now have fatty liver and HA. Don’t ovulate. Overweight. You can be very overweight and malnourished
