I think it's normal in locs that are still maturing but I have used a crochet hook in the past to make my locs more uniform so that could work for you.
I've been learning on how to retwist my love since covid and since I can't afford to go to the shop and he more I have to start doing them myself and I'm looking for a different ways I'm doing it besides just retwisting them

They look great! You can use a blow dryer on cool if you want to avoid heat to speed up the process.

a hooded dryer is not bad it not direct heat like a blow dryer and it take less to dry
